Huh, not sure how this happened to be honest.
This was a question that was supposed to be in the last round but was eventually scrapped, and I wrote a separate question for this round instead of it in preparation for this round.
I guess I failed to save the document and this one remained in the Forms instead.

slackovic even asked about that question today and it didn't ring a bell.

Please send me your new answers in DM. If you don't by tomorrow, I will DM you myself.
The question is fully changed so you can't keep your old answers.

Sorry once again, we will have to hire Slissy I guess.

I actually saw the question while answering too, but I felt it was just a mistake with the team playing home or away, and If the question had been set on Saturday or early enough on Sunday anyone could have missed it, while the other leg is coming up over the weekend, so I answered it in respect to the 2nd leg only.

Anyways new answers have been sent  Wink

No way anybody catches jeremypwr though, this is supremacy!

It's surreal to see him dominate in such a subliminal fashion, especially in La Liga where it's somewhat harder to make the right predictions in my opinion, I usually consider PL and even Serie A to be extremely easier to make predictions compared to La Liga.

Congratulations J!

Just like I thought, we cannot underestimate the MVP. Nikola Jokic won on the road again with 35 points, 7 assists, and 7 rebounds to tie the series at 2-2.
But the key player is Aaron Gordon, he had the hot hands with 11/12 field goals, talk about being efficient, he did it today. Jamal Murray also did some damage and I guess that's the recipe for the Nuggets to win. Their trio must work together on both ends of the floor to win it.

Antman was really fun to watch though, but the help was not there, especially from KAT. 5/18 field goals, that sucks and he got easily frustrated with the referees missing some fouls. He cannot do that.

And another story, will Gobert pay a fine again? He did the money sign again. We might hear that news later.

I'm not sure that was the money sign from Rudy Gobert, I watched the game but I haven't given the gesture a 3rd look, although, from what I saw and the replay during the game it was more of a "cheap foul call" from my POV, but then that was an obvious foul on Jamal Murray with Rudy Gobert shoving him from behind.

It was yet another championship calibre performance from the Denver Nuggets again, the Wolves really need a lot of figuring out to do going forward, Anthony Edwards scored over 40 points but still, it all amounts to nothing because his other supporting cast weren't playing at his own level, unlike Jokic who is having Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray showing up pretty well in both game 3 and 4, while KAT wasn't having a great night, and Rudy Gobert while getting bullied in the defensive end isn't providing anything much on the offensive end of the court.

I really wasn't expecting another cup round just yet, I think my team isn't really prepared for this round, I guess it's probably due to the nature of questions we've got here. However, getting pass this stage (both rounds) automatically guarantees a prize right ? Hopefully that will motivate the team well enough to just get through this no mater what it takes  Cheesy

That was much a needed 3 points for my team too, after what went down last week.... It's a great way to bounce back even though it wasn't much of a great performance so to say, but all that matters at the end of the day is those 3 points, thanks to Man United for putting up a mini fight and not concede load of goals like the awful team they have been all season long Grin

Doesn’t seem like it’s going very well OP. You’ve made 5 bets and lost 4 of them, maybe it’s a good idea you stopped. You're obviously a really smart guy with your medical school plans, a lot smarter than me any way.

I wish you the very best of luck with your studies. If you return to gambling do it with smaller amounts for fun.

I guess OP has stopped already, according to the first post.

I think his choice of bets also showed that he was just making an experiment and his major plan wasn't based off on whether or not he's successful with this attempt or route, because his bets were somewhat improbable and illogical statistically, at least that's from my perspective. So it's safe to say OP was just betting for fun, but had he won would have been a huge added advantage for him, and wasn't a make or mar for his medical school dream decision for him.

Went 1-2 last night need to pocket some money here.  Tonight I am taking three bets so far.

Celtics first quarter money line.  Think they come out hot from that whooping they took in game 2.

Celtics -7.5, I still think Celtics are just too good for the cavs

And taking the over at 210.5. Cabs aren't all that strong defensively and I think the Celtics come out shooting.  Gimme a 119-109 game here.

A really low scoring second half cost you the opportunity to go 2/2 and as you've said the Cavaliers just couldn't keep up with the Celtics, and they got blown away in the beginning of the 3rd quarter, while the Celtics kept counter punching every efforts being made by the Cavs to put together a run for themselves to get back into the game.

