101  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The People VS. Ukyo (AKA WeExchange 2nd Stage Scam)! Currently ~$500,000 on: November 21, 2013, 10:58:15 PM
I did catch him earlier. I told him he really needs to post -something-, put it that way.

For now we should sit tight. We're all in this boat and going off on one isn't going to fix anything. He knows how frustrated people are, and I can tell that the guy is super stressed (as he should be).

I do know he has plans for WeExchange as he's said here, and he can't proceed with anything until this issue is resolved. There is no reason to think he's run off with the money since he's not anonymous and has everything to lose if this goes bad. I also know he's been seeking help from other devs in the Bitcoin world, which I think he's posted about previously.

This contrasts with the TradeFortress situation. Please don't confuse the two.

He's definitely trying to resolve things, but obviously I'm not exactly happy as I'm owed one of the larger sums. Even so, I do think we should give this another week or two to get sorted.

The lack of anonymity is crucial here, ukyo is not going anywhere. The important thing is resolving the situation rather than making it worse.

I have over 75 BTC waiting, which is most of my funds, and I know others who have more at stake who've agreed to give this a bit more time, so I hope some of you can too.

I'm travelling now but I'll have another catch up early next week (Monday or Tuesday).

is that catch him earlier means that  you have a face to face conversation with him? please share more information with US.

Great , do you know UKYO and are You the director of Weex?  can you tell us what happen there for stop spreading FUD... Thanks

103  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The People VS. Ukyo (AKA WeExchange 2nd Stage Scam)! Currently ~$500,000 on: November 21, 2013, 10:34:09 PM
I forgot... ukyo being a board member of Asicminer isnt a relieve since he sold this shares practically as Passthrough Shares... he still have the shares but got the bitcoins for them from other users and is paying out the divs instead. He still has to own the shares since it would be noticed if the div-address was changed.
But this way his board seat is no indicator that he has enough money.
He sold AM shares to Rockiex (another board member in AM) and Rockiex paid him about 250 BTC for that transaction in last month, but I do not know what exactly  how many shares of AM had been sold for that 250 BTC, however I remember that after this transaction someone was successfully redeem his loan for 40 BTC with UKYO... I do not know wether UKYO is sold other's pass-through or his own shares, because I was seen someone post that the PASS THROUGH in BF is not same as it according to Friedcat in forum or the Chinese Group chat. (I can't remember exactly ,it been a while).

I am really worry about our wealth , seems all things shows that less likely he does continually processing manual  withdraws , and there are nobody post over forum says get back his/her BTC out from WeEx.

Also if Great is the director of WeEx and BF, he must knows somethings. I really hope anyone in this forum get contact with Great as him to explains what happen with WeEx.. We can't let this situation continuing ,the more time take ,the more risk and more less likely we will get our Coins back as well as the coins lent to UKYO and Great.
104  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Ukyo.Loan - Paying 0.05% daily. on: November 21, 2013, 04:39:28 PM
I think the more time pass ,the more risk of our funds... It is the time our loan holders and those who can't withdraw coins from Weexchang to become together and get a layer to against him......

That's a last resort because if he doesn't have much in the way of funds, no one will be getting anything the moment his business stops. I'm certain he's not run away with everyone's money.

The loan issue is very different from the WeExchange issue. He made a critical mistake stating it could be repaid any time when this made no sense. He needs to sort that out with Loan holders.

WeExchange, however, is actually other people's money which was never loaned. In theory they are all still present and correct. It's the WeEx issues that are making everyone increasingly nervous and asking for the loan to be repaid. If WeEx was sorted out today (hah!) at least confidence would start to go up rather than down.

It already nearly a month without any evidence from UKYO to prove that technical problem within WeEx ,however he keeps everything under his own secret, this really hurting our confidence in no matter the loans and WeEx withdraw issue.. from my personal view I hope he can sort out everything smoothly without mess, but I have no way to seen that anything shows positive .and this really increasing my worry over my loans and the BTC stuck in WeEx.

He was on IRC briefly yesterday. Helped Kleeck out with something I think. The transcript was posted up.

