Non-KYC exchange with CeFi and DeFi facility, I will check this exchange and then get back to you, if I face any issues. I am not someone who can trust a new exchange unless I check it and then I would test it for some time then only I will recommend it to everyone here on the local board and the global board. I do see that you are running a Bounty Campaign and it would be interesting to see how effectively the promised tokens to Bounty Hunters are paid.
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a different kind of wonder on: January 17, 2024, 12:19:50 PM

I believe Bitcoins price should be at least twice for Miners to continue running their Hardware efficiently after Halving.  Costs of running the Hardware are the same but you get half the income.  I am not a Miner however so I may be B S ing.

They will enjoy high fees because the spam on the main network won't end after the halving. I am sure it will increase and we might again witness atrocious fees that can go beyond 200sat/vB. The miners know it and the developers want the network to get spammed, to keep them from moving anywhere else. I feel this is the first time that the miners are making more in fees than they did in the previous halvings.

Snip..

A small advice when you write on a particular topic ensure that it is divided into paragraphs and does not look like a wall of words. Whatever interesting and engaging topic you wrote will all go down the drain when you write in such a manner. The next suggestion of mine is to reduce the image size, if you are not so clear about BBCode then start learning as it will only help you in presenting your topic more presentable. Here is the code that you need to use while posting an image.

You can find more details in this post from BBCode on how to post images. Posting images with BBCode
543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any way to pay for AWS using Bitcoin? on: January 17, 2024, 12:00:05 PM
I am not sure from which part of the world you are as you haven't mentioned it. If you have not heard about Bitrefill prepaid card then you should check it for making payments in Bitcoin to AWS. The card is available for your usage instantly and it comes preloaded. However, it is not available globally as it only works in selected countries. There is an article by them on how to pay AWS or Hetzner using it. Here is the link to that article - Pay on AWS or Hetzner with Bitcoin, ETH, USDT or Crypto
544  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: January 17, 2024, 11:52:03 AM
The third and final T20 match India plays before participating in the T20WC will be played today. I am not expecting any big miracles from the Afghanistan team as I feel they will lose today. This series was to test the new players and so far Shubham Dubey, and Rinku Singh have been good with the bat. I feel today we might see some changes as there are a couple of players who should be given a chance. I feel Washington Sundar, Sanju Samson, and Ravi Bishnoi should be part of the playing squad. Rohit Sharma has not been able to get any runs in this series which is quite concerning. I hope he gets to debut with runs today otherwise his chance of being a captain for the T20WC would become uncertain.

Got the following message when I opened the Binance app today.

When I clicked on update it took me to Binance.me and asked me to download the updated apk file. Now, it is confirmed that those domain names were created for the Indian community in case if the situation gets bitter with the Indian government. Anyone here experienced the same thing like I did today. I mean did you guys get the same update message and were to directed to any of the domain name as informed by pawanjain in his reply.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the possibility of discovering a memecoin that could change your life? on: January 17, 2024, 10:36:53 AM
You may be able to find a new meme coin if you search for it in the right way. What you cannot control is the hype and if a shit coin does not hype you won't make the money you thought you would make from it. This is the irony of meme coins they are completely dependent on influence of the social media as they have nothing to offer to their investors. One popular way is to keep an eye on the x.com handles of celebrities and influencers who in the past have promoted meme coins. One of them is Elon Musk he has promoted meme coins in the past and he might do it in the future.
547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how wasabi, electrum, exodus ... make money ? on: January 17, 2024, 10:15:31 AM
Interesting question! I have not thought about it but knew about Wasabi and Exodus. What I never realized or thought was about Electrum wallet being a constant user of this wallet. I today came to know that they operate from donations made to them and this is pretty slick to me as it is a very good wallet. Wasabi uses Coinjoin and generates revenue from it and Exodus from features like swap, buy crypto, etc. The best wallet out of the three for me will always be Electrum wallet for Bitcoin and not the mobile one.
548  Other / Meta / Re: Question about images. on: January 16, 2024, 01:55:40 PM
I have some how come into the conclusion that the admin needs to address this situation. Coming through Google search and finding the default image issue due to Imgur is not good. The admin came up with an immediate ban on mixer, wherein he didn't find a solution to this problem.

Why not delete topics or post from users using Imgur and the placing a note or a disclaimer for the reason. I personally felt this same problem when I was trying to learn how to convert an Electrum wallet to a LN wallet. It took me sometime but it could have been simple if those guides were updated.
549  Economy / Services / Re: 👉{PAUSE}▄■▀■▄🌟Bitvest.io🌟 - Plinko Signature Campaign, Member+ {Funds Escrow] on: January 16, 2024, 01:21:40 PM

This campaign is paused until further notice, you're free to remove signature and avatar as no post after this announcement will be accounted for. I haven't heard back from lightlord so instead of continuing the campaign and owing more debts is better we pause and wait on his feedback (wallet to be refilled).

