Now Liverpool are out of contention for the PL title I will take more interest in the CL semi finals. I’m really looking forward to the Real vs Bayern double header, two European heavyweights going at it.

The other semi final, I think PSG will win comfortably over two legs. I would love Dortmund to win the CL though.

Well that’s us out of the title race, a shame but we are not currently good enough. The EFL Cup and 3rd place is not bad but this team just fell short. Arsenal and Man City are better teams this season.

We need a big clear out in the summer, Salah is finished, Robertson is past his best and Nunez is crap. We miss so many great chances, a prolific striker would have won us the title.

I am a temporary Chelsea fan tonight as they face Arsenal. Should be a tough game for Arsenal, I think Man City found it difficult against Chelsea in the FA Cup Semi Final.

So for one night only, come on Chelsea.

GM Wall Observers, a small pump back to $66,000. The halving has passed now, hopefully GBTC selling is slowing right down now that they have created a new mini ETF with 0.15% fees.

I really hope we’ve seen the bottom now and the ranging in the low to mid $60,000’s gives us a solid base before we enter price discovery and hit ATH after ATH after ATH over the next 18 months or so. It’s a really exciting time to be in Bitcoin right now.

I just hope we get a proper, parabolic run this time unlike in 2021. My hope and expectation is we see $250,000 next year. Everything is in place now for a life changing run, let’s get it.

Man United through to the final then, very unconvincing but it doesn’t really matter how you get to a final, you just have to get there.

Man City weren’t great against Chelsea but admittedly they are a much tougher opponent than Coventry.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 21, 2024, 05:51:20 PM
Fulham 1-3 Liverpool (Full Time)

Not 100% convincing but a win is a win, back to winning ways in the PL. All we can do is win our games and hope for slip ups by Arsenal and Man City.

Some tough games coming up for all 3 title contenders, there will be more twists though, you can be sure of that.Man City are favourites but all Liverpool can do is try to keep the pressure on the other 2.

What an idiot for making bets on his own team.

He was making something like 1.5 million each season, why throw it away for a few thousand dollars? It’s either total greed or he has a gambling problem.

Devin Haney is going to seriously outclass Ryan "cokehead" Garcia, it’s going to be a massacre.

the biggest event in the UFC history books.

"Biggest event in the UFC history books" based on what, your opinion?
Other UFC events generated more revenue than 300, just so you are aware  Wink

UFC today announced that UFC 300: PEREIRA vs. HILL, held on Saturday, April 13, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, was one of the most successful and highest-grossing events in UFC history.

Man City does seem to have a bigger chance than Liverpool and Arsenal but I think as long as this season is not over, Arsenal and Liverpool still have a chance to win the Premier League trophy. We will never know what other surprises will emerge in the remaining matches.

This week Arsenal and Liverpool have the opportunity to fight for first place because at the same time, Man City has to play against Chelsea in the FA Cup semifinals. At least if Liverpool and Arsenal can get a win, it could put a little pressure on Man City. Maybe it won't be an easy match, because both Arsenal and Liverpool have to play as guests. However, if they waste this opportunity once again, I think Man City will be the Premier League champions.

I’m rapidly losing hope that Liverpool will be Champions. Poor form is coming at the worst time. We drew with Man Utd and lost to Crystal Palace, both very bad results.

As usual Man City are coming into good form at the right time, it looks ominous for Arsenal and Liverpool.

Guys tell me what do you think about this odds for Champions League winner?
Real Madrid is the biggest favorite with to win once more time but odds on underdog Borussia Dortmund are amazing.
I would not write off Bayern so easy but first match is played on Allianz Arena and they need good result here.

Real have the history and mythical presence in the CL, nobody else comes close to their heritage and expertise at winning the CL as I unfortunately know. I don’t think they are that good this year though, they were lucky to get past Man City but then again, it’s what they do.

I have a feeling it could be PSG’s year, maybe Mbappe leaves with the gift of a first CL trophy to PSG fans. I will be supporting Dortmund though, the least likely but they are a great, genuine club. Go BVB!
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 19, 2024, 08:17:37 AM
Very surprising to see the four semi finalists, I’m shocked Man City didn’t make it, they dominated Real in the 2nd leg but if you don’t take your chance you will regret it. Real Madrid are a special force in the CL, so often they are not the best team but manage to find a way to win.

I don’t think anybody predicted to see two German teams in the semi finals but here we are. I predict the final will be Real vs PSG.

14 hours until the halving, just about touching 65k, nice.

LFC will be on holiday Tuesday, maybe a Merit Dump where is LFC location photo competition.

The bull run officially starts, based on history, in less than 24 hours. May start slowly but this is where we start the fun.

Let’s Goooooooooo !

I have a lot of real life Aston Villa fans so very happy to see them go to the semi finals. They are having a great season, they have a real chance to win a first trophy since 1996.

Emery is doing a great job there, if they can finish 4th and get into the CL too he has to be up there for manager of the season in England.

Observing $62,000 on this fine, Spring morning.

Is that all you’ve got bears?

118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 17, 2024, 07:36:58 PM
Rodrigo made a quick goal for Real Madrid, first attempt was save and he was lucky he didn't leave immediately ND then the second attempt went through for Real Madrid and immediately, Manchester City became super attacking in all the angles but Real Madrid is still defending tightly but I will not lie to you, the pressure Real Madrid is having at Etihad is high, their ball passes is superb and they don't play up ball, this is exact opposite of what Real Madrid is playing.

Man City will not go down without a fight here, I still think they will advance to the semi final. Real have a lot of defending to do if they are to get through.

The other game tonight is very tense, not many chances, nervy game.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 16, 2024, 09:03:05 PM
La Liga teams not doing too well, both Atletico and Barcelona now out. Only Real remain and they face a huge task to make the semi final away at Man City tomorrow.

Congrats to Dortmund and PSG, great games tonight, we’ll do it all over again tomorrow night.

The WW3 rumours, Fed keeping rates higher for longer, GBTC still selling off, anything else they want to stick in the mixing pot to try and mess everything up?

It’s annoying and a little unsettling, thinking that potentially any more FUD could send us under 60k. I’m not sure we can take much more bad news and hold 60k.

However the halving is in 3 days, I thought we’d be at maybe 45k at the halving if you asked me last year. Things will become very bullish, very quickly. We just need to be patient, there’s a lot of negativity right now with current world events and it’s spilling into markets, Bitcoin is not immune to panic selling.

Stay strong, ignore the noise and HODL.

$200,000 - $250,000 in play for mid to late 2025.
