Did a simple revamp of the UI, if the devs are interested I can keep working on it and send it there way when it's done. I plan to make it transition (for the most part) as simply as possible from the old to the new so they can focus more time on the actual coding. You guess have any suggestions/input/whatever? The news/transactions/receive fragments aren't done yet, just placeholders for now.      (I only used my icon because I could. Don't mean to seem like I'm pushing it on you guys) |

I can try recolouring it whatever you'd like but honestly I feel the orange is a bit of an eyesore. It's maybe too intense as it is against a white background. Just my two cents. @blakeaholics, those looked really sweet by the way.

Thanks for all the feedback, guys! Yup, colours are very easily changed to suit the old design more. You can follow the project here: https://github.com/blakeaholics/MangoCoinz and even build it yourself. Simply install Android studio, the SDK tools for Android 4.2 and import the project. Development may slow down come March as I'm directing my first film and it will demand all of my attention. Little update:   I'm not going to force anything on the guys at MangoCoinz, I promise, but I just want to offer them the idea of what the app could be with a little more polish and adhering to the OS' design guidelines (I mean they were created for a reason, right?  ). |

If you guys have some more ideas I'd love to help out, or even if you just have questions about Android UI stuff. I have a very limited knowledge of iOS development so I'll be no help there. Again, I don't mean to seem like I'm forcing anything on you guys; I just like the idea of the project and want to help however I can. |

From a business perspective, following UI guidelines would definitely be more enticing From a user perspective, being used to most apps that follow UI guidelines yet look good, given 2 choices and an open vote, blakes design would probably win by a big margin (no hard feelings, just an honest opinion) Well, i have mixed feelings about this two designs. First of all i like them both and i wouldn't say that blakes one will win by a big margin(at least from my perspective, maybe by a slight margin). For blakes design i like combination of colors of the top green bar and logo, it fits rly well with logo, but is still question how it would look with another one. Overall design are simple and it is probably greatest advantage of it. While other devs design, are more comlicated but i wouldn't say it is far from UI guidelines. Maybe i am using some other sort of software or idk what is wrong . From this two i would definitly choose green one(i mean two of dev designs). While if choosing from blakes and dev ones is hard to answer. As a guy who do like simple interface, and do not care about look too much, probably i would prefer blakes one. But i think it depends, and some would definitly choose devs one. Its like devs one is cool to look at, but blakes is more likely to be used. I hope you keep work on interface and make something rly cool |

Finished the theme selector in my spare time today! Settings are almost fully functional. If you guys want to stop posting this stuff just let me know.Changing themes (only two themes as of right now, going to add dark variants)  Improved contacts: Add/Remove works, need to work on editing  The orange looks off now look at it, any palettes you guys can recommend? Best regards, Srele from MangoCoinz. i really dig the simplicity. blackaholics is quite nice. but does have too much information. simple is good with mixed size phones. so small phones is easy to read. and it's an app that isnt meant to do much other than be a wallet so simplicity of use in the wild is very importatnt.. those big buttons create the easy look/handling feel |
