I just bought 71 shares of ASICminer on BTC-TC. This is my first time investing in anything using bitcoin (up till now I was a hoarder I guess). Risks aside, the value proposition just seems really good. Of course I didn't invest everything, though I was tempted to

I have two questions.

1) Am I crazy? It just seems too good to be true. Maybe i just trust friedcat too much? Why is the yield sitting on 50-60% annually and yet the price doesn't move upwards much?

2) Am I in time to get the dividends tonight?

The price has gone waaaay up. It started at 0.1 BTC just X months ago ...
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

FWIW, Friendcat was in response to the new shareholder who asked questions about his new shares. He wrote Friendcat, not Friedcat Smiley

a classic Smiley
I still think there will be either a nice amount of profits from hw sales or, more conservatively, at least a statement by friedcat on the future prospects of asicminer.