Anyway ,there is nothing I can do right now, but if things unchanged util next year, we should consider to taking some legal action against him.

Has anybody gotten their withdrawal processed?
Ukyo, I would advise you make updates on a daily basis and at least take the time to respond to each of us who are asking questions.

111  Economy / Securities / Re: [WeExchange]WARNING!The Fall of Ukyo II: Ukyo Digs a Hole?!WARNING![WeExchange] on: November 18, 2013, 11:03:55 PM
Still don't think it is reasonable comparison.

For example, I had 200 bucks in Gox the last few weeks.  Today I bought the equivalent and transferred my 200 out in Bitcoin. Immediately.  Not a month+ please with no reply.

Really, let's not get caught up in the hypothetical details. I think anyone would see that you just can't compare WeExchange's withdrawal difficulties to Gox's.

Added to the fact the Ukyo took out a huge loan (over 500k) which there are worries about as well and anyone can see that we have a problem here.

Maybe the problem is technical and Ukyo in fact just can't work out the withdraws. But it is reasonable and legitimate to worry and or doubt that is the case, so people have the right to complain and enquire further.
This loan is worth over million USD!!!!! I want my BTC back!!!!!
112  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Ukyo.Loan - Paying 0.05% daily. on: November 18, 2013, 10:20:28 PM

UKYO...I can redeem my loans at really good price ,please contact me ~~thank U

I think Ascension should give us more information about how many bitcoins was lost and the proof of that lost.

Investors should understand that we'd better not have any legal issue in the future. The business is under good operation is much more important for all investors.

My suggestion is: We can find somebody do a pass-through on Havelock(HL). This person shall be the only direct shareholder to hold all shares owned by who wanna pass-through their shares. And when btcquick setup on HL, he shall transfer shares to other investors. In this case, from btcquick's prospective, This person is the legal share holder, other pass-through investors are not. From investors perspective, they get liquidity. From this person's prospective, he can get management fees from dividends.

We can try if Ascension and other investors agree. This pass-through is nothing to do with btcquick in the future.

For all investors, I suggest we support btcquick to operate this business legally. This is most important, and I see some investors don't know that. Look at BTCT and BF, if you were the investor of BTCT, what could happen to you?

I hold around 1million shares of BTCQUICK , I do 100% agree to issue a PT shares in HF...we need someone who is reliable to dealing with this issue, if Ascension is reject to immigrating our shares from BF to HF...then he just not consider of others feeling, because no available  liquidity is totally  be irresponsible for investors.

It's not a matter of care or not, it's legal issue. But PT is still a way to do it.

If there are legal issue ,they should do a fully research before issuing its IPO. what u think?

Yes, in between processing withdraws my time is mostly spent redesigning the wallet system to be able to handle large business needs.
Right now I am doing the tests using a new wallet since the old one is tied up 24/7 with withdraws.

-Ukyo

Hopefully you can get the new system work asap...because I think because the BTC price is quite good right now  and most people dont want to lose their opportunities to take advantages from it...

Best Regard

More details on what happened.

How many BTC were at that exchange?
How many exchanges do you use?
Was 2FA enabled if not why the hell not?
How did you fall for a social engineering email? Oldest trick in the book?

You can't keep secrets from shareholders, especially when everyone here wants the company to succeed and will only help with suggestions and solutions.  There is no point keeping everyone in the dark.

And can you explain why don't you move shares to HF? as HF a legal place to trade our shares, We need liquidity!!! Can we have the right to choose list this stock in other place? please do not make it become whatever direct shares...this equal to seized our investment opportunity!~

It does not matter where the shares are moved to, the same legal issues arise.

as a shareholder We need liquidity even it only a little bit ...it is still better then become nothing ? and legal issue? if there are legal problem why still you process the IPO? I invested around 100BTC into BTCQUICK , I need liquidity and I need you works on the legal issue~~ you should take concern of other people's feeling ....there are nothing 100% so called legally operation in BTC related business! We need you to list this company on HF...please!!!!!!
