I just updated my client, and re-downloaded the blockchain using the bootstrap. I have ~40% the coins I used to have. Checking the transactions, I see all the transactions that should be there - adding up to 100% the amount of coins I should have - but on the overview tab I see my balance listed as ~40%.
Also, it shows 0 coins staking and 0 coins unconfirmed. Any ideas what happened or what's going on?

FIRST BACKUP YOUR WALLET, then after you are up to date type salvagewallet in the console of the debug tab. FYI Cryptobits already exists, it may cause some confusion https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=261194.0

Have you allowed the blockchain to sync?

I tried checkwallet and got this response (xxx is where it lists the amount of missing coins): { "mismatched spent coins" : 326, "amount in question" : xxx } Did repairwallet, and it worked!!! Thanks for the help, sorry I'm such a pleeb with using command line! BTW, I like both bulls and cryptobits, and don't care too much about an old dead "cryptobit" coin, so I'm neutral on this matter.

I had mined around 1000 of these coins last year over at ispace mining pools kept them for a few months and they never staked so I sold them all off for a tidy sum.To bad they never staked.Would have been nice.

Well CBX price is depressed at this moment because of some big sells that aren't yet bought, so you can buy back your 1000 CBX for a song right now. Staking at the moment yields 1.5% yearly; my staking works like a charm here...

Any news on bter?
We have maintained top voting position for a while, and Jimmy has contacted them to reiterate that we are interested to be listed on their exchange and let them know we would provide all required help necessary for this. They have replied that they do not know when they will add new coins to their portfolio, and they do not know if they will use the suggestions from their own voting board. Essentially we are periodically communicating with them to let them know we are still around, so they keep us on their mind. We have been trying to build a Chinese audience by maintaining the 8BTC thread, I suspect this is what will influence Bter the most, to see a strong Chinese following. At 8BTC things are slow, but they are progressing; you can see for yourself - I am Von there. http://8btc.com/thread-20082-1-1.html

Dear CBX community, It is with great sadness that I must report that due to personal circumstances, raizor will be leaving the CBX project and will no longer be able to help us to complete the PoSP work. Raizor has done a phenomenal job for CBX and we have been very fortunate to have him along for the ride. Please keep in mind raizor is and always has been a volunteer and has contributed his blood, sweat and tears to the CBX project so his departure comes with a heavy heart for him as well. We of course wish raizor the best in his personal circumstances and his future endeavors and we will always value his tremendous contributions. Raizor will still be delivering the interim CBX client with IRC and the translation sets shortly, as well as returning the 5 BTC down payment from the PoSP project.
This all being said, we are now all presented with an opportunity in this project to bring in some new development talent. We still have about 10 BTC in the foundation fund for development and the PoSP white paper draft. Should any members of the community have interest in or know of some with interest in getting involved in the project at the development level, please communicate with us.
Those who have been involved with CBX during its 2 years of existence will know that this setback is by no means the end of the road! The development of CBX continues, with the same goals we previously announced, true to the long term philosophy we always had; however this setback will, naturally, cause delays in the development of these projects - therefore a new timeline schedule will be made public, as soon as we have found a suitable replacement for raizor.
For the time being CBX continues to function flawlessly, as it always has. This setback may cause some turbulence in the exchange markets, but please rest assured that the CBX team is committed to bring back its value to a meaningful place among cryptocurrencies...
The core development team feels very strongly that we owe it to the community to bring this information to light in real time as it develops.
Sincerely, Chris 'elambert'

Thank you BTCat I've written a little post. I'll add it below. All the best.
Hello all, I thought I should write a few words to compliment Elambert's post and explain why I've made the decision to move on from Crypto Bullion at this time. As some of you may be aware, I initially became involved in Cryptocurrency development as I saw Crypto (or specifically, decentralized blockchain technology) as a system with real potential for making the world a fairer and happier place; where people could enjoy both financial freedom and cryptographic security (without third-party meddling and manipulation). Something like this has always been a dream of mine, and when I finally caught a glimpse of Satoshi's Bitcoin Whitepaper (quite late in the game), I was hooked! I'd been following CBX (or CGB as it was then) for some time, and I saw a lot of promise in it. The team seemed very friendly, so I got in touch with Elambert and became involved. That was about 14 months ago now, and I had an agreement with my wife when starting out on this Crypto venture that we'd re-evaluate the situation in a year, and make any changes I/we thought necessary. During my time with CBX, I've burnt more than I've earnt (I'm terrible with money!) which has brought about this sudden news. In order to try and make ends meet I've been involved in some other projects alongside CBX, and I now need to make some changes in order to move forward in a less chaotic fashion. I've not been able to dedicate the time to CBX that it deserves of late, and that goes hand in hand with something of a recent life philosophy change for me, which I will now be applying to my work moving forward. I'm sorry for the suddenness of all this and I've tried to manage the situation as best I can, minimizing any damage or harm wherever I can. I've had some great fun working on CBX and interacting with you guys, the CBX community and of course, the CBX Team which is growing all the time. I think PoSP and the Asset Backing will be great when they arrive, I'm just unfortunately not going to be the one to deliver them now. Elambert, VonSpass, BTCat, Jimmy and Co. have some really great ideas in the pipeline and I really hope to see the grand CBX vision fully realized in due time Thank you all for the love and warmth I've received here, and I wish each and every one of you the very best for the future! I am looking to sell some of my CBX (I have ~40K, of which 13K or so is currently tied up in the CBX Casino gamebank) in order to repay the CBX development fund advance of 5BTC. If anyone would like to make me an offer, please send me a PM, thank you. The bulk of my savings are currently in CBX, and I have refrained from selling any of my CBX up to now, but in the spirit of honesty, I should make it known that I will likely need to sell off some of it gradually to raise some funds for the future. I will try to do this off-market wherever possible. As Elambert mentioned, the next wallet release (with many new translation sets and IRC chat) will be delivered before I move on. I hope to bump into some of you again in future, and look forward to catching again. Best wishes to you all, Joe (raizor)

Well as elambert warned, with the changing of the guards comes market turmoil at Cryptsy. This opportunity won't last forever: one way to play this smartly is to place big bargain priced buying offers, and patiently wait: in the past couple of days with the huge amounts of CBX being sold, many of these low offers have been filled. I still believe what we are doing will make CBX worth a lot more in the future, so I placed a few massive low buy offers myself . CBX hasn't changed since 1 week ago, same investor-friendly fundamentals which we are committed to keep; it just seems some large holders suddenly want out a little too fast. It really is a terrible timing for the seller(s) but, oh well, it's their decisiom and we will have more inexpensive CBX for us.

Yes i saw some nice buying orders filled: 1167 CBX@30100 and 1500@25000. Maybe it will come even lower than this, but i'm happy with doubling my stack right now and didn't want to risk missing that opportunity
