Anyway, wtf is going on with Delhi? lol
DC is fully dependent on their opening pair and in particular J. Fraser-McGurk. He did his part and got them a good beginning , as usual they didn't use it for themselves. This is not the first time that he helped DC. What I feel bad is that as soon as Rishab Pant was announced as part of the team his abilities as a batter can be questioned.

For me what we see is what we know. As for me Rishabh Panth is struggling after getting selected. The question now is to know whether BCCI selection team will rethink what they selected. Starting with Rohit Sharma and a few others on that list.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL Cricket on: May 07, 2024, 02:40:43 PM
It does not matter now if DC wins against RR as the latter is comfortably placed in the second spot on the point table. What I want is whether Jake Fraser-McGurk can again repeat his batting abilities. If I am correct he has not been selected for the final squad of Australia which will be playing in the upcoming T20WC. As for RR, I would love to watch these three batters Jaiswal, Parag, and Jurel. Jaiswal is back in action which is good for the Indian team as he is part of the squad whereas the other two are promising and they might be on the radar of BCCI.

Let me guess, the AI response bots haven't indexed enough information about BIP119 so they aren't able to reply to this thread.

No one cares about a developer who created the controversial protocol and left the scene when he was questioned. X.com formerly known as Twitter is a platform where drunks come alive to vent their frustration. I think this is what he has done with those tweets, BTW, before being judgemental do think about other aspects as there are tons of articles published about BIP119 in the year 2022 a simple google search can do the work.

MI is now getting into the spoilers party along with RCB, made things tough for SRH who thought will end up in the first 2 positions.

SKY showed his class with 102*, but he is kind of struggled in the midway hope there's no injury or we might see a forced change int T20 squad. Once again MI openers failed and form for Rohit is big concern now for India.

Finally, will they rest Bumrah who needs a break before the WC for sure and there's no point for forcing him to play when there's zero possibility for them to qualify.

They won because SKY made a thrilling comeback just before the T20WC otherwise they would have lost again. Hardik Pandya bowled well if I compare his bowling previously in the IPL, he got 3 wickets and was more economical than he has been. If I am correct with my calculation, SRH needs to win 2 games out of the three left, so hopefully they will not have many problems qualifying for the playoffs. Their NRR is still better than LSG for now but they need to bring it up as it has gone into the negative zone.

Rohit Sharma has been struggling after the ODIWC and might again do it right when he starts playing in the ICC event. The problem with Rohit is that if he goes to bat on pitches that are not batter friendly he tends to lose his wicket too early if not then he keeps on batting till he gets to his half-century. The biggest problem with him now is his fitness which should be a big concern for BCCI. He does know that this WC will be his last to get the trophy otherwise he will never be known as a captain who won the trophy as for batting he has been over shadowed by Kohli.
106  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: May 07, 2024, 10:23:03 AM
Rohit always had a weak link against pacers with the new ball, but his hitting ability is what covered it for long. We should not forget he got a 100 in this year for MI as well against MI.

That is the only century that he has got in IPL 2024. Out of 11 innings he managed to get 326 runs after including that century. His batting abilities in the present time are no matches to what he used to do in his younger days. As a 37 year old this will be his last try to get a World Cup trophy. If this time he is unsuccessful then his PR team won't be able to help him gain sympathy from the country.

He is in the worst form of his career, he has fitness issues and has the worst stats in this IPL. Considering all the above issues why BCCI still wants Rohit to captain a team which is going play the T20WC. Media and every cricket fan are so much obsessed with Kohli that they forget about Rohit's batting for the last three or four years. If today Kohli retires then it will be an end for Rohit career as he will be forced to retire from all formats of cricket.

It sounds good that most of the time you make investment in Bitcoin which is a prudent decision in view of leading its leading role in cryptocurrencies market with it distinguished features. As far Shiba Inu, whether to hold it or sell them in bullish market is ultimately your choice depending on your fincnail circumstances and risk tolerance level,  however if were in your shoes, I would consider converting most of them into Bitcoin.

After I decided to keep those tokens on my local exchange, I discovered that my country's tax law requires me to pay a 30 percent tax on any capital gains and a 1 percent TDS (Tax Deduction at Source). This means that if I sell those coins, I will end up paying more in taxes than I would make from the airdrop. Therefore, I have decided to hold onto my Shiba Inu tokens until they have a USD value that is high enough to cover the taxable amount. In short, I am not going to do anything with these coins until I believe they are profitable for me after taxes.
You've pretty much summed up what you should do now, considering the tax law in your country, because it won't make financial sense to sale at a lose. As it is, it's best to hold on to your Shiba Inu, till it's value reaches what can be meaningful to sale and convert to fiat or reinvest in a reputable crypto like Bitcoin. Although I consider Shiba Inu, as a top altcoin that is worth holding, because it's not a scam project, people are however speculating that it's market cap, could make it not to be very bullish in this season. Your not left with much choice but to keep holding it, good luck.

