2) If it's per week, $750-$900 would be great but I'm ready for negotiation Smiley
3) A big YES because I'm intended towards learning more and more about the crypto space Wink

5  Local / India / Re: Discussing about Bitcoin to Friends and Relatives. on: October 22, 2023, 04:59:08 PM
1. Is Bitcoin Risky?: One major concern that holds me back is the perceived risk of Bitcoin. What if people invest and end up losing their hard-earned money?
How do you approach this aspect when talking about crypto?

Let me get straight to your questions without much ado.
Yes, Bitcoin is risky. But, you may first ask them that what doesn't consist of risks? Be it BSE, NSE, Gold purchase, or even a real estate. Nothing here is guaranteed, and Bitcoin being risky is because it comes from a highly different asset class, but it holds enough acquaintance among people and can easily be traded, even easier than stocks. Hassle-free. Show them the returns people have got, then talk to them about the mining aspect and then tell them about the current upcoming halving event and explain it to them. I'm sure they'll understand and invest something into BTC. One most important thing here, ask them to invest only what they can afford to lose.

2. Beating Inflation and Earning Profits: On the other hand, I also see the potential for people to beat inflation and make decent profits from cryptocurrencies.
So, should we consider discussing the financial benefits as well?

Definitely. It's better to keep both the sides in front of them, so it'll be easier for them to decide whether to go for it or not. There's nothing bad in telling everything to them, so that it becomes transparent to them and they get clear about this asset class.

7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cross addictions is Just as Bad. on: October 12, 2023, 07:59:43 PM
I don't think it's bad as you described, albeit you need to be very much determined to the next addiction and it must not be something bad as if like joint smoking, drinking, etc. because that may definitely lead you to highly serious circumstances than you may even think of. It's better to talk about your habits with someone you trust a lot, and let them handle your situation their way.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you ever feel tired of waiting? on: October 11, 2023, 09:02:05 PM
TBH, I'm not the type of person who likes to wait for anything. If I get the right opportunity to get out of the market (according to my feeling), I don't wait and just sell off. I've had been here since 2013, and had since been earning in amounts like max 1 BTC a week in a signature campaign, then lowered down to 0.4 BTC based on its price and rest is history. I never saved any BTC with me and I don't regret doing that because for me, at that time, it was the best decision. So I believe that what you did in your present based on your needs is much more important than just keep saving it forever and let others take the advantage.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell...next bull run? on: October 11, 2023, 08:00:11 PM
The best time to buy is when people think that it's boring to invest in crypto or if there is too much blood on the streets as we have been hearing since our early stage, so it's better to first decide when to buy and then decide a specific target for our own, be it the bull run factor or the normal spike in the value of BTC. It's always better to DYOR and to look for many factors before selling.
I'd advice not to sell at good news alone because since we began, we have been following: buy the rumors, sell the facts. So always wait for a spike after the dump that takes place once the good news is released, so that you make enough from your investment. Wink
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling vs trading on: October 11, 2023, 07:49:27 PM
Hodling is good only for those who have been holding their coins since early times, and are still holding for more. Those who bought at high are holding it due to the fact that they don't want to lose on their investment (retail investors) and other big investors also don't want to lose that huge percentage of their earnings at low price. Trading is best for those who understand the market and can time their trades carefully so that even if they lose, their loss isn't so big for them and they can continue playing with the market, trade more and earn more.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Marriage mean double your passive income, rental property mean double your passi on: October 10, 2023, 11:49:03 PM
Lol I couldn't stop laughing, dear OP.
So you mean there is no hard work?
The only truth about your rental property part is that, only those riches who suck the blood out of poor people and pay them their hard-earned money are the ones who create properties for themselves. Actually, they create empires, so they don't give a damn about renting that property to earn anything because they know how to get their work done through others' efforts while themselves sitting in an AC room, watching their employees do the job for them. Only those who know how to take work from others can succeed in buying properties for themselves and their families (and maybe rent it to someone).

I've got friends who collectively bought a property on loan, then they kept repaying the loan out of the rent for 5 years, then they bought another house and again did the same but this time, they repaid it earlier because of 2 houses' rent (and some out of their pockets). However, you need luck here as well to find the best property in an area where you'll get a tenant looking for the same and gets it in his/her budget.

And about the marriage part, what has that to do with passive income? I'm shocked. If you think that your wife is an investment, then I believe you seriously need a break. And yeah, if she's an earner like you, then it all depends upon how you guys manage your money and the most important thing - understanding between you two.
12  Local / India / Re: Thoughts and Suggestions on unofficial rules being followed in Indian board on: October 10, 2023, 11:30:22 PM
I've seen the suggestions for the rules here, but I'd also like to suggest whether we can have a dedicated gambling sub-board just like we can see in the global Marketplace section? I mean, if it is possible, then why not?
The threads need to be bumped if they need to be seen here, but instead of that, why not a sub-board to handle everything related to gambling and gambling discussions for the Indian board?

For this board, my suggestion for the set of rules would be:
Strictly gambling related stuff. Games and rounds to be conducted here as well so that instead of searching for a thread, we will get them all at one place.

Please share your opinion on this.

