941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DeFi Dead? on: December 19, 2020, 11:09:09 PM
How can you call it "dead" when all the tokens under this category are still trading? I'm having some bzrx which is also a DeFi token, how can it be dead? I believe that the non-sense tokens which got hyped too much are pretty much settling lower this bull run because they were hyped hard before this actual bull run and so, such tokens are now being overlooked and won't be entertained as this party is for some really good tokens. Wink

Stagnation is nigh in this tyoe of world he's making it to be. If not stagnation, it's going to be saturation that will kill everyone off. Everyone working for the same type of job will be so meaningless and stupid.

That's exactly the truth. Either from this side or the other, the next person has to suffer because of one when there will come the limitations where people will be made to eat "Only" what is decided by their governments in order to equally distribute that same thing to others. The question is, how much hunger does everyone have? The level of hunger is different in each person which is why, some have the dare to go for high, while others are satisfied with what they have. So printing more money will only make such users completely useless when they'll see their demands getting satisfied without doing any extra work.
943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Adam Back the real Satoshi Nakamoto? on: December 19, 2020, 10:38:11 PM
Lol, ever heard of poison being called as nectar?
The same way, none in this world can actually be called Satoshi Nakamoto than Satoshi himself officially showing up ahead and claiming he's Satoshi by signing message with his privkeys. Honestly, if that ever happens, people's trust from the markets will become obsolete and things will change back to where they started from.
944  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit & Difficulties 😑 on: December 19, 2020, 09:34:21 PM
Remember one thing, if you really work harder and just try and try hard, it gets noticed some day. But if you just cry it out publicly trying to "show off" that you're working behind something, downgrades your credibility and reduces the chances of getting noticed by people again - just like when (and if) you're working hard to gain merits, your work will speak and you'll get noticed. But if you just shoutout about yourself, which means that you're trying to "show off" that you worked a lot, come on, you're just so new here and these things shouldn't bother you much except if you sole intention is to get into a signature campaign. And trust me, people will try to ignore you if you'll speak good about yourself.
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: +22%! Bringing NAV back to the spotlight with NavCoin Core 6.0 release on: December 19, 2020, 09:06:48 PM
They're lately making moves, and hopefully a big 2021 with xNAV and their upcoming mobile support.

I hope to see a good and healthy new year with a stable alt season that must remain in greens for a long duration just like btc is maintaining its credit in the markets. Although we believe that an optimistic news do effect on the price of an asset in a positive way, but so is vice versa in the case of crypto. Let's hope NAV delivers much better than it did before (with slight recoveries) and gives bigger than ever profits because too many alts are having a run now.

Moving to speculation, it is holding strong and has a great support near 540 sats which makes me believe that the coin should get over 750 sats one more time before settling down a bit again (kind of a double top).
946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: +22%! Bringing NAV back to the spotlight with NavCoin Core 6.0 release on: December 19, 2020, 08:07:06 PM
This token had remained silent for a very long time with continuously stable dumps (as I've only noticed this token when it was listed on Binance in 2018) and has since didn't recover back. I'm happy to see that it's at least making a few bucks to some people while it was a (nightmare) token which ate my BTC0.1 that I invested in this token in early 2018.
947  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bull Run; FOMO on: December 19, 2020, 03:27:06 PM
Would you believe if I say I had the opportunity to buy 10k BTC at around $0.1 per coin in its very early days? I didn't buy it at that price because my dad straight away rejected my proposal to go for this. I studied everything from its whitepaper to knowing about the technology backing its transactional run (I'm talking about Blockchain), but my dad thought it's a HYIP (and it was time back then when such things were in the trend). I lost too much in HYIPs before I got known to BTC that my father didn't let me buy it, not even when BTC was just $30 (as he wanted to prove me that it's a HYIP shitcoin and nothing and he thought he proved it to me when BTC crashed down back to $5). Things never remained the same for BTC and so is the case with those in the top 10 according to their marketcap. I believe that you need to get the rest ones assorted in order to find the best coin and get into it, wait for some years to get the next 100x.
948  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think every trader should do to stay in the green on: December 18, 2020, 07:53:38 PM
Tbh, the best thing you need to know here is where to sell. Nobody in this world can predict it to you. For those who sold at peak, congrats to them because they're now enjoying their real gains instead of still holding it under the pressure of waiting for longer to reach a much higher ATH. Come on folks, it's Christmas coming and so, there will be a selling pressure added at some point soon once people realize they've got enough expenditures to have covered before the festival arrives. This is the only thing a trader needs to know IMHO to be in greens. Wink

