Keep in mind that block explorer is still syncing. Would probably take 24h to get a realistic picture of what the top wallets are.

Network info on the new block explorer is showing the following: This looks to be the same version that I received from the Dev, so at least someone out there also has it and is testing it. Perhaps there have been developments. Perhaps there haven't.

It won't matter if he does deliver.

About the client version 0.8.1, there are actually just a few copies of 0.8.1 out there for private beta testing or being part the development team.
Over the past month, I am working purely on the development of torrents implementation on CLI and outsourced other time consuming stuff such as minor updates to the core client and GUI to trusted developer that are working with me. (Hope its ok to share that, but it's kinda fair to keep people updated with at least a vague sense of what is going on)

So, looks like its all on track: Dev was indicating that he didn't want to reveal any work in progress to prevent code being copied.
So
* Video of torrent working * $1m market cap * Closed source * Testing * $2m market cap * Testing * Open source * $5m market cap * Download.com * $100m market cap
In all seriousness, if the devs get this out and can build on the first releases, this project can jump in to the top 10, no problem.

In all seriousness, if the devs get this out and can build on the first releases, this project can jump in to the top 10, no problem. Please keep in mind that I am merely just a messenger. If VTR tanks or peaks then it just is what it is. I have no personal relationship with the developer and am merely an investor who was lucky enough to receive a beta version. Because I'm a human I fully respected vtr's wish that I do not share the beta. I felt that everyone here deserved an update, hence why I shared it (I've asked him for permission after the fact). I think if you've been watching VTR as long as I have that the dev doesn't want to hype something that still is in development; I think in terms of bullshit levels he could've put out tons of fake stuff by now to try and pump up the price but hasn't done so. All the updates I have seen (based upon my experience of the private beta) have been realistic, although I have never had access to any actual torrent features. In any case, for full due-diligence I own a fairly significant amount of vtorrent so personally hope it succeeds; but I please ask that you use your own due diligence when investing in anything. This isn't a stab against the dev, just that I am one voice in a very large community of something like 3-5000 cryptocurrencies, so please use your own knowledge to guide your decisions.

It won't matter if he does deliver. ain't that the truth! if he delivers who cares about his lack of communication ... does get frustrating though

Here's how this scam works. The developer really has nothing more than a screen shot. He disappears and then uses a sock puppet as Ik_do to be a cheerleader knowing he doesn't actually need to produce anything but can keep the project alive in the eyes of traders long enough to keep dumping all that lovely premine.
I personally don't get why people here haven't smelt this guys scam yet and haven't lynched him. It's the most obvious scams I've seen and shows how desperate some are to believe anything even if the facts are staring them in the face.
Bottom line of the developer disappears.....guess what? The coin is dead....and was just a scam.

Bottom line is that you just don't know what you are talking about... You can't just randomly call someone's project a scam or calling people a sock puppet without having any good proof.

It has more red flags than than most of the other scams.. So many red flags.I recently installed a new OS on my system and I couldn't be bothered to install the VTR wallet. I'll keep a copy of the wallet.dat, just in case. Fuck it guys, just let it die. On to the next scam.

But most scam these days doesn't stage exit strategy, they will suddenly disappear after amassing their targeted amount of money.
