240 Master Nodes and the last 12 hours there were 465 POS blocks solved. So each master node might have received 2 payments within the last 12 hours if they were lucky. A few unlucky MNs only got 1 payment. Seems better to stake 500 coins then have them sit around and maybe get 2 or 3 payments a day. It's time for the markets to open and I bet some of those Master Nodes will be used for Markets.

so staking is better than having a masternode? I heard otherwise but looking to get some more input

I'm pretty sure masternodes are more profitable than staking, any way you slice it. I'd be interested in seeing evidence to the contrary!

As more masternoes come online they all share the payment. The more nodes = the less payments per node. As less coins are being staked those staking coins will get more stakes.

One wallet with 750 coins and two master nodes with 500 coins.

My numbers: Time Frame 30 hours

MN1 receive 1 payment = 0.66666666
MN2 recieve 2 payments = 1.33333332
My wallet solved 15 POS blocks = 4.99999995

So, keep those coins on the market and lock those coins up in the master node so I can get more stakes! Less people staking mean the more POS block for me.

Hmm If this is the case what's the point in masternodes? Tempted wack all mine in staking wallet now and turn masternodes off if this is the case.

Masternodes still pay out more per block and the point is for coin mixing. However staking is important for the security of the network too. You just have to decide how you can maximize your money and I think the competition between masternoders and stakers enhances security on both ends and I can imagine a scenario of people doing both or alternating between staking and running masternodes.

Personally speaking I am purely staking, I seem to be getting a good return and while according to the calculator I could make more with masternodes I also don't have to deal with the hassle of running alot of them, I like my niche Smiley

i just turned off my mn for the same reason. the hassle. i dont know why but running them through tor kept dropping the nodes out. dunno why tried loads. most ran for a few hours then stopped then had to press start again. weird. back to staking. hassle free and according to TimC more proffitable.

Hey Bro!
When you get a chance...contact me directly and maybe we can drink a beer together with the boys!
This is an alias and not the real me btw...tell Bob to call the guy his dog is named after! he has my real cell number and I talked with him a few months ago! he said the limestone patio has not been started yet and he would give Bob the good word for me! I'm the artist layout guy the architects like...just a hobby on the side to clear my head of all the fake BS in da world! Bob knows that there is a lot of limestone to complete more projects so whatever da man wants da man gets...
I'm done with Wall Street...offically retired and crave is my new hobby!
As for what I think of the direction crave is taking...well onward and upward slow and steady and walk the staircase. I expect that some might panic buy or fat finger but we all pros here...lol  Cool
Just tell Bob not to tell the guy his dog is named after who I am only that he wants my number so he can contact me for the job!
Enjoy your day sir and we will talk soon...

You could find your answer here http://www.richlist.eu/crave scroll down to the addresses with similar balances and see for yourself.

Take this one for example https://chainz.cryptoid.info/crave/address.dws?C4zcQYo1LmzKhAYeC2GsM7d6ySejR29xfD.htm - it is staking with 95 coins

now so quite in here, is this coin abandoned? Grin
in exchange only pumper&dumper, holidays maybe Cheesy

the community is working hard, instead of fighting the trolls!

top wallets accumulating coins, master nodes increasing

price holding steady! Smiley

all good things

Yea price is stable will increase slowly and once some1 setup market price will go up more over 500k sats
Because if some1 need to buy blur they will need crave to trade with blur I think. Crave value will increase in no time

with my 800 + coins staking I'm getting approx 2 - 2.5 coins a day if net weight climbs it's a bit less and if net weight goes down then I'll get a bit more
