Betwrong is one of the luckiest guys I see on this forum, not always the biggest wins but your profit vs loss ratio must be pretty handsome.

One day you’re going to hit something big, I can sense it.

As always guys, we really appreciate screenshots and real life gameplay experience, keep them coming.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: April 11, 2024, 05:35:08 PM
Hoping Liverpool get a comfortable win tonight so we can concentrate on the Premier League. I’m not overly happy about being in the Europa League so it has to take a back seat to our Premier League title fight.

For a team that has won the Champions League 6 times and been in 3 of the last 6 finals, it’s tough to get excited about the Europa League.

So hopefully a comfortable win tonight so we can rest players in the 2nd leg.

Atletico vs Dortmund and PSG vs Barcelona tonight, should be another two exciting games. They might struggle to match the drama of last night though.

I think it’ll be a tight, nervy game at Atletico but the home team to take a 1st leg lead. The game in Paris is really tough to predict, both teams have elite players so anything can happen on the night. It wouldn’t surprise me if that game is a draw.

US #Bitcoin ETFs took the price from $45K to 70K. That's an 80% increase within just 3 months.

Expect a similar outcome from 🇨🇳 Asia approving #Bitcoin ETFs next week, along with halving.

Are you mentally prepared for $100K?

Two tough, energy sapping games for Arsenal and Man City. Hopefully the intensity starts to mean they drop poijts in the PL, would really help Liverpool out 😇.

Maybe Arsenal aren’t so impregnable after all, Bayern made their defence look a lot more ordinary than most PL teams have done for a while.

Some cracking goals in the other game in Spain, wow.

Really will be a good day when GBTC lower their fee or even if we have to wait a few months until they are actual NOCOINERS. Those bastards are up to something, must have some deal with the SEC to wind down so Blackrock and Fidelity can actually fulfil their buy orders via Coinbase.

Any way it doesn’t matter too much, halving is imminent and you can’t hold a ball under water for too long. When you let go it’s going to catapult relentlessly towards the sky. The thing is, where we’re going, you need moonsuits.

$250,000 is in play.

HODL.

Liverpool will meet the agent of Ruben Amorim next week, and try to reach an agreement on personal terms.
The Portuguese coach wants to takeover Jürgen Klopp.
Source: https://x.com/DeadlineDayLive/status/1777027550847373559

I personally think that it would have been better for Liverpool to actually go for some other coach. To be honest I thought they were going to go for Xabi Alonso. But just because they are meeting someone doesn’t mean the deal is done. I just hope that Liverpool will make sure that the next coach will be able to bring as much success as they had with Jurgen Klopp if not more. And I doubt very much that he will actually be able to bring that success for Liverpool. Alonso is probably a perfect replacement. But of course, it is not as easy as it sounds. Alonso is probably dreaming of managing Real Madrid and that's why he might stay another season in Leverkusen.

The problem is that pretty much anybody who takes over is going to be a downgrade on Klopp. The pool of top class, available managers is very small.

Amorim broke the monopoly of Benfica and Porto winning the league every season for 18 years in a row from 02/03 to 19/20 when he won it with Sporting in 20/21. They are currently top again with 9 games left. Sporting are 4 points clear with 1 game in hand. He wins trophies and for me that qualifies him as a good candidate. I will back him if he gets the job.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Fever. What are your range of thoughts in response to Lucky Winners? on: April 09, 2024, 02:07:36 PM
About 15 years ago my then gf (now wife) bought a Euromillions ticket. The jackpot was €85,000,000 if I recall correctly. To win the Euromillions jackpot you need to get all 5 numbers correct and the 2 stars. Any way to cut a long story short we got 4 numbers and 2 stars.

I was looking at the numbers on our ticket, frantically checking the numbers online, thinking we’d won something big. Turns out it’s a lot more important to get 5 numbers regardless of how many stars you get. We got 4 out of the 5 numbers and 2 stars. We won approx €4,000 which is nice obviously but not life changing. If we had got 5 numbers & 0 stars or 5 numbers and 1 star it was six figures.

Funnily enough my gf picked the number 24 (which was the 1 incorrect number) and the number we needed to win €85,000,000 was 23. I don’t think I’ll ever forget this experience sadly.

The addition of getting potential bonus points was a good idea buwaytress. I’m not well placed in Pot B but I’d like to keep my 5th position, if not improve it in the SuperBru pool.

The competition is so fierce with you bitcointalk.org guys. I regularly perform quite poorly in pools vs you guys.

In other news[1] Everton have been docked an additional two points, taking the total tally to 8 for the season. They are set to appeal the latest reduction

This is some kind of clownery, and the timing is such that it might be better if the initial decision on the 10-point penalty remained unchanged. In conditions where your position in the standings is constantly changing (regardless of you), it is probably difficult to maintain psychological stability.
But the main point of the clownery is that, as I understand it, those facts of violations by the City and Chelsea will never be considered.

Man City have 115 violations, yes ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN. There is a court date set for their trial next year but it’s not public yet. I think the reason it is taking so long with them is because how extensive their trial is. It is obviously a lot of hard work for the PL to gather all evidence and make it bulletproof.

Also Everton cooperated wth the investigation and their breaches. Man City have been delaying and not cooperating. I assume their penalties are going to be a lot more severe.

55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 07, 2024, 05:17:09 PM
Arsenal who will welcome Bayern Munich at home in quite prime condition after they managed to be unbeaten in 7 matches in all competitions, while Bayern Munich actually came with quite bad capital after they lost the opportunity to continue to press Leverkusen in the domestic league, yes Bayern Munich came with 5 wins and 2 consecutive defeats in the league,  The contrast between Arsenal and Bayern Munich is of course obvious, and it is fitting that many of us here see if Arsenal will be able to beat Bayern Munich later in the first leg, but isn't the opposite also possible, it is not impossible if Bayern Munich actually makes Arsenal as an outlet for their revenge for defeat in the league later?

I think even though the two teams are in opposite performances, but I will not try to underestimate Bayern Munich in that game, like a lion injured they will be more dangerous at the moment, I think Arteta should not underestimate Bayern Munich even though Arsenal have upper hand now because after all Bayern Munich can give surprises that Arsenal cannot imagine later even though they play at Emirates Stadium.

Arteta has Arsenal playing like a team that looks like it’s ready to win trophies. I don’t know if they’ll win the CL but I think they’ll be far too strong for Bayern.

I would not be surprised if this 1/4 final is basically over after the 1st leg. I see Arsenal winning this comfortably, Bayern have been crap all season.

Gambling is an industry you can participate in to have fun, it should be seen as fun, a hobby. You should not see gambling as a guarantee to make money. Obviously you will win sometimes but you will also go through periods where you lose. You don’t see many broke bookies do you.

Practise responsible gambling and you will be OK. All reputable bookies/sportsbooks/casinos will have responsible gambling ads plastered all over the place, this is to help you.

Game week 31 and it’s the most exciting title race for a long time with 3 teams separated by 3 points.

Crystal Palace vs Man City
Brighton vs Arsenal
Man Utd vs Liverpool

Please Liverpool just win.

I need a good weekend of results for myself, currently 2-1 down to FM in 3B and we have a lot of identical answers to the remaining questions.

I could really do with not losing this round.
