Yey, I'm back at BCT again after what feels like forever, anyway I have updated the [ANN], published the new website at https://bitz.biz, released the new version 1.1 wallets and produced a road map and white paper of sorts which is kind of crude but sets out the direction of Bitz. I have also got another exchange added...

Glad to be back.... Grin

I like this coin as well. Dev seems dedicated and honest.

10% staking is just right, and I feel like we're still on the ground floor here.  Smiley

Thanks for the support, we are working behind the scenes to take this forward. I am currently trying to recruit one more team member so that we can progress through the road map as planned but funding is a bit of an issue as all costs are coming out of my pocket. There is very little trade and if you see the rich list there are some people just sitting on a few Bitz and only about 50% are staking.

I would appreciate any help to get Bitz onto Bittrex or Cryptsy so please Tweet etc.

I am now trying to design the layout for the "simple" wallet and the "advanced" wallet which will be a two-mode wallet where you can switch between the modes.

I just wanted to leave a quick update; we are working behind the scenes to finalise the changes we want to implement before we start to make the code. I know the progress is slow but it's steady. I know that everyone in crypto-world wants updates all the time but this is unrealistic so what I will do is, provide a general update once a week on Sunday if there are no other specific issues or other updates.

I know trade is slow and this is a difficult issue to get around. It's a vicious cycle where merchants will not implement Bitz because of the lack of trade and then people won't trade as there is nowhere to spend your coins. This is a long game, we'll get there, just stay with us.

So, if there are no other things happening, expect another update next Sunday. Hope you are all well.

Weekly update
This week I learned that a Twitter giveaway is useless and attracts the wrong kind of people. I had at least two different fraudsters trying to create several accounts on the Bitz forum to claim some Bitz. I shut down the Twitter giveaway. Bittrex didn't take any notice anyway so it was a waste of time.
This week I also learned that there are bots signing up on the Bitz forum and I had to set some more security questions to register.
This week I realised that nobody has any real interest in Bitz and trading is at virtual zero over the exchanges.
This week confirmed earlier data that only about half of Bitz owners are staking. This means that about half of owners are just sitting on Bitz hoping that the value will increase.
I have been working on finalising the concept design for future features and planning how to implement these features.
As the interest for Bitz is zero, I am considering my options and considering if it's worth my while in time and investment of my own money to take this forward.
I will leave everything as it is and see for another week.
If the trading is zero over another week I may just leave the project to it's own devices and start over again.
Never give up....

I think it means "Start over on its own dev-abandoned state."

I'm glad that you're not abandoning it - an honest dev who sticks with his project makes this coin better than most of what's out there. I predict it will gradually earn trust and popularity for those who want to diversify their portfolios with a mostly undiscovered, mid-high staking % coin, as long as you stay moderately active (but don't burn yourself out!).

I've invested a little and am staking every day, for what it's worth  Smiley

Despite the fact that I like BITZ, I have problems with CCex in the past and have stopped any trading there. (The issue of withdrawal of delisted UFO coins at that time was never taken care of; Pride-C-Cex himself paid back some of the coins when the crypto was listed again and he has not been active (by that name) for about 5 months now.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=739473.msg8388206#msg8388206)

The immediate issue for me is also the fact that whenever I sign-in @ C-Cex with the email address, it states that "user not found" but while attempting to create a new account with that email  address, it states that the address has been taken.

In either way, I need to be comfortable enough to trade @ C-Cex again.

I understand your concerns, me myself, I have never had any issues with C-Cex like that. I don't use it much but still. At the moment the problem for Bitz is that Bittrex and others wants payment to list coins and I simply can not afford to pay to have Bitz listed at the moment. So, we have to take the slow route and wait until there are enough people wanting to buy for Bittrex to list.
