325  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far will Bitcoin price correct? on: November 20, 2021, 09:44:38 PM
I guess this weekend would be a great time for recover as usually bitcoin market trades positive on weekend.

Well, I don't think so because weekends are mostly the only days when the whole crypto declines in percentage, and I'm quite surprised to see since the last few weekends that there are not many drops occurring against the spikes that are taking place every now and then. I hope that your perceptions regarding BTC's price rise come out to be true today as Sunday has started here already (in my country) but I'm waiting for 23:59 pm UTC to see what happens at that time.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot forecast on: November 20, 2021, 09:02:40 PM
--snip--

Even predicting is not possible in neither slots nor dice, we may go for employing some strategy to extend our play for long run; still such strategies are helping only for playing more and definitely not for predicting the next outcome. It means profit making is not possible ever out of slots or dice.

Or else, if someone is too much interested in predicting the outcome, he can simply try to know the seed of the casino by hacking it and then, just do like many hackers did with PrimeDice and try to withdraw. There were winners (here: hackers) who got 100 BTC wins each time they gambled because they "knew the outcomes" of all those bets and it wasn't prediction, and many of them were even successful in withdrawing some part of those coins or even in full.
327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [scalpers] Don't just join a moving train on: November 20, 2021, 07:54:13 PM
Scalpers don't avoid stop losses... that's a myth.
Scalpers have to be fast so they don't have time to set stop losses but since they monitor the trades, it's fine.

That's a myth itself that scalpers have to be fast. You are given stop loss and take profit options available so to quickly set it up even before opening a trade. But calculating a stop needs time or understanding of the trend or pattern + Risk:Reward ratio, and if someone's scalping, it's better not to put a very tight stoploss because it might get hit quickly so even if it goes back to the trader's profit area, he regrets later. Scalps are for mostly 5 - 10 mins, and that's enough time for a trader to either set or trail a SL once he sees his position in profits.
328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading involvement on: November 20, 2021, 07:41:22 PM
I'm very much inspired by your story and the same goes with me as well but I'm teaching my 2 and a half years old daughter how to operate smartphone and she's doing it very well. Once she becomes 3, she'll start capturing everything about crypto as I'll teach her about it (but definitely won't let her trade till she becomes eligible to do that Wink).
A few years back, the same sentence was told by my friend to me when I told him that I've got enough knowledge to share about crypto but I'll charge him, he told me that he doesn't need knowledge but tips to make money out of it. He told me that when you'd have made a fortune, come back to me or tip me now so that I make money and pay you back. That's both, the mentality and reality of people, they don't realise what they're missing on by not gathering knowledge about crypto, while they only look for ways to make money and that's how the mentality has been faked in everyone's mind.
329  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far will Bitcoin price correct? on: November 20, 2021, 06:54:10 PM
With the recent "pump", it looks like BTC is recovering again but I'm still waiting for a big dip to happen which will come according to my belief because Bitcoin came high and broke its ATH so quick after going to $30k, that it has yet to take the liquidity available at many lower levels including $40k. Though, till BTC remains above $57k, I'm bullish on it and if it crosses back $62k, it'll become parabolic once again.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot forecast on: November 20, 2021, 06:36:25 PM
@OP, be it dice or slots, nothing can be predicted. Both of them give random results based on the string hashed at that time and the generated results, so you really can't call yourself a predictor but lucky enough if you had a great gambling session whatsoever. I'd also like to point out that there's a house edge in these games and if it's very high like 3-4%, I assure you that you'll lose a lot more there. Try to find games that are really predictable, like soccer, cricket, tennis, American football, etc. because you know the team's stats as well as their abilities and skills, so you can better predict in such games.
331  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know if current prices are corrected or going to correct? on: November 20, 2021, 06:16:55 PM
Have you heard of Fibonacci?
You must try it on your charts to understand where will the market be heading, because knowing major levels of support and resistance will literally help you out in finding out whether a correction is near or the market is going to take a rebound. And keep note of things side by side as to what's happening outside markets but relates to the crypto you're invested in, so that will also help you predict it in a much better way.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations for crypto currencies on: November 20, 2021, 05:39:32 PM
It's definitely going to snatch away the freedom of keeping your transactions to yourself while you're bound to show everything in the books once regulations are implemented, so for the Governments to start levying taxes. Just like israt1@ said, complete decentralization can never be achieved as it wasn't in full even before crypto was in talks. Though things get centralized, it's in the good for crypto because without the country-wide support for crypto, we won't be able to achieve the goals that was set by Satoshi, to make crypto available and easy to use as well as friendly for anyone in this world.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is good. It’s hard to persuade parents to invest in it. on: November 20, 2021, 04:46:54 PM
I believe that with enough crypto adoption from many countries these days, convincing our parents to invest in crypto shouldn't be a problem. The problem is that, we try to make them understand almost every single aspect like Blockchain, DeFi, Staking, Farming, Launchpool, Metaverse (now), etc., but the real fact is that, they are interested only in making money. So why not show them some results after investing very small amounts by yourself and tell them that if they'd have invested in the same tokens you did, wouldn't they make the same or even better profits based on their investment amounts?
334  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dealing with a broker and wants his commission before I see the ROI on: November 19, 2021, 07:21:23 PM
Yeah, i know i am screwed, unless he sends me my initial investment back. Thanks for the help everyone.

