I can confirm that yobit actually did get back to me via pm eventually and is in the middle of sorting my situation out, apparently they updating wallets soon.

That's interesting. I saw someone on meta where a Yobit employee also supported (mellon) that someone which he testify the staked btc address belongs to mellon. Its something we never really saw before, have they hired someone who actually do the right thing?

We ve been trading on yobit for about a month. When news came about scamming we withdraw all funds with no problem.
Our dev says that their api is quite good and stable comparing to other exchanges, where we also do the trading (polo, bitrex, bfinex, livecoin..) so we are satisfied with their service, although there was no response from their support team for over 4 days.

Since there are quite a few posts here and twitter bout the recent events we would like to hear official statement from them what happened so we can decide if we start trading there again.

yobit is the worst site with the worst support ever. i am very sorry about your lost, you may will be able to recover your lost, but you will need several month. youbit support is working in this way.

if you have strong nerves, you can try and wait for recover, else, i advice you to forget about it.

Seriously, this exchange is a pure SCAM: DCR wallet has been offline (maintenance as they say) for nobody knows how long for!
It's impossible to withdraw any funds from them.

Yet they keep saying that they need to update their wallet. WHAT? Update wallet? Last version was released a month ago!

The situation is PATHETIC. Never gonna deal with this exchange ever again and strongly advise you not too! There're much better places than this piece of SCAM.
