purpose of this is to defeat burning money in electricity your miner consumes. instead you bid and that goes into a fund backing your minted BCR with real BTC used for BCR infrastructure etc. (to be decided) Only a portion of the block reward goes into that though but it is the larger percentage of each block for bidders.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Best policy for bidding is to bid @ 00:01 GMT.  You can even write an automatic dumb script for it.  Better yet,  you can pay me  1 BTC to write you a custom script that checks the price,  checks the time and calculates if a bid makes sense and does so automatically.

For example,  it always starts with a 0.01 bid,  after an hour,  it calculates how much is going to bidders,  checks the time and decides if an additional bid would be profitable.  If so it sends a bit more. You can customize the variables such as what % profit it will consider viable,  what initial bid to make and the time frames.

A smarter trader would add another script that sends the bcr to bittrex.com and sells, then withdraw btc to your bidding address.  Essentially a profit loop.

Also system like that once fully tested,  wouldn't need intervention ever again.

Wallet doesn't compile with libboost v.1.58 Cry

see my pull request here (was made for spreadcoin) but basically same idea:

https://github.com/spreadcoin/spreadcoin/pull/14

I know this problem and immediately corrected:
Code:
-                const CScriptID& hash = boost::get<const CScriptID&>(address);
+                const CScriptID& hash = boost::get<CScriptID>(address);

There are problems with the linking the shared library:
Code:
*** Warning: Linking the shared library libbitcreditconsensus.la against the
*** static library libbitcredit_common.a is not portable!
/usr/bin/ld: libbitcredit_common.a(libbitcredit_common_a-allocators.o): relocation R_X86_64_PC32 against symbol `_ZTVN5boost16thread_exceptionE' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC
/usr/bin/ld: final link failed: Bad value
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

Options -fPIC or -fPIE do not correct the error.

My OS - Ubuntu Wily

even if you did bitcredits is just a name, claiming back a name is not as easy as claiming the code which was created by this dev alone.i do not see any evidence of it being yours

Hello

Once i again, i call on users to join slack, that is where most of the discussions are held now and it acts as a faster more direct method of communication.

There is to be a major shift aimed at increasing efficiency as well as introduction of new ideas, implementation of existing ones and perfection of those already in the code.

We have an extensive marketing problem and i'd like to ask the community to chip in , in that regard, myself , dragos and at times tlc are buried too deep in code to do any form of marketing.

There have been offers of paid campaigns, but i would much rather rely on the community than to pay for external advertising.

As for the above claim.....lol, you didn't even bother to post source code.

Dear Sir or ma'am? Sorry to inform you but I seem to have locked up the chain at least the viable one that connects to bittrex. Sorry for the inconvenience but it doesn't seem like the chain can actually carry the extra transaction data.

Well! Check out the account that created the thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=412591.0 at January 12, 2014, 07:46:23 PM, well isn't that me? Oh yes, so it is, and as for the VanityWallets account, that also belongs to me? Do you have another argument for stealing someone elses idea...? Tut tut.

So as you can see this account is quite an old one, anything else you wish to add. Should be worth noting that just because something is publicised online, the intellectual property of ideas, naming conventions do actually belong to other people. Never mind some people are too lazy to make up their own!

Correction

This is Bitcredit not Bitcredit(s)

Perhaps a spelling lesson is in order ?

And forget the whole older account business, its meaningless since people buy those all the time.