---------------

With Al-Horford as primary player in the No. 5 role, I expected Jason Tatum to do a lot of work with the boards, and took him on Over 9.5 Rebs @ 1.86, turned out a good decision for me.

Yeah, I just won that hockey question, thanks to Germany's win over Slovakia, and yourself not having many different answers from me on that question because I won the question with 1/3 correct answers so far, weird stuff, right ?
After today we both missed the chance for point in Dortmund match, I expected they would hold a draw but they are thinking only about Champions League final.
Arsenal vs Man United will decide if you are going to win or we play a draw and my ass is saved from defeat once again  Grin
I think Arsenal is a huge favorite, just look at the list of missing players for Man United  Shocked

Yeah, and I most definitely hate to have my fate in the hands of Man United yet again this season, they've been the team that have burned me the most all season long, but the fact that I could no longer lose the game gives me quite a ray of hope, other than just being completely depending on them for me to get a draw or lose the game.

Man United have won more difficult game imo, or at least get a draw when you expect them to lose woefully, I just hope this could be one of those days.

A good bounce back for the Nuggets to pick up that momentum after being totally locked down in game 1 and 2. And the Wolves had a very very bad game that they even gave up early in the 3rd quarter. They looked complacent sitting at 2 nothing, even Edwards was too comfortable answering the post game conference as if the Nuggets ain't capable of bouncing back and win the next 3.
This is the huge difference between an experienced against a young team who hasn't been into the finals.

Denver Nuggets were also able to get back in the series with Minnesota Timberwolves, that was huge a statement from the defending champions and to show that can also get a win on any given day. I don't know if I say that the Wolves didn't actually get complacent, I mean they were 6-0 in the playoffs so far, sweeping the Suns, and getting 2 wins on the road, one without their best defensive asset only for them to then trail for the entire night and trying to play catch up, something must have been wrong from the get-go. However, regardless of how bad the Wolves looked for most of the entire night, the Denver Nuggets offense was extremely extraordinary and deserve pretty much an equal credit for a great game.

It will be a very hard task for Knicks to beat Pacers without OG and Brunson not only because of the home court advantage of Pacers but also they are already in close match when Knicks has strong line-up with the 2 players is active. I doubt that the current Knicks without Brunson can beat a solid Pacers.

I think Knicks will still face a difficulty beating Pacers in home court even with OG and Brunson in the court so I think they might use game 3 and 4 for regrouping then focus on the remaining games until their starters come back.
Let's wait until the actual game starts. Because I am not sure with all of these reports become a tactic for these teams to make their rival confident that if one of their stars aren't going to play, they will have an advantage. I am not really sure but it seems that it's sort of a mind game to me until the game starts and with that rumored player won't be playing actually entered to the first five.  Grin

OG is definitely out tonight but Jalen Brunson is definitely playing tonight.  He finished the game 2 nights ago with 24 points in the 2nd half he is fine.  NBA requires teams to list all questionable and probably due to injuries but this is the playoffs, if you can take the court you are playing.  No way the Knicks sell these 2 games in Indiana to bring it back tied up.  You put your foot on the pedal full bore in the playoffs.  JB will likely see 40-44 minutes tonight if it's close.
That's great to hear, if they're going to play without OG and then Brunson, that's going to be a cute giveaway for the Pacers. Since they're already in the possible third streak of win against the Pacers, they don't just want to give any kind of momentum that might built from the Pacers side.

Despite missing OG and Jalen Brunson playing at not close to 70% fitness, it was still far from a giveaway for the Indiana Pacer as they had to fight for every single point today, and were close to losing it as well after the Knicks took a 9 points lead around midway into the 4th Quarter, but Andrew Nembhard answered the call when the game was on the line and he had no choice but to take a very deep 3 which he hit, and Pacers were finally able to bank on that opportunity to bring themselves back into the series, but they've still got a shit load of work to do towards game 4.

I have a marginal lead already over the No. 1 Anti-Mafia team, and there 3 shots left to be fired.. fingers crossed.
Well played sir, you are doing great this round, leading against me all the time and I think you just won the last question.
Stuttgart and Guirassy saved the day for me, and my only small chance is if Dortmund plays a draw and Arsenal win with handicap covered.
Miracles happen sometimes, but I am ok if I lose this time.

