Bidders stinged on tx fees, now their transactions are stuck.

Yes, you noticed it too? What is going on?

It has a link text and what looks like a hash , then the outputs are weird. One input , 3 outputs with the first a micro payment, the second not having an actual address or amount,  the third returning the rest of the coins.

Meanwhile i have been advised to make the database GUI optional. Ideally a user just enters the address they want to see and results are displayed. Also GUI is already crowded using a one line retrieval will allow space for more useful stuff, like actually sending requests and managing accounts.

that sounds better. I clicked on some of the database headers such as Rawdata, Inputs, outputs, whatever and can easily see data. though entering a known address into ChainID and hitting submit does nothing. could be because of the bootstrap. will try a fresh sync and check again. also "choose address from address book" button crashed the wallet just fyi.

Does anyone support a change to sha256D? momentum is memory heavy , sha256D hashes can be produced easily by smaller power efficient machines such as rasberry pi

I also disagree.

The raspbery pi will mine for like a day or so before other rigs jump on it.

I can personally raise the difficulty so a raspberry will be useless.

Am I missing something? Why do I need coins to mine in the wallet? Or has the mining come to an end as it has been discussed in the past?

I know I gpu mined with the momentum algo quite a while ago.

you need 50,000bcr in 1 address to mine. its been that way for maybe 2 months. you also can not mine consecutive blocks. all miner addresses are accounted for, any blocks submitted either consecutive or from address less than 50k are rejected.

my fresh sync stopped at 45 hours behind. and both my banknodes which mined a block and were setgenerate true again after a few blocks eventually (not immediately) crashed and are now not syncing.
this is on the latest windows build.
they show the peers with a correct height, and they dont yell invalid block, but they refuse to advance.

It's a pity these innovations came later. He solved the pool issue, centralization, distribution and security without need for excessive hash power. If we switched to a less resource intensive algo, we would be awesome. Just think, with sha256, a single USB miner would be overkill. Instead of every BN having to get tons of hardware any individual or company could run it off something as cheap as a ras-pi.

I also tried syncing fresh and it stopped along the way, investigating showed the reason for the update, there is a difference between a new block and the active chain's tip and that was causing some unexpected behavior. Also the bidtracker was creating zero and null values when explorers were down or unconfirmed transactions were mucking up the math. i"m guessing he'll sort the logic later, right now it's best to bootstrap.

Now i'm just curious as to what he is doing, i saw an interesting tid-bit yesterday but his answer was vague.

I'm sure the dev already contacted them seeing as chainz is already on the right chain. I also sent a message though i never got a response.

I think this also emphasizes the dev pushing for users to contact other exchanges and express their interest. If you are a user and did not contact exchanges asking them to add BCR, then don't complain in future.

exchanges dont add coins with zero volume and a blockchain that needs to be sorted out frequently. A buunch of us pushed on polo c-cex cryptsy etc. meanwhile bittrex cant stay synced and every other day is zero volume.  cross your fingers bittrex doesnt delist, and when the wallets working like a charm then we can have nice things..

Until then i still cant sync fresh and i doubt exchanges would even want to use a bootstrap. 
I got the same error as Hack_ mentioned above.

The problem is the general scene, out of the existing 5000 plus coins, how many have active ongoing development? How many are just clones that are left to run in first gear? It has become ''normal" to have those 24/7/365 working chains because frankly, once the first bit is done, nothing else ever comes. Comparing dead projects (yes the chain may work, but they are dead in the water with regard to development and a future) to something that is going near constant revision and correction is unfair.

We have made so many changes and continuously correct  and resolve. I think we have to decide if we value progress or stagnancy. I don't release updates for hype like some coins, i update when i see an issue or have new parts of the system.

I think i stated that you should bootstrap....or did I? Don't try a fresh sync until after the next update, there was a conflict between new and accepted blocks that i resolved  in the last update but i have to revise the chain to see which rule is causing the freeze. No-one noticed the problem except me during review , the chain was moving, but not following the exact intended behavior, even hack_ noticed that we had strange blocks after i mentioned it.

The lack of volume is not an issue when it comes to listing, we could throw together a ton of fake volume. Look at the same exchanges and see how many of their listed coins have 0 volume for weeks on end.

I can understand the issue , but lets be honest. Just try listing the number of advances bcr has over others.

Guys, there is a working AUCTION on the blockchain. Send a tiny amount of btc, sit back and watch the coins pile up....Where else have you seen this? If that weird tx i saw is any indication , then even more is coming.

I think we should also consider making our market PAID FOR, that way we need not worry about this anymore.