What you are saying is what I realized after a day. The government will make my life hell even though it is a small amount of money. It is better for me keep it dormant unless those tokens are giving me a good multiplier, to which I am expecting somewhere around 10x or more. Already those tokens are again pumping due to sudden surge in Bitcoin price. I think it is evident for me to keep posting returns from those tokens for everyone here to contemplate whether meme coins can make them rich in some time or not.

Great! You took it to the uncle's and auntie's level 😆. This is nothing but Jay Shah trying to get some political gain and satisfying the orthodox vote bank. I am confident  that we will now see shit debates on those shit Hindi media houses who have already created a mockery of themselves with thier shit reporting.

This is not about hiring the best designers, this is all about saffron colour. I don't dare nor I care where this political gimmick is going to get with discrimination, what I cared was my team wearing a Jersey that signifies being blue and bleed blue.
There is virtually no need to go that route, don't forget our flag has saffron in it and there was no Jay Shah or BJP at that moment.

Even the 2007 T-20 and 2011 WC winning teams had Saffron on their jerseys and again there was no BJP at that time.

I am not going into that route but I am concerned with these guys forcing to include the saffron colour for everything. Even if they did it, which I am assuming they should have made it look superb, they should have made it look good.

You have already talked about the stripes and indeed those white colour Adidas stripe on the the saffron looks ugly. I am assuming they would have made those stripes shining something that the MI team has in the form of gold colour stripes. Don't  you think that MI are not doctoring the BCCI or influencing the BCCI selection.

I think it is a good time to ask BCCI to move their headquarters into a neutral location. Mumbai has been a place where an individual  player like Dada, who after screwing Dalmiya's daughter still got the position of a secretary of BCCI whereas he wasn't anything but a good captain for me.

Leaked picture of Indian jersey for the T20 World Cup

If this is the actual Jersey then it is one of the worst Jersey that I have seen. What were the designers smoking while thinking about the colour combination. What do you guys think about this Jersey?
Billions of dollars in the piggy bank but these fucks can't hire decent designers for literally anything.

With this color combination, those white stripe on the shoulder looks absolutely hideous. It reminds me of a group of uncles/aunties who play badminton and practice yoga in the morning.

Two teams, namely KK and RR, have already secured their position in the playoffs. Today, we have a match between MI and SRH. If SRH wins today's match, they will need to win two more games to secure their position in the playoffs.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔥 BC.GAME IPL 2024 Participant’s Exclusive Discussion Thread on: May 06, 2024, 12:13:31 PM
That was a fluke win and once in a while RCB plays best than they even imagine themselves. My expectations were shattered that is the truth and this time it was due to RCB fielders being disciplined on the field and bowlers like Shiraj coming back to his form. The batting was again average except the captain and Kohli's initial run chase in the first powerplay they wouldn't have been able to to chase a small target of less than 150 runs. I still don't believe they will be able to get into the playoffs. CSK has already won today and if LSG defeats KKR then it would make it difficult for RCB to reach in the top 4 in the point table.
I don't see it's fluke win especially after how they defeated GT in both the games.

First win was comprehensive, second one wasn't that comprehensive especially the way wickets fell after initial Faf's dismissal, a bit more score to chase and result could have gone other way.

They are completely dependent on the openers which is correct but I have also seen that if Virat gets to a good start then they do win. Virat did start well but stayed back as Faf was timing the ball. As soon as Virat was out they started losing wickets and if GT had 180 or more on the scoreboard as a target they would have defeated RCB as I said earlier it was a fluke win.

KKR and RR are already in the playoffs the competition is between CSK, SRH, and LSG. Today we have a match between MI and SRH and if SRH loses the match today then LSG will get the opportunity to enter into the race to secure a berth in the playoffs.

snip.
Ugh! Why did they include orange in the jersey? Why not other colors like white, grey, mustard, yellow, and so on? BCCI has ruined the jersey by adding the favorite color of the ruling party. This is what we call stooping to the next level without even realizing the repercussions.

113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations Not Working as Planned?? on: May 05, 2024, 03:22:43 PM
Personally I think governments are having a hard time trying to control crypto because even they do not understand it completely. Its decentralized nature makes it hard for the government to just grab it by its neck and kill it. Crypto is a very gray area if you will so regulations must be wisely implemented.

I have read the list of government ruling in their respective countries that are holding Bitcoin. List of countries holding the biggest stach of Bitcoin. That means the government of thse countries are trying to gain from Bitcon rather confiscating it or selling it in the global market.

