Having a ton of fun on this site so far! I have one question: will we ever be able to use a picture for our avatar?

When this happens, you have to uninstall the client using Control Panel, and then download and install the new version manually.

Seems to be trusted website so i will give a try and will register on this website. Hope so my funds are safe and hope so new SwC don't end with same way as old website c.c
The original SealswithClubs has been here as a poker site since the start since 2011. SWC is just by the same management under a new name . The old thread is here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=40077.new#newIt is probably the most trusted site to deposit and play poker on. its not the same owners

1) The short term pain here is worth the long term benefits. We are grinding towards stability. 2) Uninstalling has been tough for some. This is being worked on and will be fixed soon. Here are a few tips that have been reported: -- uninstall / reinstall to get newest version. Auto-Update not working. -- if there is still an "swc-msi" also in your control panel -> uninstall programs list, kill that too -- you may need to manually delete the program files/swcpoker directory first, then go to the control panel-> uninstall list, and when you click uninstall it may say that it's already gone, and ask you to remove it from the list. Do so. -- some have reported success by restarting before installing the fresh one. -- make sure you download a fresh client from --> http://swcpoker.eu/downloads/swcsetup.exesorry for the annoyance this time around. The end result is a smoother, faster, more stable, better playing SwC. And we will continue to improve it. thanks for sticking with SwC during this initial launch period.

If you're ever unable to see your cards, there is a button on every table to refresh the connection, which should correct this immediately. That button, or Help -> Force Reconnect are the solution to a lot of the problems that come up. It's the quick version of "turn it off and on again". So, always try that first when you can't see your cards, are disconnected, can't log in, etc.

What about adding the ability to sign into the website (so that we can at least claim our usernames from before) and possibly join in the trollbox. I understand we have to wait for N weeks to actually start playing but maybe we can hang around like degenerates while we wait?

I uninstall, reinstall, and then when I try to boot, absolutely nothing happens. No error, nothing.
Task manager indicates "PokerUpdate.exe" runs for about a second and then immediately crashes silently.
Running it from the command line also does nothing.

Did everything and the client opens, but it is not connecting to the server.

I am seeing exactly the same behavior; I've also uninstalled, re-downloaded, rebooted, and re-installed several times. What OS are you using? I'm on a clean install of Windows XP running under VMware Fusion on a Mac. One other I noticed is that running swcclient.exe directly results in an error message about inet_ntop missing in ws2_32.dll. Perhaps PokerUpdater.exe checks for an update, finds none, runs swcclient.exe in a way that hides the error, and then exits when it fails. I sent this information to support@swcpoker.eu earlier today; in the past they have been quite responsive.
