One day at 5.49Th/s? On a single unit? How's that possible?

something weird happen i had a spike to 30TH out of no where

That's not a spike - that's a whole day, 24 hours. According to that screen shot, your 1.7Th miner was churning out 5.49Th for 24 hours - that's impossible.

he had someone point ~30th to his address! it was pointed for so much time that it gave the average per day at 5.49Th. is that hard???

Well....yes - because that's his miner username, not a payment address. If you are asking me if ghash or someone else accidently entered exactly the same miner name as his, after presumably entering exactly the same password/2fa in order to do so, then accidentally pointed 30Th at it for however long - then yes, that's pretty hard.

I don't use ghash, for obvious reasons, so I'm not really familiar with their (lack of) security measures though.

If I post my 24hr graph ghash had there web server crash at some point I was unable to login when I did it showed my average hash rate of 30th which is wrong all that work was on that one specific worker although my block payout for that time Fran was higher then usual so it's all bizarre to me not possible for someone to accidental use exactly the same worker so it must have had to do with the pool issues in the last 24 hrs now it's normal and stable

WTF! seems their interface needs some work.  Looks like your sharing (for a short time) other users hashes.  Or Ghash.io doesn't know what to make of this new hardware. Roll Eyes

Pools don't generally even know what hardware you're using - they only know how many shares of a particular difficulty you're sending in (for a given header, depending on GBT vs Stratum vs etc.) and can estimate a hash rate based on that information.  Give them a poke in their thread or contact directly.. see if they can figure out what's up.

In the mean time, if the shares also spike, enjoy the extra balance? Smiley

not sure exactly what happened there but I dont really care I just wanted to show everyone that it is indeed hashing at 1700GH as they claimed it would while also mining scrypt at 50MH now If I could only get my hand on about 100 more of these I might be able to make some substantial gains. My most recent attempts to contact SFARDS on organizing a group buy or bulk order have gone unanswered

Doesn't matter how many more you buy at the current price you would never see an roi, 1200$ a unit isn't going to produce anything profit.

that all depends how you calculate ROI at current LTC and BTC prices you might be correct but I am a believer that both will gain some substantial value especially LTC after the having coming soon. Also I am most concerned about having the most efficient mining gear as my electrical costs aren't as low as others, and I also like to have at least 1 of the latest gear for testing and reviewing for others here on the forum Wink

Anyone tried?  What is the ROI

The ROI is negative, under nearly every imaginable situation. I look more forward to J4bberwock's design.  After speaking with him, it is going to be both more efficient and more reliable, due to some major changes in the power circuit from the Sfards unit.  I think it's going to be very exciting as soon as he finishes ironing out the kinks, none of which were due to his own design.  Stay tuned...

We don't know if the price has already adjusted for the halving, it quadrupled since early July, with the half reward from blocks it could be quite bad, it is better to wait the 8 or so days and find out.

Agreed.  Also, purchasing hardware based on exchange speculation is backwards thinking, you should be looking at the current cost to purchase hardware in BTC and what it will return in BTC (or other crypto).  If the price rises dramatically (and the difficulty follows it), you would be better off having kept the coins to begin with, because your BTC5 miner is now only BTC2.5 to purchase.

Do you happen to have a 1k watt Gold (RM1000 if possible) that you can try on it and see how well it works?

I believe Litecoin already had it's "halving runup", just as I suspect bitcoin will see some price increase late next spring anticipating it's halfing probably in mid-July.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

The good part is it still should kick the older generation of asics offline and make room for more efficient miners, if this will be enough to accommodate the half amount of coins I have no clue.

it would be nice to see all of the zeus machines running on cheap power shut down.

Yeah they run a bit too much power for my taste but they are the only cheaper machines compared to the others, Litecoin asics are very expensive it seems.

Still cheaper then what it was.  Look into the A2 90 machines.  Those things costed a fortune.  And remained king for a long time.

Zeus I'm surprised a lot still run.  A lot I think are running at a loss they just are not very efficient.

thanks for photo  so 1046 watts at the wall is giving you 1700gh and 50 mh

if you get lucky it could pay off for you.  LTC is very critical

where do you mine ltc?

f2pool pays you 0.02153293 ltc   this is   1.0766 ltc a day 3.98 usd a day in ltc

and  0.00916127 BTC   so that is 0.01558 btc a day   3.90 usd a day in btc

1046 watts is  about 25 kwatts a day at 10 cents = 2.50 usd a day in power

so right now you are making  7.88 - 2.50 = 5.38 usd a day  and f2pool gives a little more in NMC HUC and DOGE

just depends on what happens over the next 3-4 months.

good luck!
