Nice graphics but old logo looks better it's almost a trademark already, new one is unreadable and too complicated.
Can we have both of two worlds?

Sad story of most coins, once the pump is over. Luckily BCR never had a pump, its a low lying gem.

I am in favour of the new graphics if we can have them in as many colors as we have themes.

Yes there was a short pump, lasted like 2 days or something.
We are now at 0.00000181 and I remember we were at 0.00004 or something. So it's x22 lower Smiley
For a moment I was wondering if we are going lower than doge... Seriously this coin is like the most undervalued coin in crypto lol.

how come windows users havent said anything about the sqlite thing ? Do you prefer to see the tables or should i shave down the interface?
Im a bit confused as to what im seeing.
On a non basenode: there is a dropdown of RAWDATA, PEERS, BLOCK, sqlite_sequence. If you click on something you can easily overtype the data (oops anyone want to tell me what unix time for block 2 was?)
RAWDATA is blank for me
PEERS is blank for me
BLOCKS shows the block height, hash, and miner of each block
sqlite_sequence shows current block height
----inputting an address to use the ChainID results in nothing happening.

On a basenode: there are dropdowns for RAWDATA, PEERS, TRUSTRATINGS, TRANSACTIO..., sqlite_sequence, BLOCKS, OUTPUTS, INPUTS
(since my basenode was not synced from scratch for the list only extends for the last ~4000 blocks)
RAWDATA address data tallys of #transactions, total coins in/out, balance
PEERS is blank for me
TRUSTRATINGS is blank for me
TRANSACTIO... shows 3 hashes and their blockheights
sqlite_sequence shows current blockheight, and probably pending transactions + pending total outputs
BLOCKS shows block height, hash, and miner of each of the 4000 blocks this wallet has seen
OUTPUTS likely listing details of the pending total outputs tx included in,, address, ammt, and offset
INPUTS is blank for me
----inputting an address to use the ChainID results in nothing happening.

TL/DR:
sqlite is able to take the blockchain data and parse it nicely, but the trust of an address can not yet be determined inside the wallet.

Recommend:
data should not be editable without an extra step to avoid errors if the data should even be allowed to be edited.
need writeup on what to expect/how to interpret data in the database.
need CHAINID to accept address and return results

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

Ideally would be to to divide wallet to simple and advance mode.
In simple mode hide all info that avarage joe doesn't need.

It was in the range of 300 satoshis, then the next day moved to 700 so I said to myself let's sell now.
Big mistake... The next day it was in the range of 3k.
Did not crying, I make a profit.
At least now I have much more than I hope.
It wasn't an artificial pump though... It was the first days of the banknotes working and there was a true demand.

Heh... a little btc injection.

I'm sure there were other players involved, but I'd do it again if 8-bit hadn't rekt me so hard.

BCR at this price is a bargain by anyone's definition.

Hell, just look at the github.  A lot of development is taking place, almost every day.

In 2016, only the strongest of coins will survive, and I believe BCR will be one of those.

Part 2

image
I like the logo, but i dont think we need a wall of image text. its something i dont like about the current announce. and google wont pick up the text if its in an image so it may be hurting us in the long run. I do have a 16 page writeup on how to use and setup many parts of the bitcredit wallet environment including a full type up of the OP trust engine text, etc. It needs tweaking before i can release it here.

Not directed at Osmiumcoin dev:
Folks, especially newcomers to the thread theres been a lot of great work getting us to this point which is definitely deserving of your hype and or appreciation. lets stay slightly on topic. we need anyone with a banknode or input of 50,000BCR or mroe to get your wallets synced and start mining the chain has been stalling every 10-20 blocks for day(s) on end. We are waiting on a fix for the windows users who are mining without paying bidders. once the chain is smooth the roadmap includes a ton of stuff. seriously click on everything in the wallet (including the 3 hidden tabs under utilities) and if you cant get it to crash ill let you folks talk about the price til the end of time.

What is the easiest way to mine using a windows PC?
1.) Own 50,000BCR
2.) Put 50,000 in an address you control
3.) Run and sync your wallet. make sure it matches https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bcr/#
4.) Create a text document inside your data directory and rename it to miningkeys.dat inside this document place the address you own containing 50,000BCR
5.) In your wallet go to debug console and type "setgenerate true 1"

note:
you can change the 1 to any number of cores youd like to use to mine. the diff on this coin is extremely low so it doesnt take much to mine a block

also note:
once you solve a block the miner will turn off. the address is inelegible as collateral to mine against for the next 40 blocks. Once the 40 blocks have passed type "setgenerate false" before inputting "setgenerate true 1" again

Thanks for the clear instructions. I hope this isn't the only way to mine BCR however, since it seems to require a lot of manual intervention.

If you have to change "setgenerate" after 40 blocks since your miner finds a block every time, who is going to sit there and watch their miner every minute of every day? I suppose you could automate the process with some system scripts, but not everyone is going to know how to do that.

Anyway I finally have my basenodes updated, reconfigured, and synched up with Chainz, woohoo  Cool

if you setup and use YAM miner or Pts-getwork miner linked form the OP they will submit until you run out of valid addresses in miningkeys.dat and go idle. you will see in your debid.log that they are requesting connectblock but that there are no keys available. so once the keys are available again they will start hashing and submitting.

Lots of surprises and fixes to old problems coming with the next update....we are already working towards ver 0.30.20.x

Miners:- highly recommended that you use an external miner, i am working on the internal miner issue, just swamped is all.

Everyone with 50K+ BCR :-  you'd be doing yourself a favour by setting up a BN and letting it accumulate time and money as well as increase it's "solved block" count. All this adds up nicely to your overall trust rating and unlocks a whole new world of features as well as giving you better access to loans, insurance and investment opportunities.

Let's all have our say about the graphics and make a decision. This will also affect our image as a whole so it's a priority.

Bids:- Starting maybe tonite we will begin testing the new 24h period, backed by a vps running a script that clears bids @ 00:00 GMT

BCR now has over 1 BTC backing. Which isn't much, but it's 1 BTC more than anyone else has. Cheesy
