People wondering. The plan per slack is to move to a new blockchain with a snapshot of all the balances. So the new client and code will take care of the renames. There's plenty of details to still figure out and opinions and ideas are welcome so get to slack!

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

I can never figure out slack.

People that post here bump the thread, that's free advertising.

Slack as a dev channel...yep. I get that. Slack as community engagement?  if you can find a way to cross post the general slack thread to here, then this thread will 100% get bump. bump. bump.

Until then, I'm happy to post around these parts, I like talking to myself anyway, I find the quality of the conversation is highly agreeable.

Ooh, look at that...I bumped myself to the top of the altcoin thread

edit..

and the thread view count went up by like more than 10 views:

That's probably the same as $5 of clicks on Google AdWords, but for freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

..

Come to think of it...what exactly is this thread advertising in its header?

A few easy tweaks and we can get BCR up into $300k marketcap area in no time at all.

Plus Azure, and we're good to go for $xm

good features were built in when this was at 3000sats but it got dumped to a low of 50sats. ofcourse people bought and now are hyping it. good stuff here but cant see this making past 1000sats it will eventually die down. if it were the only one out there doing this it be a different but it aint. good luck but after joining slack its obvious there are only a handful of people pulling the strings

you planned not to sell 6million to one person great i like that but one guy bought 3million and im betting he has atleast another 3million others have similar holdings making this coin not distributed very well so i cant see it being adopted this coin tried to work but it didnt.

there are other coins with talented devs and as low as this.

just go through the history on slack and see why you might make a bit but thr risk outweighs the reward, sell side is thin but alot of the coins are sitting on the bench waiting to be dumped once they see the buy orders

Decent analysis lockpi but the coins been 100-300 sat for a looooong time. The features when it was 3k never worked so well and the chains been a nightmare since last fall while dev was trying some different methods to get to a low power mining solution. Of course a 40k market cap coin that's been discussed very limited in the past 6 months will have bad distrbution. Look at rads. Seemed dead for months slack went from 20 people to 200 and the market cap went from similar to over a million once the features planned were finally completed. Re distribution happened all the way up

Ah, other coins with similar features. Great. Competition is healthy.

I bet few have experience with interacting with the real world of financial services, but you'll read about that in the near future.

youl need a pumper like the one on rads who took it from 2k to 100k sats. without it not expecting anything here. unless those 6-7 guys on slack who own alot of the coin wont dump on each other this will be a nice pump but not counting on it. rads is one step better than FCT that what made it easy to fly.  BCR no offence to the hard work done isnt the best to whats already out there ofcourse it can compete but its about profit in the end for the most of investors. if you think the guy with 6million coins wont dump when or if it does reach 1000sats value 60btc then buy

The thing is this:

P2P lending is actually of interest to real world investors right now. They are falling over themselves to invest in new P2P platforms.

I've been looking to get into this sector for about 5 years, so I've been keeping track of things. When I first started looking it was too early to get in, now its just about right. Plenty of real world hype building up, but its still early enough to make a mark and create a niche.

I posted about China and the huge amount of money being invested in funding deposits. This is a big issue in plenty of markets and very few have a model which China has shown to work.

The one big issue that investors worry about is people not repaying loans. That's where BCR now has a USP that no other crypto project has - I can get BCR loans backed by a debt collection agency.

The one thing that BCR really needs to do to get the booster rockets ready for lift off, and it sort of has nearly done this is.....is - no, wait.

Now that would be telling. Guess you'll have to just wait to hear about that one.

Doubt anyone with 6 mil is only looking for 3x on something that's been "dead?" For months. And the features don't work yet so price is low. That's why I invested. I can see the features becoming complete and from there who knows.

"Websites that bypass the banks by matching up savers with borrowers are taking off in a big way."

Rupert Jones, The Guardian

What is peer-to-peer lending?

Decentralized financial matchmakers; money matching individual borrowers or firms with savers and investors hunting for better returns on the money the lend.

As the banks in the middle are cut out, borrowers get lower rates; and savers or investors get much better rates and returns on their investment.

And with Central Banks now setting negative interest rates, why would you pay someone to hold your money when you can charge people to put it to good productive use?

Lending is carefully monitored to ensure both borrowers and lenders can enjoy the benefits of decentralized lending for many years to come. Borrowers are credit checked and rated according to risk. If there are problems with payment then our debt collection partners chase the debts on lenders behalf - so there's no legwork to worry about. It's all taken care of.

Agree about the title, current one is a bit informationally lacking...

"BITCREDIT - P2P BLOCKCHAIN LENDING AND FINANCE - UPDATE TO 0.30.19.8 - BITCREDIT 2.0 COMING SOON!"

Hooking up with a real world kneecapping outfit never occurred to me...  Cheesy

OP does need a revamp, we'll see what we can come up with for v2.0 if not before.
