Why only Windows? I want a FreeBSD or Linux version, can you release? or there any source? i can compile it.

The public Linux and Mac version will be available when we release version 1.2.1.1. And there much people use FreeBSD, may you think to make for this. in Linux version, have command-line or GUI? |

 Hello all!
Today I would like to announce the release of Bytecent version 1.2.1! http://www.bytecent.com/download.php
Bytecent version 1.2.1 is the first in a series of updates planned to be released over the course of the next two weeks. The following bug fixes and features were added to version 1.2.1:
- Fixed Proof of Bytecent 1900 coin bug.
- Add new Mac wallet. (Public Linux version is on hold)
- Reduced PPS limit.
- Added restrictions to systems with enormous CPU power.
- Removed some RPC commands that can be used to exploit the system.
- Upgraded to QT5
- Combined quick launch app and main wallet into one app.
- Started to redesign the GUI. (Completely new GUI is in the works)
- Renamed Mine to Earn to better understand the process POW.
I suggest everyone download new version ASAP. If you have not mined in a few days, I recommend you begin mining again with the new version. I am giving everyone until 8PM EST today to upgrade to version 1.2.1. After that, anyone using our official miner will be required to update to their wallet. All older wallets will no longer be able to mine. However, you will still be able to send and receive coins with the old version.
Version 1.3 will introduce new security features to prevent further exploits from some individuals. Version 1.3 is a major update and will require a fork. We want to make sure thorough debugging and testing is done before releasing version 1.3 to the public.
Lastly, we are adding new features to Bytecent.com, and finishing up the new Bytecentcard.com website. We are also adding a new payment system to Bytecentcard.com to allow purchases to be made with Bytecent.
I want to thank everyone for their continued support, and remember Bytecent is just getting started!

For anyone who hasn't heard yet, the new wallet is so secure that no-one can mine with it, so the old wallet is still the one to use for the next few days - by then all will be well again  |
