Here's a trusted ponzi:

- Declare your own funds and hand them over to a trusted escrow for insurance (For example 10BTC)
- When unpaid deposits reach the insurance amount (10 BTC), you freeze the current round and pay all unpaid deposits with escrowed BTC
- Start new round with fresh deposits

You only make money from fees

This seems like a nice idea too. AS long as you don't get any big deposits in a small time frame,  the 10 BTC don't have to be refunded and can continue with further rounds, as long as 10 BTC is never in the wallet.
But, a drawback would be, that ponzis continue for over 48 hours at time. The escrow will have to monitor the address all the time, which would not be easy to manage.

Or some system could be hard-coded in ponzi site that will automatically freeze the round when the insurance amount is met with unpaid deposits.

I think using escrow is a great option to start-off. But, I am planning to pay out daily... hence escrow will be a bit of a blockage from normal functioning.

Daily payout ? LoLz... then how will u run away with our money ? Cheesy

On a serious note, how about showing us what you are developing on ?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Sorry to say it guys, but I think I have come up with the perfect "Ponzi Game". It's so perfect in fact, that by design, there is no way I could ever (even if I wanted to) run away with more than 0.25BTC.

Add to that the fact that NOONE - and I mean NOONE (including myself) - knows which 70/100 shares of the game will pay out at 125% until the game is over.

You might ask how that's possible...

Take a look and you will see...

Your game is not a ponzi game at all. It is just a raffle/lottery where u can at most run away with the highest amount. Now, u have kept the highest amount low (0.0025*100) to gain trust... if U can gather momentum, you'll gather more and then run away. Nothing innovative about it.

Every scammer says so...

Tell me how it could be better?  There is an inherent level of risk in any game of change, but given you know how it will impact you, there is no better game.

That is the point. In any kind of bitcoin business, there is a risk involved for the customer. If a merchant/service provider is saying, there is no risk, he/she is simply lying and should be avoided.

there is always a risk and please dont say that you dont cheat, because we all know sooner or later your ponzi game will be dying and you will prolly shut down your site and take the leftover from your game

Hello... After taking the community feedback about how a transparent Ponzi Game should be, I have built a demo version of the game. It is now available at www.CrazyPonzi.com. As it is a demo, you can not deposit or withdraw any bitcoin for now, but you can play. To play, we are giving 1 BTC of play money at each sign up. Please note that, it is not withdrawable and before we launch our operation, we will make all balances to Zero. The site is still under development. But, for the sake ease in testing the demo, I am stating the rules over here...

1. Every round starts with a random investment by the system between 0.0005 BTC to 0.005 BTC.

2. Every round has a random return % between 110% to 200%.

3. Every round has a random investment window between 1 Hour to 10 Hour, within which a new player should invest. As soon as a new player invest, the countdown clock restarts again.

4. Every next player's invest will payout its previous investor and hence only the last person looses.

5. System will take 1% on every return. That is where system gets profitable.

6. Once the withdrawal is allowed, a player can withdraw his earning even before the round is over. Withdrawal will take place once in every day.

I have tried to cover all the points that are coming to my mind for now. If any part of the game is not clear to you, please do ask out. I'll update the site's FAQ with your Qs.

Apart from the leftover, ponzis owners are known to take the last few deposits . As they know, that that is the only way for them to profit.

Please check point 5 of the above post. I have explicit profit mechanism inside the game itself. Please try out the demo at www.crazyponzi.com and let me know your feedback. Its free to try...

I dont understand #4 here I think. Lets say its a 200% round (which should double). If we further assume Fixed deposit amounts:

#1 invests 1 - bankroll is 1
#2 invests 1 - bankroll is 2, #1 gets paid 2
#3 invests 1 - bankroll is 1, #2 gets paid 2, where does the missing 1 BTC come from?

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

so u're asking with other words, how can we know when scammer will run ? u cant ...this is not gambling ... its stupidity ...

Sure it is gambling, you are gambling on the site behaving fairly.   I think odds can be calculated, but the calculations are very complex and well beyond simple math.

Anyway, any gambling site can be "hacked" at any moment.   Many have especially in the altcoin world.   Can you be sure none of those weren't the same, that is the operator just ran off with the money?

True..security is the key for all gambling based sites.. How secure is your site?

No. The system is not like that. As I have mentioned in point 4, the next person should always pay the previous person's payout. So, your example with 200% return will look like as follows...

#1 invests 1 - bankroll is 1
#2 invests 2 - bankroll is 2, #1 gets paid 2
#3 invests 4 - bankroll is 4, #2 gets paid 4

You may also follow/participate in the current round that is going on at www.CrazyPonzi.com. May be things will be clearer then. Please feel free to ask any more Q if you have...