If the campaign is to resume, all exiting members will retain their spots but for now you can go and try your luck elsewhere. I'll keep you updated as I get more clarity on what's stopping the refilled.

Regards,
Brainboss.

It has become a habit of @lightlord doing the same thing. I remember in my initial days when I got selected for 777Coins signature campaign by Hhampuz and then suddenly he decided to leave the campaign. It was you who applied as a manager and then it went smoothly for a month or so and then he as in the owner started paying monthly and not weekly.

The whole equation of weekly payment got changed, and he did add a bonus, while making it monthly withdrawal ,which was exciting for me as I joined the campaign as a member rank.

The next approach that you need to take is to stay away from his campaign as I remember you have been questioned about payment not being paid in time.

Everyone do not blame the manager as he has always been clear with his approach. The problem is the owner of this campaign is not stable and tries his level best to create a void between the manger and the participants.

By the look of what has happened today it is clear that this campaign would come to an immediate halt and if it comes up again then the participants would be repaired.

550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream business succeeded on: January 16, 2024, 12:05:30 PM
Some people are born with a silver spoon and I felt after reading your post that you are one of them. I am not completely sure whether Bitcoin Lightning Network is available in your country as your customers have a habit of using LN wallets. If they are then start using layer 2 to become a profitable entrepreneur. The main chain is currently bombarded with spam and the confirmation time can vary from 10 minutes to 24 hours, sometime it might exceed.

Until this spamming of the main network goes down either use Fiat or the LN. It is my recommendation to you and since you are the owner of your establishment think before and do your math. I am happy that your dream has come true and for your growth, you should think about profitability and not about Bitcoin in the current scenario.
551  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to buy Bitcoin is around the time of Bitcoin Halving: April 22, 2024 on: January 16, 2024, 11:57:32 AM
It's not that easy to buy Bitcoin in full whereas it is easy to take a position. The highly recommended way to do this is by using DCA, which means making similar ongoing investments either every week or month. The other important thing to keep in mind is to invest the money that can be afforded to lose. If anyone invests a lump sum amount then due to Bitcoin's volatility the value of that amount in USD may dip or rise. Since it is a highly risky approach that is why DCA is recommended.
552  Local / India / Re: Shadow Ban on Crypto Exchanges on: January 16, 2024, 10:32:19 AM
I guess binance has heard your suggestion because from the "rumors" I have heard it looks like binance has launched 2 new domains.
Although we haven't received any official update from Binance yet but I have tried the URLs and came to know that we can access those domains.
But I won't recommend using them yet since Binance hasn't officially announced it yet.

The URLs are:
https://www.binance.me/en
https://www.binance.info/en

Do not login or create accounts on these domain yet as we haven't received the official announcement yet.
Keep your funds SAFU.

There isn't any official confirmation by Binance. I doubt they will make it official otherwise the government would again place a ban on these two urls immediately. When you enter these two url on Binance verify they come up as authentic url of Binance. Today in the morning I got a notification from Binance app to update it. I clicked on okay and it got redirected to binance domain which was asking me to download the new apk file but I didn't as I was not sure. Later on I check the version and it was the same as on my device. I think they are testing the apk link.

LOL! It was just a joke and they took it seriously. I never expected them to work on my joke and come up with new URLs. They have already mentioned that anyone caught using VPNs would be banned. This might be a temporary solution while they discuss it with the government of India. I don't think they are planning to run those urls permanently. If they do then I am confident they would have a surplus of Indian users signing up from India to only save TDS. It is the primary reason why the Indian crypto community shifted to international exchanges like Binance.

Next, I am expecting a few more exchanges that have KYC mandatory to come up with the same solution. Most of them are exact copycats of Binance from the day these exchanges came into existence. For example, Kucoin, Huobi, and OKX, all three follow what Binance does whenever there is a sudden change in their policy or if it is related to the listing of new coins.

554  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: January 14, 2024, 12:59:19 PM
The second match in the T20 bilateral series between India and Afghanistan would be played today. India has already won the first match in the best of three series. The match is being played in Indore so we won't see much of mist like we saw in Mohali. There no update from the dressing room whether Jaiswal would be part of the playing squad today. I am hoping to see an entertaining game of cricket today.