950  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that the price of bitcoin is going to exceed 20,000$? on: December 14, 2020, 11:00:26 PM
I believe that the ATH buyers of last time will not sell early because now is the time for them to hodl more as the price tries to make new history. About breaking $20k this year, I completely agree with your opinion OP that BTC won't be able to cross above that area before the end of 2020 due to certain reasons, one of which is the ongoing issues in the world due to which even investors have been sidetracked. There was a rumor that self-hosted wallets will be banned but I don't know how true is it!
951  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: GreenAddress blacklisted my wallet, and now holds custodial control of it on: December 14, 2020, 08:42:50 PM
I had been using Greenaddress wallet since they released a new version in 2020 itself where they've also allowed mobile phone verification (via call) for 2fa in order to send a transaction. I never knew that their support is this bad and it may take years for a solution to happen - it's looking like a case that we file in India, then wait years for the resolution to come.
952  Economy / Economics / Re: genius idea to fix all economy best idea on: December 14, 2020, 08:14:54 PM
Are you crazy OP?
Do you even know what you're talking about? Giving away money for free? Donations are good but giving away money like this will increase nothing but laziness in the ones who work hard to earn their living as well as it can also blow air to terrorism, jealousy, hate, because people will then start to steal other's money as you know, humans are hungry more for money rather than for food.
953  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage Bitcoin price risk? on: December 14, 2020, 07:31:11 PM
They do offer the old-fashioned and traditional products but what's more interesting is the fact that the amount of liquidations happening every now and then are extremely higher as compared to what we see in forex and commodity derivative markets. I'm happy with what's already being provided but will definitely love to see something new rolling in so the old things get a competition. About price risk, how is it not pleasant to see our BTC's "price growth"? When the value of our BTC will remain the exact same in BTC since we hold it, it doesn't make any difference.
954  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin has not been able to hit $20k price in 2020? on: December 14, 2020, 06:24:59 PM
I believe that not ^all^ of us want it to go there so they resist that area so badly and even have their bots setup that way so that it crashes every single time it reaches that level. I'm an optimist and I'd love BTC going high, same way there are people who want to buy it back lower which is why they sell their stash to create a picture which looks like a dump where others too sell in the fear of getting it dumped down badly. This is a cycle and BTC has immense possibility of reaching and even breaking $20k eventually with full force.
955  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your merit will find you! on: December 14, 2020, 05:16:12 PM
I think they are being given "false advices" by some people or even newbies themselves, maybe the ones who bring them here - setting a formula, a plan that they execute simply to get merits. Some newbies will come here and say "Hey you, you're already a Legendary so you won't understand the struggle of a newbie". TBH, I do understand them because I myself don't get too much merits but I'm fine with it, I don't write for merits and so I don't expect them (has no relation to what my rank is). New people nowadays have stopped checking the old threads and represent the already answered question in such a fashionable way that they either get merits or even if they don't, their threads are flooded with extremely non-sense replies later after the first ones where they have already found their answers.
956  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bangladesh going to accept Cryptocurrency??? on: December 14, 2020, 04:56:33 PM
I think that when you (Gov) know about your country's economic health and see that crypto has a wide range of services available as well as can bring in enough opportunities to the youth of their country if they allow crypto exchanges to operate there. I believe it can also help strengthen their GDP and can also gain some extra momentum as one whole country starts accepting it, so it'll be a win-win for both the ends.

958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gamblers! What is your excuse to avoid a game with 0% House Edge? on: December 13, 2020, 11:50:52 PM
@OP, the times were different 4 years back and BTC wasn't even $5k at that time I guess, so alts were just nuts. Now, when things have changed, everyone is trying to collect as much crypto as possible. In the middle of that, if you ask why people are not gambling at your site even with a 0% house edge, I'd just say that they're too scared to bet on a game that gives a 16x "only" when their block hash's last letter/number will match their prediction. For that, one can't go and make multiple selections all at once (maybe reduce the prize money 4 times if one selects more than 1 letter/number). Try to make it more easy for the gamblers as we will be happy with some house edge but can't go and bet big knowing that the price of these valuable coins can rise any moment from now.
959  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: There is no certainty in trading on: December 13, 2020, 11:31:09 PM
Speculations are just guesses and none in this world can be certain enough to predict the exact direction of markets with extreme accuracy unless he's such a whale who can pump/dump the markets at his will (but I guess there's none anymore because the buying and selling groups are looking proportionally divided due to crypto being in the game for more than a decade now).
960  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Electrum site and download Pinned by Google Ads! on: December 13, 2020, 10:59:05 PM
--snip--
Just stop using it. It's the most rational thing one can do. Twitter and Google are both wittingly allowing scams to be promoted in the crypto community to destroy our image. It's not a mistake or incompetence; it's a strategy. Funny how a corporation can knowingly accept money from criminals and not be liable for it, but we have a semi-shit reputation as a crypto community for so-called "heavy crime usage".

It's not funny at all, people are knowingly using that shit search engine (not to forget we even have it here as a "part" of this forum) to try to search for the best results and I admire that they do give us the ^best results^ but one of my elder siblings told me that you can't find a pair of shoes that get stolen from a temple.  Cheesy

But the worst thing is that, they are here just for the sake of money and don't give a damn to our privacy as they simply sell our data to companies that are eager to know more about you so to dominate you and get you to purchase what you just searched there. I've never heard of Google doing a double-check before allowing a website that allows downloads like the one posted by OP, but there are very few websites which they've banned for being malicious (for which people are trying to give $100 daily to use our AdWords account in order to advertise their site on Google).
