FindCoin is going to closed code at least till the end of coin distribution.

Really? https://github.com/FindYouCoin/FindYouCoin

They said so: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=902836.0

Last post:
I guess we've decided on closed source code for the distribution period - 1) we are voted in this poll to close the sourcecode; 2) thanks to Quadmium, we have now working wallets for Ubuntu and CentOS, so no Linux enthusiast would feel abandoned with FindCoins  Smiley

Any additional suggestions?  Smiley

It's the same code, it's the same coin, they just haven't updated GitHub on the new location yet:

No offense, but it's hard to believe this is true. You haven't been using bitcoinj or any other cryptocurrency java library in your code at all? This just is not right and should be reported to moderators if you keep your stance of not following licence obligations. Feel free to decide if you are going to be 100% legal or not, but it has great impact how the community will treat you.

Hey itod,

None taken Cheesy
And I stand behind what I said that everything was written by us.
We understand licensing, but we didn't use bitcoinj or any other cryptocurrency java library so there are no license obligations for us to follow.

We strive to be honest and legit.

I don't know why it's a big deal to make something without a library.
Using libraries are just paradigms of Object Oriented Programming, which is to use code that has already been written by someone else. And don't get me wrong that's awesome Cheesy
I'm a student of computer science, not just a programmer.
Oh, and if you ask me I would program everything in Assembly because it's blazing fast and interesting to code. But there is a place and time for low level languages like Assembly and also high level ones like C++ and Java. Cheesy

Best regards, Srele from MangoCoinz.

I think the interesting idea.
From what I read the installation and made the phone and not on the computer so do not think so important code on github. I have seen many coins with open source and in the end be a scam.
Now if it will be worth something only time will tell.

Of course it can be closed source, i imagine they created it from scratch just as Srele says. rewards from accelerometer and sync events are not hashes in a blockchain. im sure theyre just recorded in amount, added to the tally and some ledger with username is stored on their server. (excuse me if this is in no way how it works, it is in the least a super oversimplification of the process)

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

They went public, showed their faces, wrote the app from scratch who give a damn fuck if they show the source or not its their own work and they don't feel like having som1 else come in and steal the credit because they do not have the marketing power yet to spread their app to a wider public.

Im in on this one and will keep supporting new techs.

Hey unusualfacts30,

There is no limit to how many coins you can mine, just how many you can sync.
At the moment you can sync a max of 10 MCZ/day. When you sync and you have more coins to sync then the limit, then those coins will get cut off.

I just ran check on your username (that you PMed it to me the other day) and everything is as it should be Cheesy

Hey fulcare,

We're all in the same boat. We're all waiting for the exchange Cheesy
The developers at UseCryptos.com said that they should get it done by the end of this week. Well, it's still not the end, there's still tomorrow.
Last Sunday and Monday they really worked hard, so maybe they will also work hard tomorrow Cheesy

Yep, that's the idea Cheesy
But soon it will be more difficult to get the coins and we will proportionally lower the daily sync limit.

well you could go to that link but ill save you the trouble of refreshing this page a bunch of times waiting for an answer. 900 satoshis for 100 mangocoins is an offer, and 500 satoshi for 10k mangocoins and theres an undisclosed PM offers for a user as well.  lowest sell is 40 coins at 10,000 satoshi

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

It's not smart to sell yet. Wait till it hits exchange and mining difficulty increases to 1 coin/day.  Grin