Damn! With that Guirassy miss for me, I totally anticipated a very close game and narrow win for Stuttgart hence my reason for going with Guirassy not to score, but still was able to score the decisive goal for his team.

Yeah, I just won that hockey question, thanks to Germany's win over Slovakia, and yourself not having many different answers from me on that question because I won the question with 1/3 correct answers so far, weird stuff, right ?

Here comes the first plot twist to the Celtics vs Cavaliers Eastern Conference semi final series, Cavaliers have even the series, taking 118-94 win for game 2 in Boston. Just like me, I guess that's what a lot of us didn't see coming right ? I thought the Cavaliers best chance would be when the series head back to Ohio, but it maybe the dreadful Celtics aren't invisible after all... It's still a best of 7 series, and there is no result ascertained yet, but the Cavaliers first step towards a major upset have been taken tonight, and huge test of defending home court in game 3 and 4 is what awaits!

On the other side, Cavs got this good oppotunity bringing the series at home with a tie standing, they just need to duplicate the outcome and try harder to take both games at home to have a comfortable lead and hopefully win the series against Boston.

Yeah for sure, but it's going to be an easy said than done situation regardless of how prepared the Cavaliers are for their home court, because you sure would be expecting Joe Mazzulla and the Celtics to throw everything they've got at them, and anticipate every element of surprise.

----------

In the other series of the night as well Dallas and Luka Doncic got a win over OKC and the series is also tied at one apiece, interesting series we've got on our hands in both conference semi-finals.

Same thing happened with OKC, Dallas took control of the game early and kept their foot on the pedal. Both games tonight were pretty unexpected results for most bettors as both Boston and OKC have been pretty dominant this whole playoffs, but this does show everyone that no team is out of the playoffs if they show some heart.

It's game on! and It is literally anyone's series from here on, even if eventually both series heads all the way to a game 7, both favorite teams with the home court advantage would be well aware that being on home court is no longer an advantage at this stage of the playoffs.

cryptofrka What is happening this round? 😂😂😁Good job Team jeremypwr!😁

That's karma being served with a ice cold beer...  Grin

After the stunt mafia pulled in the last round, now that the whole league is watching and they can't pull any sort of shenanigans, so the team do what they always do; crumble.

I knew how this one is ending the moment Bayern missed that counter for 2:0. How the hell assistant ref flagged for offside in last moments of the game? Simply incredible, that is why you have the VAR, let it draw the lines after the play finishes.

Freaking crazy decision, it's as though they got paid to do that I mean, because they already let one or a couple go in the same match already especially Joselu's goal that was at first presumed to been offside but VAR to it's cause, I really don't understand the hastiness to raise the flag from the linesman with a clear-cut of view of the player, neither do I get why the referee was dumb enough to not let the ball go out of play or at least have a dead ball scenario before blowing his whistle that fast and in that specific area of the pitch... pfft!

The fine that was given to Jamal Murray is $100k for that heat pack thrown on the floor. IMHO, they should have suspended him for the remaining games.
A suspension may have been handed down if it was some role player who did that. Maybe part of the decision to just fine him is that nobody actually got hurt. If the NBA could not suspend the like of Draymond for kicking balls then they cannot suspend Murray for throwing things on the floor.
That makes sense.

For the other known players that have done crazy things too, they're just fined. They've probably got metrics on who's going to be suspended and who's going to be just fined.

Anyway, that really made Murray pissed when he's guarded and doubled by the Timberwolves. They know how weak he is mentally and sure Finch will do the same tactic on their next meeting.

I guess the player history has a whole lot to do with how the fines and/or suspension are ditched out, If it were to be Draymond Green who did that yesterday, I'm sure at least a game suspension would have been included, Jamal Murray isn't known to be such a person with violent character and isn't much of a repetitive offender in this case, hence the need for just a fine alone was probably the best way to show leniency, but I can guarantee that and future antic like this would attract a more stiff penalty, just like the case of Pat Beverley I made mention of earlier, I just read a report from Shams Charania who said according to his source, the Indianapolis Police are currently reviewing the case of Pat Bev, and regardless of the legal outcome, I'm quite sure there will be a hefty penalty for Bev from the league's office, Suspension most likely without pay and heavy fine too, at the very least.