And yeah, mining hasn't gone obsolete here, it's just that we don't have enough people available with us from this industry to determine more stuff about what and how they are mining. I know various people who do mining and other stuff but I don't think they'd like to come here and discuss about the same (their personal issues maybe).
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does bitcoin price increase after halving? on: October 10, 2023, 11:12:08 PM
I have witnessed that it gets higher, but during the time halving comes it comes back down so to put down the morale of investors and when they're finally done with their trading mindset and get out of the markets, the whales play their game and shoot the price to around new ATH. I don't know if we'll be seeing the old ATH in place again this time but we will definitely see $55k (at least double the current price) because the true enthusiasts will always make the halving event unforgettable.
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Sportsbook to handle large bets? on: October 10, 2023, 10:58:18 PM
How would you know the first thing about this subject. My name here at bitcointaqlk is run by multiple people. I jumped in becasue I saw large bets. I'm not a crypto millionaire but know them and high rollers. The high rollers bet on credit or in crypto. Some crypto books here pay out 6 figures without a problem once they get referred or have a history.

Hey buddy, I don't think that's true. Even some new crypto casinos have actually paid out large sums to their players without any issues. For paying a customer with a strong bankroll, a crypto book doesn't need history but their own credit in the market as well as they themselves need to have that much amount of money on their hands to deal with such payouts. If they're reputed enough and have been here paying out huge payouts, then I believe they'll easily get credit by their sister sites or some other reputed casinos to stay longer in the game (based on the condition that they'll repay a good amount of interest on that credit). I've also seen some high rollers who dealt with sportsbooks ready to pay them their deposited money and partial winnings (not the whole amount but a settled amount) so to remain in the gambling industry, and those guys agreeing to such settlements.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning Wisely: Strategies to Protect Your Bankroll on: October 10, 2023, 02:24:12 PM
It's damn simple.
Never go to a casino with 100% of your bankroll, only take what you can afford to lose DURING THAT SESSION.
Never play above a fixed bet so to have something left to play more, and read it carefully, I said "to play more", not "recover it back". If you will go with a mentality to recover your losses, you'll definitely either deposit more or just play till the last cent of your bankroll is left on your account to try and recover, and then mess up everything by losing it all because you lose your control and go for unnecessary big bets.
16  Local / India / Re: Oct 1 | Tax on online gaming & casinos set to 28% on: October 10, 2023, 01:47:55 PM
Again most casinos are not based in India as gambling is illegal as per the law.
Which is why Deltin operates its casino in Goa on the water. They are very crafty because they used the loophole in the legal document where it says "no land-based casinos" - hell we will operate in water Tongue

--snip--

The issue is, the casinos are not allowed here in our country (not even sportsbetting as far as I know) and only this fantasy thing that needs skills is currently running at a very big pace. Even games like rummy, teen patti and other such games where people can actually decide to continue their bets ahead or just fold and wait for the next games, are kind of games which are almost the same as we see on international casinos but I don't understand how our government has not yet banned those games.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and gambling which one has done you more harm on: October 10, 2023, 12:55:13 PM
Nothing can harm you until you give them the privilege to do so. It's not necessary what has harmed us so much, but gambling is a super quick process and BTC investments took more than a decade for the earliest investors to unlock the true potential value (jackpot prize) of BTC. Gambling gives quick results and needs luck, whereas BTC investments need you to hold for a longer term for it to grow (or lose) its value. So comparison of both isn't possible.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with entropy (Chaos) on: October 10, 2023, 09:49:06 AM
If the clams price regains, you will be one of the important reasons @seoincorporation because you've "beaten up the dead horse" and now the horse is ready to get back into shape, and finally, into the game.
We all almost forgot about just-dice but you brought the life back to it as even after being here since long time, we just went ahead and gave up on the past.
And I saw on altquick that there's a sell at 478 sats worth 0.015xxx BTC for above 3000 coins, which means that if you keep rolling for x3300 for 3000 times with just 478 sats per bet and if you it this x3300 for 2 times (and if highly lucky, then 10 times), you'll get a decent amount on hands to play again by only keeping the initial balance on the site and taking out the winnings. 19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: October 09, 2023, 08:00:50 PM
You can diversify your funds in various casinos so that if at any cost, your gambling account gets closed for any reason by a certain casino, at least you're good to play at the other one. This way, there is also less chance of getting asked for KYC because the sums of the funds will be divided by the number of casinos you will keep your coins at. Or you can just play with part of your funds at a casino and if you face any difficulty playing there, then wait till your deposit is returned by them and till then, go ahead for another casino.

One should ask for user reviews or ratings regarding certain platforms so that they can get feedback from those who have already used that platform and has personal experience which is the best way to know if a casino is good or not.

I have seen many comments claiming that the review/feedback system can be manipulated and exploited and they don't prefer it, but then I'd like to ask them that who can they trust then? If everything in this world can be/is manipulated, then what can they put their trust on?
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with entropy (Chaos) on: October 09, 2023, 07:36:56 PM
Wow, justdice 😍
I remember those days when BTC wasn't too much in value, and so we used to gamble big whenever got a chance after getting paid our signature earnings of up to 1 BTC a week. Cheesy
Yes, there were some crazy winnings after long losing streaks but then placing random bets on any bets and winning was casual during those days. And talking about wave, I also believe that the change of bet sizes and strings worked for many and gave them huge wins.