Jaiswal or not this bilateral series is an one sided affair, Indian team would win all games that is my prediction. This series is only a way to find the right player for the T20WC. We know who are the probables to be part of the team. The BCCI needs some extra players to fill the gap in case a player gets injured. That is the reason why they have a brand new team and are searching for the replacement using this series.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I need help about ETH-wallet on: January 14, 2024, 12:50:53 PM
Why would you want to swap Ethereum when you can trade it or coins in its ecosystem with cheap trading fees. I won't recommend swapping of any coins as the fees are generally based on the blockchain used. If privacy is a concern then use MEXC global as it allows trading without going through KYC, the max trade allowed is 2BTC

Ethereum has a higher gas fee currently and if you still insist on swapping you coins then wait for the gas fee to go down. Then try those wallets recommend by members on your thread.
556  Local / Mining (India) / Re: How well people here in india knows about Mining on: January 14, 2024, 12:38:29 PM
^ Very detailed explanation and still you want me to think you are not into mining. I will go through everything and ever details as you have shown me the path before thinking about starting my own mining business. There are certain things that would need me to physically go and check, it will take time and as soon as it is done and if I feel positive to go ahead then I will reply to my reply.

Trust me I am not into mining, I did had some plans last year. I then went ahead and checked and searched everywhere until I found one my friend into mining. I got all the information that I can get from him to start my mining journey. What went negative for me was my plan to set up the miners on my terrace as the heat generated by miners can affect my terrace and also the sound of mining equipment is not that pleasent. If you live in ground floor and have a seperate room then do think about it.
557  Economy / Gambling / Re: JustCasino.io | Get the Best Crypto Casino Experience on: January 14, 2024, 11:31:26 AM
Welcome to Bitcointalk Just casino!

I visited your casino and found it to be somewhat unique then others. I did go through the FAQ section and found relevant information, what like is that you have placed the FAQ section in the middle of the home page and not in the footer. I need to go through the terms and conditions page before I have other questions. I will do that and if something is bothering me the I will come back to your ANN thread.
558  Local / India / Re: Shadow Ban on Crypto Exchanges on: January 14, 2024, 10:40:13 AM
No one reports it in our city we still can access some of the big names in the porn industry. I was wondering if Binance plans to change it URL from Binance.com to Binance.desi  Huh Grin

This was good one  Cheesy

Hoping one of the Binance or other exchange executives takes my suggestion seriously and implements a special extension with Binance for the Indian community to access their platform without any interruption.

However I tried using the URL to access through an Airtel broadband and Jio broadband, both of which showed timeout - they are blocked by ISP it seems.

Situation is getting grim for those using these international exchanges and we are yet to hear from the government regarding any official ban news. For now, I guess using them needs off-play store sources - which increases the risks too.

It was already F**KED UP and it is going to be ROYALLY F**KED UP, all thanks to the Indian government and their negative approach towards cryptocurrency. The policy is simple when you do not understand the technology do not bother to work around it. Work around a way to ban it with zero approach;D that was always the Indian way of finding a solution.
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as P2P currency vs Bitcoin as an asset on: January 13, 2024, 01:38:01 PM
To be fair Bitcoin initially was a P2P currency, while now it has become an asset. Everyone here in the forum is always promoting the HODL concept that started from this forum. Maximalists are known to be the biggest accumulators and holders, so why ask this question as we have a lot of maxis here? There was a time when Bitcoin was considered as a P2P currency and that happened before LN was launched. Why was BTCLN even decided? The reason is that the main chain cannot help with adopting Bitcoin.

The forum was once flooded with topics comparing Bitcoin with Gold and even the mainstream media started doing it. Why? Because, after 2017 ATH Bitcoin was never considered a P2P currency even countries such as Argentina treat it as an asset class. The country of El Salvador has already implemented BTCLN with its localized wallet to increase the usability of Bitcoin as a legal tender.
560  Local / Mining (India) / Re: How well people here in india knows about Mining on: January 13, 2024, 01:23:25 PM

By your reply, it looks like you are into mining. Assuming I go ahead and install those solar panels on the premises where I would be installing my mining device. I would like to ask a few questions from you, how much would the initial cost be? Which coin would be profitable to mine? What miner would you need to buy? What will be the cost-to-profit ratio?

Visit this website https://solarrooftop.gov.in/rooftop_calculator select your state check the subsidy amount and then apply. You can pay with EMI you do not need to pay anything upfront if I remember. Check which miner you want to use depending on the coin you will mine, the recommended is ASIC miner 7, go to IndiaMART to check the price otherwise visit Delhi to buy one, Palika Bazar if I am correct is where you would find mining equipment. You would still need a stabilizer and inverter when using a solar panel as it is connected to the normal supply grid. Find out which coins would you want to mine with your ASIC miner, the recommended one, for now, is Kaspa or you can check https://whattomine.com/asic for more information.

BTW, I am not into mining but I have friends who are into it and they make a decent profit. If you take the cost-to-profit ratio to determine the outcome then you will be able to recover your investment in six months if you are running your miner 24/7. Please remember you would need to know the mining hardware in case if you need to work on it if it breaks down. There are several walkthrough articles and videos on the internet that can guide you and solve the problem. I would still say it is better to connect with someone within the forum if you are facing any such problem with the miner.
