The feeling I have now is and extremely unpleasant one.

Gambling at it's best, poker face.   and then, as I type this, I head Mario coin.  Look at blockchain.info and all is well...  Assuming we get another block in the next 15min, I like my odds.

I know this is a bit off-topic, but perhaps Google will bring in new users.

There is a fix for blockear.com.  Yes, you can go back to using blockear with this trick.

I'm using chromium, for speed I inspect element, then Sources tab load up site.js.  Line 25 add an s to make ws into wss.

Now here is the the hack!  Right click->save, cancel.

For some reason trying to save your changes causes Chromium to recompile/reload the JS.  awesome.

Yeah, I loved it and then I needed it an it didn't work and things were sad.  After a few days I stopped waiting for it to get fixed and I started working on it.  Developed this fix in about 3min, then I was like I waited days because of that.  I've emailed and posted, but maxmin is not responsive.

This one is cool too.

More than 44min for a block!

No way, 44min and then just a few seconds too late!  Bogus.

... At least Satoshi Dice paid out.

Maybe a good idea is to spread it by means of the communities of the coins.

I'll spread it to the ones I am active in.

The majority of the alt coins have reset, albeit except 1 current deposit in the Litecoin game.

It's the best possible time to start up on any of the altcoins, that's for sure.

I thought about that, but it's difficult enough to setup a bitcoin client.  With the altcoins it's just impossible.

There isn't a single one that is not doomed to failure, well except namecoin.

Sniff, sniff, sniff...  That smell is of a 0.7BTC deposit.  You can either be ahead of it or behind it in the pay queue.

I was doing some learning and discovered that a softfork can cause a single or even double confirmation to be orphaned from the main chain.

If relying on single confirmations one will need to ensure that they always track software updates.
