1041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some of country can offer you legal gambling in 2023! on: September 17, 2023, 06:26:46 AM
OP you can add two more names to that list. Macao & HongKong the both are special administrative region of China. So technically you can add China to that list by mentioninsh the name of these two region. I do not think there are any other countries apart from that has been mentioned where gambling is legal. There are some countries where lottery is legal but other form of gambling is illegal. I think you can add the names of those countries separately on the OP.
1042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket Asia Cup 2023! Which team will WIN? on: September 17, 2023, 06:10:38 AM
The Final!

Just checked the weather for Colombo, it is mostly cloudy for today. Hopefully the final match won't be interrupted by rain as per the weather update. The team that bat first will actually enjoy the early bat friendly pitch which some how becomes spinner paradise as the match progresses. Expecting this match to be a close one otherwise it doesn't interest me if a team dominates the match.

Wishing Best of Luck to both the teams.

Remember: Always read the rules carefully on the campaign announcement page, before you apply for any signature campaign.
He do read the rules carefully because he wore the avatar until the week ended, can you pointed out is there any rule "jumping into other campaign will result no payment regardless the cycle end or not"?

The below is what he wrote on Yomix signature campaign thread to the BM. He has himself did the post count. That is the reason I asked him to read the rules of a signature campaign before doing anything.
I got accepted in another campaign. My last post count is 675. Thanks Royse for the opportunity of working with you.

1044  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do we get the completed posts payment. on: September 16, 2023, 05:29:29 AM
One of the basic rule of Signature Campaign is to never remove the signature + avatar until you have received your weekly payment. If you haven't received your weekly payment then contact the BM. He would give you the answer to your question. Asking here won't help you and in getting paid.

Remember: Always read the rules carefully on the campaign announcement page, before you apply for any signature campaign.

1045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If only property I have is bitcoin on: September 16, 2023, 04:40:00 AM
Bitcoin inheritance is a problem only if you don't have anyone trustworthy. If you trust your partner then share your seed phrase or inform them where you have kept your seed phrase. It is imperative that you teach them how to use those phrases. You cannot do anything else apart from what I have told you. There was a serious discussion on the same topic on another forum.

This was the solution that came up for such situation. There will be other suggestions on this thread, you gan go through them and do what looks right for you. Take the decision as soon as possible as life is unpredictable.

Inda lost this match by 6 runs only Brilliant innings by Shubman Gill but Bangladesh proved to be too good for India. Without Virat Kohli it looked more like Bangladesh was stronger than India. Although It was a dead rubber pitch India won't mind but a morale booster for Bangladesh after a below par Asia Cup performance. Going into the World Cup it will give Bangladesh pretty much confidence. Congratulations Shakib ul Hasan and the Bangladesh team for this amazing victory. Bangladesh did what Pakistan couldn't win against India. Excellent death overs by Mustafizur Rehman & Tanzim Hasan made Bangladesh Successful after 4200 days to win an ODI in the Asia Cup.

Bangladesh was able to win because of excellent spin bowling. Kohli is not only the reason for Indian team  loss. There are multiple reason but most importantly Bangladesh won because India had rested most of their players for this match. Just imagine if Bhumrah & Kuldeep Yadav were playing yesterday would Bangladesh batters would have scored those runs. India only wanted to test those players who have been on the bench since the start of this tournament. Now the selectors and the team management are aware who to be called upon in case of an emergency in the World Cup.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket Asia Cup 2023! Which team will WIN? on: September 16, 2023, 01:37:35 AM
At last, Bangladesh won in another close match. Good bowling by the Bangladesh bowlers unfortunately, Shubhman Gill's 121 runs could not help the Indian side. They started off very badly with Rohit getting out for a duck followed by the debutant Tilak Verma for just 5 runs. Bangladesh spinners utilized the pitch to keep a good check on the Indian batters. They expected This kind of performance when playing against Srilanka in the Super 4 match. Yesterday's win does not impact anything but will give them a morale boost for the World Cup.

