edited OP a bit: *** Since 27/04/2015 this game officially has 2 mods: dnaleor and Miz4r Our shared donation address is 19ZGromrtYos5BG44nCDNNWjDwwp7Pfm1C*** ACTIVITY CHECKPlease check the color of the rank number in the colom left to your username on the scoreboard GREEN means that everything is ok. You posted at least once since the end of the last activity check RED means that you need to confirm you are active. Post something in the game topicPenalty for inactive players: 1% of the balance; second time: 2%, tirth missed activity check: 4%, etc Next Activity check: START 2015-05-01 00:00 UTC / END 2015-05-03 23:59:00 UTC The activity check period is the period since the end of the previous activity check. There will be one activity check each month, more precisely in the first 3 days of each month. when an activity check is going on, you will get notifications in 3 ways: 1) you will see it in the topic title 2) I will post it frequently in the topic 3) your rank number will be colored on the scoreboard. green means OK, red means that you need to post something also, you get a PM reminder for the first time you are in "the danger zone" Reason behind all this: if we don't do it, some people just forget about this game and they can be on the top of the list, without "actively being engaged with the trading" Therefore, the rank will be colored. That is the place active players look. If you like this game, I bet you will check the scoreboard from time to time and you won't miss the colored rank number. In general, posting once every month is enough to not suffer penalties

don't know, what do others think? I think when a player is with us for a long time, and he cheats (being under influence or not) but admits it, a small penalty is enough.

There are a lot of player, almost everybody, in red if we accept him back with a little penalty and no dismiss, it will be more convenient for someone to cheat then to play regularly, that could be the end of the game in my opinion

the red you are referring to is not a penalty of some sort (or has anything to do with activity check) it's just how they did in the game. Did they make any profit or not?

Did they make any profit or not? it is important not make cheating as viable option, imo if not complete kick then at least hefty penalty as something like 50% from your stack or 6 months off the game

Just a thought, and I am not in the game, so perhaps it is none of my business but ...
Why not allow him back with a small/no penalty, but now create a rule that is harsh enough to deter any future 'offenders'. Never really been a fan of retro-active 'laws', and he was self-confessed totally off his head at the time. Laugh this one off and move on as he got caught anyway and has not gained anything.

I agree (for the future), but both seem a bit harsh for a 'game'. Maybe 25% of balance so they at least have some chance to 'get back in' ?? 50% and they might aswell leave anyway. 6 months out and they probably won't come back. As for Fonzie how about he wears a badge of shame in his sig for a few months - something like Recipient of the 'Dnaleor Trading Simulator Foul Play award for Drunkards and Reprobates'

Personally I think some penalty should be given here, but not too harsh as I think it's better to keep as many people as possible in the game. It's just for fun after all. I would suggest a 10% penalty which is equivalent to one or two bad trades. Any future transgressions however should be met with immediate removal.

I was thinking 10% too, and this is a 'final warning'.

I was thinking 10% too, and this is a 'final warning'. Sounds more than fair to me, would love to be back in. I think I can handle my guilt and shame issues properly when I will make it finally to place 1 (soon..) ☺ If no one has anything against my participation, now or in the next few days, I would rejoin the game with a sell @ 227.72,

Sheet has been updated again. I also gave fonzie a 10% penalty and then executed his sell at 227.72 above. I think we should give him another chance since he's being honest and feels guilty about it. If anyone objects please speak up, otherwise welcome back fonzie and happy trading.

Personally i don't like it, we need serious penalty for players who cheat, a cheater cannot be back in the game in 1 day with a 10% penalty, it's almost nothing and internet is full of trolls, and anyway how can we know that he cheats only one time, he admitted it because it was clear, that's not guilty. I've got nothing against fonzie but if we leave one, others will follow

We just didn't have any rules in place against cheating before, because nobody thought it would be an issue. Now we have, so I don't think this will be a problem in the future. I also don't think the people who participate in this game come here to troll, this has been a very friendly thread in general so far. Let's make sure to keep it that way.

Any future offenders will be removed from the game immediately. Probably this rule should be put in the scoreboard.