And he won't do that because you've got no proofs like a signed document (in person), or a video of him showing that he's in custody of your funds to trade and will hold till he pays you back his liabilities towards you which is his promised returns' amount. I don't think anyone in their sensible mind would even think of investing with someone they don't even know about. There are enough websites with those tags like FINRA and whatnot, but have you personally checked and verified everything before giving him your money?
335  Economy / Economics / Re: Credit cards | A scam or a tool? on: November 19, 2021, 05:53:46 PM
Im handling out my cards well similar to this on which i do make use only for emergency or for simply on groceries or simply with needs.

I never ever consider on making out some purchases which arent really that needed or simply with your wants because this would really fucked you up in long process.

Interest rates are really that big which you should not really forget to pay in due date or else then high charges would be next in line.

Worst is when you've utilised all your credit limits and an emergency arises later. What would happen is, you'll need to use your cash for that emergency to save yourself/your family/your friends, etc. (any type of emergency you're stuck in, you'll think of getting out of it at first), it's the cash that you were going to pay banks against your credit card usage bill. That's where life sucks as you get badly stuck in the trap banks have set for you, and that's the huge interest rate. Not just that, they start visiting your place, insult you by calling your relatives and sending them messages and even personally. This is why I'd never keep a credit card with me until I'm really in need of one, because when a gun is given in the hands of a monkey, he simply shoots anywhere just for fun (that's what people do with CC).
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hillary Clinton: Nation states should pay attention to the rise of crypto on: November 19, 2021, 05:35:41 PM
Definitely true Bitcoin can't replace the normal fiat currency as a major reserve but it would continue to be a treat to many nations economy due to its decentralized nature. One limitations Bitcoin might face in the future is it's highly volatile nature and as long as it's unstable there are no chances for adoption but can serve as store of value for some countries

How come countries can use BTC as a store of value without its adoption? Amazed, truly!
Anyways, Bitcoin's volatility will still be there years later be it towards north or south, because traders are in crypto for money so they won't let the volatility go apart from BTC to earn through futures if not spot.

--snip--
.... I see Bitcoin as a way of controlling your money right now, and it probably has more potential to earn you money over a period of time, than if you were to collect the tiny amount of interest banks offer.

That's the only reason we all are here, because banks have been looting us all the way since centuries and it's such a system that was made only for the benefits of Governments and Big Entities of their countries. FFS, if I'd have got BTC in my childhood back in 2000s or even earlier, I'd have experienced already what it is to be financially free while we have been paying yearly debit card charges, QAB (Quarterly Average Balance) Non-Maintenance charges, SMS charges (for transaction alerts), calling charges to Bank if we'd like to ask something regarding their services, I mean WTF? We need to pay them more money to handle our money? Are they providing any kind of security to us? What about the banks that got ripped by many industrialists who ran away with people's money and such innocent people are still waiting for their money to be returned to them?

Are we retards that we can't even handle our money? BTC removed all these things as well as the stress to pay these shitty charges to banks as I can simply sell my BTC for cash and get my work done. My view of looking towards money changed after BTC came in my life, and I'd happily use it till I live.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A positive evaluation of gambling. on: November 19, 2021, 05:13:25 PM
It is true that with gambling there are some positive things that we get, we will get used to bearing losses and make us able to move on from
problems faster. So when I experience a loss in any case, I don't panic and stress easily, because when gambling we often experience losses.
Then in gambling we need to control ourselves, so as not to gamble excessively and not become addicted. So in everyday life we will get used
to not doing anything excessively. Another positive thing is that I become entertained by playing gambling, and it can reduce the stress I experience.

I've got an advice for anyone who wants to keep control on their gambling habits - set a max cap of your bankroll for each session. A session is when you sit and decide to gamble, max cap means a part or a percentage of your bankroll and and never ever decide to gamble your entire bankroll nevermind even if you lose all that part of your bankroll during that session. It'll help you to leave the site and then come back another day and play with another part.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hillary Clinton: Nation states should pay attention to the rise of crypto on: November 19, 2021, 03:54:22 PM
--snip--

I doubt crypto has the strength to overtake the dollar within a few years for example but there will likely be a solution that rises up that consumers/businesses accept (and we can hope it's not centrally controlled).

Exactly, not just talking about Bitcoin alone but the entire crypto doesn't hold a chance at replacing the Dollar to become world reserve currencies because these things are being seen as highly volatile assets where storing money can only be useful for those who see the price of BTC to be at least a few dollars higher than what they invested at, at the end of the day. I believe centralisation is definitely going to take place once regulations come into effect globally, but that'll take time (not so far).
339  Economy / Services / Re: Wallet Recovery Service on: November 18, 2021, 08:43:35 PM
@OP,
Why don't you try your hands on a few threads you can find that are regarding bounties for recovering their BTC? Your services may definitely be beneficial to them and you too if you're able to have such ^necessary tools^ available to bruteforce their wallets and find out the keys. /s

However, I don't think that even quantum computing has got the power to break the keys' security as of yet, else BTC and the whole protocol would have been destroyed by a few institutions only.
340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What if Covid 19 broke the 4 year market cycle? on: November 18, 2021, 08:24:52 PM
It seems like it isn't Covid, but a few other things of which traders are in huge fear about.
The day MtGox funds release news broke, was the day I have been carefully watching the markets because I was skeptical about this happening. And then came another news - https://www.pcmag.com/news/us-department-of-justice-is-selling-56m-worth-of-bitcoin

I believe that both these news have played a vital role in BTC price breakdown (again). I don't think BTC will touch its ATH again this year and December may prove to be a stable month rather than bullish.