It does not look good for Tilak Verma as he was out cheaply in a non-pressure match. There are too many contenders who are looking to get a chance to wear the Indian jersey and play for the country. The opportunity that he got is hard to come and if it does come he should not destroy it. I was expecting him to bat and score double-digit runs whereas he had other things in his mind.
1048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some Countries living behind their century, taking a back sit on BTC evolution. on: September 15, 2023, 07:19:10 AM
These countries lack in mordern infrastructure and are part of third world countries. The government are aware of Bitcoin but do not want thier citizens to venture into it. The main reason they want to keep a tight control on them. Another reason the rich want to stay rich. Those rich fund thier government to keep Bitcoin away from a common civilian. That is the reason they have either banned Bitcoin or have strict laws. Even after doing so much against Bitcoin we would find many citizens indulging in Bitcoin related activities. The government still doesn't understand that Bitcoin is currency that cannot be stopped by local laws
1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket Asia Cup 2023! Which team will WIN? on: September 15, 2023, 06:06:13 AM
snip..

Bangladesh never had a chance in the Asia Cup. The hot favourite before the tournament started were Srilanka as they  were continuously winning ODIs. The second team were Pakistan as they are the number one team in ICC ODI ranking. India never had a chance as there were too many injuries and big players were out of form.

Suddenly everything changed for India after the second match with Pakistan. Pakistan still had a chance of defeating Srilanka and enter the finals but they gave it away due to many reasons. Bangladesh VS India is a practice match for India. I am not sure how Bangladesh would treat this game.
1050  Local / India / Re: UPI ATM! Another achivement in Fintech by India on: September 15, 2023, 05:57:43 AM
I don't think Axis bank are charging any UPI transactions. I am using Axis and haven't seen any UPI charges.
If your account is salary account, there will not be any fees but for savings account there is, and they bury it under Folio Charge, so mostly we won't see it until we notice it. I can't find the folio charge in most of the banks but I found on KVB fee structure also confirmed with my bank manager.

The total number of debit transactions permitted in all such accounts put together will be limited to 90 per half-year. When number of transactions is more than the maximum stipulated, a service charge of Rs. 2.25/- (inclusive of GST) will be levied for each transaction in excess of 90 transactions.

Account Related Charges | Service Charges and Fees | KVB

So every UPI payment will be considered as debit and different bank has different limits which varies, that is why it is important to mix up bank accounts while using savings accounts for all our UPI TXs.

Isn't KVB a government undertaking bank? I wasn't able to find any information regarding it. Considering KVB applying those charges which are hidden. Imagine what hidden charges are charged by banks like ICICI, Kotak and other private sector bank. I once had a saving account with HSBC they were notorious in charging customer. For everything you do on your savings account they would have some changes or the other after a certain limit. I cancelled my account and moved to SBI, till date they have not charged me anything stupid. After your revelation about hidden transaction charge I would be contacting the Branch manager about it.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket Asia Cup 2023! Which team will WIN? on: September 15, 2023, 04:08:15 AM
The hope of watching Pakistan play in the final of the Asia Cup 2023 was destroyed by Babar Azams's poor captaincy yesterday. Pakistan batters did really well on a pitch that supported spinners but what about running between the wickets? They could have added an additional 50 runs if they had taken those singles and doubles. The outcome of the match would have been different if those runs were on the scoreboard.

I was expecting Pakistan to defend the target of 252 runs, sloppy fielding and bad bowling is the reason for the loss. Shahdab Khan, Shahenshah Afridi, and Iftikhar Ahmad were leaking runs. They did take wickets but that did not help the Pakistan team as their economy was either near to 6 or above 6. Why wasn't Mohammad Nawaz given his full set of overs? He was doing good in restraining the Srilankan batters. Why was a debutant, Zaman Khan given the last over to bowl which was so crucial? These are some questions that the PCB needs to ask Babar Azam.

