Yobit down? What's going on?

It is not down, maybe it's just you or your browser have a problem. Try to clear the cache and if still doesn't work just refresh your browser. If the problem still occurs, try to change the browser you are using. And with the last resort, try to reset your modem and if problem still insist go contact your ISP already.

Definitely not down for me, not sure what you guys are smoking

It's a normal thing that there are people experiencing this type of down but it's not with yobit right now. Upon checking everything seems to be fine and there's no need for a support to call. This is probably a case for his computer or his internet connection.

http://www.isitdownrightnow.com You can use this for future references, that way you can see if it is just you that can’t reach yobit or is it closed for everyone. You can use it for any website in general, does help a lot when you are worried that the website you have Money on might be gone or maybe its just you.

I have been trying to withdraw Decred for over a week now but the wallet says it is Under Maintenance. From other posts in this forum it appears that the wallet has been down since January. About 50% of my coins which I have got from faucets are also "Under Maintenance". My messages to support and PMs to the admin have been completely ignored. This site is a scam.

If I have this problem, I sell the coin transfer to DOGE and withdraw to another exchange and buy the coins back again (hoping to make some arbitrage in the middle), not a great solution but it may at least help you get your money out. I had the same issue with my EGC

Let's make a list of coins that you know are in maintenance and for about how long. Just cut and paste and add to the list.

Coxst, down since December (wallet works 100%, 22-30 clients on it at all times 24/7)
Ponz2, up for one block and then in maintenance from a day to a month, then up one block
Ponz, down since January

ION is down for month now.
The coin is very active and reached up to 80 BTC volume on Bittrex.
Dev´s contacted Yobit several times with no reaction. My support tickets are not answered.
I heard that dozens of wallets are in maintenance too. This whole thing seems to run into nothing good.

@yobit when will i be able to withdrawal my ION?

That comes with the exchange fee costs and extra withdrawal fee tough, they should do their job and if they accept deposit than they should accept withdrawals as well. If they fail to do one they should fail to do both.
Otherwise its just fishy sounding stuff to me to make people go around a loop hole in order to withdraw.

Exactly, how can they allow deposits into a wallet that is under maintenance?

I'm going to end up paying a fee to buy the Decred, a fee to transfer it to another currency, then another fee to withdraw. Should I attempt to contact the Decred devs?

And why would you try to contact Decred's devs? All they can do is only contacting yobit's support which will only have a slightly (if none at all) better chance of getting response from yobit's admin. My suggestion is trying to do what Starmman do... although it is costly, but at least you'll get your coin.

Are you mad?

Do you want to see your wallet in constant "maintanance" while these scammers steal all your users coins?

Use a legit exchange - avoid this place at all costs!!.

Because that's what they do.

List a shitcoin.
Accept deposits.
Put wallet in "maintanance" for ever.
Keep users deposits.

It's called stealing.

Yea, its a shady place where coins die.

They recently failed to upgrade EGC.... every other exchange and users did it without any problems.
They recently desynched COXST.. lacking the skills of running a wallet and doing resynchs.

They should hire someone knowing basic tech...
It seems neither Warden nor Blacksmith are able to do a basic resynch.

Wise move. I withdrew everything from Yoshit some months ago, apart from what they stole from me & is sitting in their wallets that are in constant "maintanance" mode for months on end. I still have multiple ignored & unanswered tickets open with them that I update every now & again in the hope they will eventually return what they stole, but I'm sure I'll never see my coins again.

Best I can do is warn everyone else about this con outfit. Not much of a payback, but if it stops even one user getting ripped off, it's all good.
