i just tried to send from my laptop running 32bit win vista, no joy on 400, 300 and 100 coin trys. i'm also getting tray popups saying incoming transaction amount 111.999500 - a few of them, various amounts, all different from what i tried to send.(and they don't show in the history tab) i've posted no adress from the lappy

I've also seen some popups that don't make sense at first... then I saw that each time there is a confirmation for a transaction (1/3, 2/3, etc...) a popup appears... when I send money, a popup appears with the balance amount as being received... no biggies, just observations...

No, You dont get confirmations about that. You get one confirmation per connected peer. So 4 connections means 4 confirmations. I

I am not sure mine is working correctly. It seems like I mined way too many coins over night compared to what I had mined the previous days. I also notice it says I have 0 connections but coins continue to mine and mint. Any ideas?
You are on your own blockchain. Update yor program and try again.

@john-connor I think the 200s blocktime is to much. Can it be reduced?

Sending large amounts of coins directly after staking MAY throw an error and is a known bug that will be fixed after launch. The good news is that Vanillacoin has auto-wallet recovery that runs 30 seconds after launch and every 24 hours thereafter to recover any coins that failed to send due to a possible "double spend" scenario. There is no need to run manual commands to fix/repair or recover a wallet as with Bitcoin and Peercoin. My intent is to make Vanillacoin "plain simple". Also, regarding the "notifications", yes the value may be incorrect and is just a simple GUI bug. Thank you for your support.

Testing is looking good with no major problems. Some minor bugs being reported that I already know about which will be fixed after launch. The release date is still firm. Thank you for your support.