India takes on Bangladesh today, which for India would be a practice match. They are already in the finals and Bangladesh is already out of the tournament. It would be the right time for the Indian team management to try out those players who have sitting in the dugout. It will not only give rest to some players before the final, but it will also help the management decide on a replacement if any player gets injured in the World Cup.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket Asia Cup 2023! Which team will WIN? on: September 14, 2023, 07:10:47 AM
Looking at the spin-assisted wicket, today Pakistan announced an additional spinner in the squad where Mohammad Nawaz got a place in the squad. Along with Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz, Iftikhar Ahmed will certainly help Pakistan's spinners. It is very difficult to bat on the wicket that has been made so we will see low scoring matches today as well.

Every cricket player goes through a phase where nothing works in their favour. Shadab Khan is struggling but he is one of the best spin bowler that Pakistan has for now. Do remember he was the guy how was getting hit by Rohit Sharma on the first day of India VS Pakistan match. He came back hard and got his wicket.

Good decision by Pakistan management by adding Mohammad Nawaz to their squad. He has a good amount of experience in ODI and can be a game changer. Iftikhar Ahmed is good batter but not a good spinner. He can be considered as a partime bowler, last match he was struggling against the Indian batting attack.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia will ban Gambling through credit cards on: September 14, 2023, 07:01:59 AM
What about offline gambling? If use of credit card is being prohibited for online gambling then it should be applied for offline gambling too. I understand credit card is a form of lending and gambling using loaned money is not advisable. Why then target online gambling it should be applied for any form of gambling.

I suspect the main concern is crypto gambling as there is a considerable rise in online gambler who are shifting from fiat casino to crypto casino. Naturally the government is not able to generate the revenue it was generating earlier. That will be the only reason why they said about the amount of fiat loss to the country.
1054  Local / India / Re: Beware Some Indian Exchanges are facing INR withdrawal issues! on: September 14, 2023, 06:21:20 AM
I am facing with coinbase as they are to move funds to some other wallet. Does somebody give me any good online wallet for storing BTC and bch?

I had only $200  so online wallet is best.

25 sep is the last date to close the account by coinbase.
1. Unstoppable wallet: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5436273.0
2. Electrum wallet: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=98.0

Thanks.

The above two are highly recommended wallets on the forum. As you are searching for a hot wallet, there is another one you can check. It is known as the Komodo wallet. It is open source and non-custodial. You can store both BTC and BCH as it is a multi-crypto wallet, swap crypto using Atomic Swap. The only disadvantage it has is that you can only download it on an Android device. Here is the direct link to their website: Komodo wallet

You are right Coinbase has asked certain Indian users to withdraw funds as they will be shut their accounts after 25th of this month. They have also stopped new user sign up for India. In all likelihood they are shutting their operations in India.
1055  Local / India / Re: Indian crypto exchanges under regulations of RBI on: September 14, 2023, 05:58:15 AM
RBI is the reason why we have tax but nil regulations. They were the ones advocating a complete ban in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Now they will become the in charge of cryptocurrency exchanges. This is not looking good although they have ruled out a ban but still they can again place a blanket ban if this kind of regulatory framework comes in India.

Back in 2018 they were the ones who placed a blanket ban. They never bothered to inform the government about it and directly forward a directive to all banks. If they start controlling Indian crypto exchanges they can place harsh directives. Already with the tax law a lot of exchanges have reported low volume. Next they might shut shop or move out of India.

I don't understand how can a local fiat currency regulator and decision maker decide about cryptocurrency. The RBI governer has said multiple times in Public that crypto is a threat to India. If he thinks in such a manner then would he allow it to survive in our economy. It is a bad idea to give RBI control, it would have been wise if a seperate body would have created in this area.
1056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket Asia Cup 2023! Which team will WIN? on: September 14, 2023, 04:44:52 AM
Pakistan VS Srilanka

One from these two will qualify for the final match against India. The match will be played in Premadasa Stadium. Spinners again will play a crucial roles in today's match. The team that will win the toss today would be batting first. As early in the day this pitch does help the batters and later on it becomes spin friendly.

