What is Bitsquare?

Bitsquare is built for those who:

Philosophy

    Exchanges play a critical role in the bitcoin ecosystem. Without them, it would be nearly impossible to buy or sell bitcoins for euros, dollars,
    yen or yuan. Bitcoin would be a market without liquidity; bitcoin would be worthless.

    Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin with the motivation to solve the problems of centralized payment systems
    so it seems inconsistent that centralized Bitcoin exchanges are still the primary way to acquire bitcoins.
    In our opinion the dominance and vulnerability of centralized exchanges is the Achilles heel in the current Bitcoin ecosystem.

There have been many discussions in the forums about how to build a pure P2P based solution but there is still no real decentralized bitcoin exchange available yet.


That’s where Bitsquare comes in.

    We have developed a solution which is based on pure P2P infrastructure.
    While the transfer of national currency requires the involvement of traditional payment channels like banks or payment processors,
    we are not dependent on any particular one. Their role is limited to what it should be:
    They transfer national currency. No power of censoring, confiscating, monitoring or controlling your financial interaction.

I would reinstall the full installer with Blockchain and then upgrade it to the newest version and then sync the rest of the Blocks.

Dont act too fast, because the erc network push often ur wallet to the right chain. Often after one day, you r on the right chain.

O.K. lets progress,








updates about federated blockchains are in its own thread (link in the OP / here on the first page of the thread)
so lets continue with EUROPECOIN, we managed to make it working, now we are preparing it for a long future,
by making it stronger. We will give it a new Blocktime of 4 minutes and make an upgrade of the POS engine,
the VPOS-Engine did not make us happy. There are more advance solutions out today, so we will upgrade.

This is what we like to do.
I am telling this, to give you a chance, to share your opinion NOW,
so we can continue our work.

He is constantly stepping forward, ERC is one of those, with an ongoing development process now,
exactly what was missing before and people will see that in the long run,
so you are right in that term, i guess. But the price will stay that cheap just exactly until i cashed out my lisk.
This will happen somewhere in the next 2/3 hours. If you didn't get them then, I will.

One-Sentence-Roadmap and Side Projects





Some nice news whats happening around us. We are slowly connecting the dots.
Our Staisybit platform developed into a CURRENCY APPLICATIONS CLOUD PROVIDER with FEDERATION READY GATEWAY API
and will contribute to the Federated Blockchains codebase as well.
Steve and I are currently taking over the (virtually not existing) customer support, witch was suffering badly and was a burden,
that kept Alberto from doing the things he liked to do. We allow everybody to JUST follow his passion, if you don't like a job, don't do it.
Unpassioned jobs are bad jobs, not bad people.

A short technical trading-input for the interested ERC-buyer:

You actually see almost 4 millions ERC on the sellside. Its an awesome buyopportunity, because:

1. you can buy huge amounts of coins;

2. big sellorder in the presentation means, a big player or a big group jumped in ---> its now squeezing-time;

3. an old ERC-Holder dont believe in our projects and wanna cash out (yeah, painful, but why we should sort out this possibility?)

4. its a beartrap to reach more cheap ERC;

My feeling? 2.
