I would sell all my btc completely and buy a car  Grin

That could be a move that would haunt you.

If it does get back to that level there'll have to be some very good reasons why and they're already slowly arriving by the day. It could just be the start of something properly big.

Just as it's daffy to go all in, there's an equal opportunity for regret if you're all out.

Is that really possible???

I really don't think so that it would reach near to $1000 in the future and if it happens then that would be the best day of my life and i would sell all my bitcoins and buy a luxury home for me and my family lets hope for the best and believe that day would come soon.

If you have enough money that $1k bitcoins will afford you a luxury home, you won't be that excited.

I still can't understand how bad at math some people are. They think that a 4-5x increase will solve all their problems when they probably have less than 10k invested.

The poster might live in Lesotho for all we know. I know sod all about Lesotho but I guess their house prices and definition of luxury might be rather different from your average white devil.

I'm embarassed to say this is the first time I heard of that country. Still, given you *probably* don't have all your networth in bitcoin (if you're sane), a 4-5x increase isn't all that much. Unless you're already extremely rich, in which case your probably more long-term thinking.

I won't do anything at 1k unless it's an obvious pump and dump.

I agree. Maybe many aren't actually thinking the figure through. It just sounds really high.

I doubt there are that many folks on here with more than 100 coins. $100,000 is a very, very nice windfall but it's not going to transform your life in a first ish world country.

it depends actually, if you are someone that does not care about luxury stuff and has already bought his house, then 100k would maintain you for many years....permitted you're not a spendthrift

100 btc is a good target, i'm also aiming at that, i was actually near that but then i sold a bunch of coins because i needed money...

I am much of a saving money kind of a person.
I would rather save the money in my bank.
or I would spend it lavishly on myself and friends.

Hold until it gets to 10K.

How about: Hold until fiat scrip is reduced to only having value as a collectible item?

It may reach that price next year when the halving block reward happens , and when/if that happens I will probably sell them because I don't have that much to care about , it's not like I will have a fortune , but maybe if I get more bitcoins till that time ... I may consider investing them or keep holding . depends

If I were you I would sell 50% of them and hold the other amount, and when you do hold them I would hedge 50% of that amount into a reputable altcoin to try and earn sims more profit while it still has room to grow. Just a thought Smiley

can't see the bitcoin price hit $1000 next year. maybe in 2018 or 2019. this thread is more realistic than the other saying what we would do if the price is 1 million. with the price being just $1000 i will probably buy something with bitcoin and sell probably 25% to cash out.

I'd buy some then. And when it came back down, I'd sell for a loss. I wouldn't like it. But that's about the way most of us do it, isn't it?