Dunith Wellalage and Shadab Khan are the players to look forward today. Both are good spinners and have the ability to bat. I am still not aware whether Naseem Shah will be playing today. If not then it would be another blow to the Pakistani bowling attack. Hoping to see another thrilling match today.

~snip~
Nothing new for the ruling party, they are known for disrupting the political peace in India. They were able to successfully stop the opposition alliance from interfering in the G20 summit by announcing the special session of Parliament before the summit. Till now no one knows what agenda or bill would be up for discussion. The opposition is in the guessing mode and is trying to prepare for the discussion without knowing what to discuss.  Grin

According to some media reports UCC & declaring Kashmir as a state might happen between 18th to 22nd of this month. If these two topics come up in this session ,then another milestone would be achieved by the ruling party. For the time being we can keep guessing just like the opposition has been doing so far.
I am not sure about statehood for J&K atm, looks way too early to me. Right now J&K (Valley) looking calm and things are heading to normalcy but it's a long game, surely need a carrot and stick policy.

Hurriyat is losing ground drastically but the government can't be complacent and needs a minimum of another decade to clean all dirt. They need to destroy soft separatism sentiments from the ecosystem, It already started but it will take some time.

Yeah, you are right things are way different in Kashmir now. Before 2019 everything was out of control and peace was a distant dream. I only quoted what is circulating in the mainstream media. You cannot disagree that the ruling party has the habit of suprising everyone in the country. No one has been able to stop PM Modi from taking bold decisions except the farmers. For now everyone is clueless as to what will be discussed in the upcoming session of the Parliament. In a few days time we would know what has been cooking? 😜
1058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Franklin Templeton files for a spot Bitcoin ETF on: September 13, 2023, 06:48:41 AM
The latest company to throw their hat in the ring. While I don’t think this alone is a huge story, the overall picture of many companies filing applications for a spot ETF suddenly shows that maybe something has changed among regulators and the industry has caught wind that they’re ready to mass approve Bitcoin spot ETFs.

I don't think all ETFs would get approved in one go. Like Blackrock we can expect other rejection, before the SEC approves a few. Recently I came across an article about the long awaited Bitcoin accounting rules. I believe it might be another reason why every financial institution are applying for Bitcoin ETFs. Another might be the global regulation timeline submitted by IMF in the concluded G20 summit. It talks about global regulatory framework and not country specific. I may be wrong with my assessment as to why there is a sudden surge of ETFs application.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big capital, small risk or small capital big risk - which is best approach? on: September 13, 2023, 06:30:53 AM
Both can be considered good strategy depending on the outcome. I think big capital would result in more win as you get more chances. Those who gamble regularly prefer this option than small capital. The only negative part is that when you lose you lose a big amount. I prefer less capital and if required I would increase the amount depending on the odds. Sometimes I make profit and sometimes loss depending on my approach. There is no fixed strategy always, it depends on the situation most of the time.
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket Asia Cup 2023! Which team will WIN? on: September 13, 2023, 05:52:37 AM
At the start of Asia Cup 2023, India were the underdogs. Pakistan and Sri Lanka were favorites to play against each other in the finals. Now, they would be playing against each other to get into the finals. Yesterday again I saw a totally different Indian team playing against the Srilanka side.

The Indian batters struggled to score runs on a pitch that had uneven bounce and supported spinners. Srilankan spinner Welalage was the reason the Indian middle order got wiped out in just a couple of overs. Only a handful of Indian batters were able to make runs and gave a target of only 213 runs to the Srilanka batter to chase. 213 runs is not a big score considering it was a 50-over match.

To my surprise and several cricket fans across the globe, this Indian team was able to defend it. There were a couple of misfields but the Indian fielders but the bowling was again outstanding. Kuldeep Yadav took 4 wickets, Bhumrah took 2 & Jadeja took 2 wickets. What was even more surprising was that Srilanka lost this match by a good margin of 41 runs on their home ground. They were undefeated in their last 13 ODI matches which got broken yesterday.
