I see why now no more S5 for sell the buy button is grayed out i know I'm gonna wait now , screw trying to get the shipping dropped, just wait .

Same here currently "ANTMINER S5 BATCH 5" is greyed out on buy for me aswell.

Maybe they release the s6 Smiley

Shows that you can buy it again from store.

maybe they had to restock it .

it does say for this batch, maybe the site went down restock .

This is the last round of production for AntMiner S5, and Batch 5 will be the second-to-last batch of S5 units to be sold. if i understand that right a batch 6 then no more S5 ?.

I jumped the gun they pulled my chain with what they did.

In other words "I read in a thread somewhere that somebody said that they heard that Bitmain said that a new miner should be available in July 2015 - it is July 9th now, 'about to' is probably pretty close".  As opposed to new solid information Smiley

What is the link no disrespect ?
Try this one, it's old information: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1003216.0

It's a pretty good indicator when Bitmain shuts of S5 sales. They are not going to build more knowing the S7 is imminent.

I thought when they ran out of stock on Hashnest they were going to move forward to the S7, then they listed around 2k more! Hopefully once this stock sells out we get some S7 info.

I would be highly surprised if they raise it again.   There is just a point people will not buy, or kills sales.

I think they have reached their "happy place" on price with current BTC price and expect to see it sit around current.  Again all my guess could be wrong.

It was surprising when it rose from $320 to $340, then even more surprising when it rose from $340 to $360. But who'd have thought they'd raise it again from $360 to $378? It has to be noted here that the latter two price rises were parallel to rises in BTC value of similar magnitude to the one being currently experienced.
And don't forget, bitmain have no shame at all in changing (raising) the price several times in a matter of hours .... let alone any bigger timespan. So take to your confort zone of believing they are in the so called happy place on your own (and at your peril!).

I'm going to guess they don't.  Again I could be wrong.

We should get a good sense soon though.  We hit a decent percent up on BTC value.  And China will be working time in not long so I would guess we know early hour's of China time.

He's right, the S5 price very roughly tracks the exchange rate so it could be adjusted at any time.

Not that I needed to be affirmed by a fraudster, but yeah, re-stating what I said ..... not sure what threshholds bitmain use, but I shall not be surprised at all if price went up today (should the BTC rate continue to appreciate).

Ok aside sh*ting on Bitmain which I understand. I played around with some compressed PVC panels and results are pretty good. Fan on front is Delta TFC1212 5500 rpm.

And with this setup it does not matter if internet connection is lost or pool is not working there is no chance to burn anything...

Bitmain right now.

All trolling aside, Bitmain, I might suggest in the future, you just do away with USD pricing altogether. Set your pricing to EITHER Bitcoin or USD, and quit your shenanigans.

It's just bad business raising the USD price. It's obvious you are trying to peg USD to some sort of BTC cost for the S5's, and it's making you out to look shamelessly and wantonly greedy.
