I'm just wondering, does GP have a Discord? I think it would be just as good as a telegram group as Discord is more to do with gaming which is what GP is all about.

Good to see you in here inkha, do you have a roadmap ready for 2018 or any news you have regarding the project and where you would like to see it by the end of 2018?

If there's interest I can setup either telegram or discord for sure.

I am working on a refined road map for 2018 and will update the community,

I think either of the two would be great for GP, there seems to be more interest in telegram nowdays so maybe that might be the best option for now. I myself prefer Discord but can never find the time to join them all lol. I'm looking forward to seeing the updated roadmap for 2018 as I think it could be a big year for GP.

Hello

Can someone please post the full contents of their goldpieces.conf file?

Mine does not seem to work. I keep getting 0 connections no matter what I try, and I have tried different versions by now and with different nodes.

So if someone has an active wallet with a working goldpieces.conf file that provides connections, then please help by posting the contents here.

Thank you in advance.

I actually had the same problem not long ago where my wallet was working perfectly and then the next day my wallet was out of sync and I had no active nodes so I just used the ones from Cryptopia and Coinexchange and that seemed to do the trick. Here are the nodes I have in my .conf file so I hope they help you out mate. Good luck!

I usually have 2 - 4 connections, too.
GP really needs a new wallet and better looking logo.
The wallet is using way too much ram(over 0.8g of ram and it splits any stack over 20 coins when it stakes) and the logo looks like from Windows 3.xx era. Grin

Due to connection issues DKV2 withdrawals for GP will be temporarily delayed until such time as coins are available to be sent.

You're welcome!

I do think that we need a new wallet with a much better interface as this current wallet it outdated now. If the dev can also make it a lite weight wallet it would be great as like greenhope said this current wallet does use up a lot of ram and can make people's computers run slow.

Wow, I have seen a developer who has worked hard for so long and is still developing for the perfection of the project, expecting good things to come. After all, there are so many supporters. Grin

I have now been a supporter of GP for over 1 year now and I'm just wondering how everything is going with the project developments? Maybe the dev could release a 2018 roadmap so we know what might be coming this year. I knew when I got into GP that it was a long term project but I would like to see some updates even now and then on where the project is currently at.

It would be great to see more developments coming, mainly pertaining to the wallet.

Right now GP hasn't gotten to the condition that HYPER had gotten to before it was upgraded but its right there on the brink of it. Wallet takes forever to load and sync and uses a massive amount of computer resources when it is running. Right now my GP wallet is on a computer by itself and when its running I can barely use the computer for anything else.

Hopefully something is done about that soon, current wallet isn't very business friendly anymore.

Yes I agree we need something to change with the current wallet as like you said and a few others it uses up too many resources when compared to a year ago. I can't run it 24/7 like I used to anymore and just run it a few hours a day once the staking weight has built up so it take less then an hour to earn a stake. Hopefully the dev can come up with a lighter wallet that uses less ram as that seems to be the main resource that has skyrocketed in the past year.

GoldPieces is scheduled for removal from DKV2 services on May 1, 2018, if you have GP in game please withdraw it as soon as possible. Any GP remaining in game on May 1, 2018 will be considered a donation.

Still no news from the dev? I just hope he is okay. GP has so much potential going for it however we need the dev to be more active working on the project. I'm patiently waiting for that day to come and while I wait, I have been staking and building my stack ready for that day to arrive.