Next, we can see how a few countries like the US have come up with ETFs so that they can control a decentralized product through their financial institution. This is just the beginning we will be seeing more of such ways to try and take control of Bitcoin and it's price.

Do you still think the government are having a hard time to understand and accumulate Bitcoin for their own agenda. I doubt they are clueless and I think they are on thier path to make a decentralized economy to centralized economy.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Got 1 Million $SHIB airdroped in a trading competition! What Should I do? on: May 05, 2024, 02:58:03 PM
The amount of tokens that I have received looks big but the actual value of those tokens in USD is not much. If I go ahead and sell those tokens for Bitcoin I wouldn't be able to withdraw them due to Bitcon exchange transaction fees.

I think it is appropriate for me to forget about those tokens and let them stay in the exchange wallet. If in future this narrative of meme coins continues and gives me a decent profit then I might will go ahead and sell those tokens for Bitcoin.

As of now I think it is better to wait for the next bull run and wait for the right time to get a good profit.

Do you guys think it is good idea?
115  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What can we do to make Bitcoin hit $100k on: May 05, 2024, 02:32:15 PM
I have always been thinking about what we could do to make Bitcoin hit a tremendous amount.

Is there anything we could do??

Go through the timeline from when Bitcoin was just $0.10 (2010) and reached $73k in 2024. What did the community do? We will do nothing for the price of Bitcoin to reach $100K. We will all wait again patiently and keep on holding and accumulating Bitcoin until we reach the designated price point. Do remember if you are a diamond hand you will always be in profit.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔥 BC.GAME IPL 2024 Participant’s Exclusive Discussion Thread on: May 05, 2024, 02:18:20 PM

They proved you wrong, bro. Grin

RCB knocking GT back to back in home and way games given some confidence that an outside chance to qualify still exists.

IMO, the knock from Will Jacks helped the openers to play with more free approach that's been the most destructive apart from SRH's and finished the chance in the first 5 overs itself but then a blunder they lost 6 back to back wickets then finally DK and Swapnil had to finish the match in just 14 overs.

To the surprise they are now at no.7.

Investors trusted the organization and they backstab and now Karma plays its part. This is how these scammers should be dealt with and good job by Dutch police. I hope all 10,000 investors get their initial investment back it will take time for sure but I am certain that they will get their invested ETH back. I am not sure but why would a gambling startup think scamming can be more profitable than gambling?
118  Local / India / Re: ED seize and possess funds from scam is new and unexpected! on: May 04, 2024, 02:56:44 PM
Yeah it seems that the exchanges mentioned in the topic were only being used as mule or dummy accounts to store the stolen funds in and those are the ones that have been seized, the exchanges have nothing bad to do with it.

Indeed this is just the tip of an iceberg of the rampant crypto related scams that were happening in the country at that time. Good to see that at least some of the scammers are facing the music.

Whether this will change the bank freezes or not, not sure. The government still was way more work to do in this sector.

It's quite unfortunate that after some of these scammers have successfully stolen from people they go over to save the asset in the crypto network. Thus, making the government to see crypto as a sure fortress for concealing illegal stolen asset due to its decentralised/anonymous nature.  Anyway it's obvious karma has started catching up with some of these persons , but what matter most is the government conception about crypto, if only they see the opportunity that lies within they can not change their attitude towards it.

A new way these scammers found out but unfortunately they delayed it and got caught. I sometimes feel Indian scammers are not that well-versed in the current surroundings. Parvati_j congratulations on ranking up and becoming a Jr. Member.

Even if you are transferring money through current account it still doesn't guarantee your credibility.
There's no assurance that you will pay the money to the opposite party.
So you need to gain trust or provide a collateral or go through an escrow to increase your reputation and gain trust.

My question is who will pay the escrow fee? I doubt the seller would pay the fee as he has multiple options and I doubt OP would be interested in the fee as he is providing a solution. There is zero solution and I do not think anyone will be interested in this offer as this OP is least trusted. I will request the OP to come out with the original account as I suspect this is an alt account of the OP. I can prove it if the OP can quote my reply as I dare he would not.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I Got 1 Million $SHIB airdroped in a trading competition! What Should I do? on: May 04, 2024, 02:01:39 PM
A trading competition is happening at a local exchange in my country. The exchange is a trusted and established one and I have zero doubt about the $SHIB tokens I can receive as a reward in my Shiba Inu exchange wallet. I have been using this exchange since 2018 without any major issues, so you can understand the amount of confidence I have in them.

I mostly invest in Bitcoin, and sometimes in important altcoins. However, I don't believe in the concept of meme coins and don't pursue them. I'm interested in knowing whether I should continue holding onto my current tokens until the next bull run, or if I should sell them to buy Bitcoin or other altcoins. I would appreciate a piece of good advice from the community.
