101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Fever. What are your range of thoughts in response to Lucky Winners? on: May 13, 2024, 09:22:35 AM
~

There’s a lot of lottery winners in my country that suffer same outcome. They all purchase luxury cars, huge houses and other things which is too expensive for their normal lifestyle.

They ended up spending most of their money on this asset that later on turn into liabilities because they can’t pay repairs, taxes and other sort of maintenance since they don’t have job to sustain this kind of lifestyle. In the end, They all sold the properties and use the money to pay loans until they become broke again after the excessive lifestyle change.

It’s very hard to maintain the rich lifestyle if you just rely on the winning money without any source of income to add on your winning money.

And all of that happens because of their lack of education. How can you buy a house, a car and some other things that you will not be able to sustain in the near future? That's why I say, spend the money you won on your education. Then you will be able to calculate how much you will need to spend each year on keeping those luxury things, and that you maybe don't need most of them to live a happy life, in the first place.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling: Modern entertainment or highly addictive game? on: May 13, 2024, 08:47:25 AM

I do believe that only a few would really be having that kind of real fun seeking activity or something that they could really be able to enjoy on playing gambling but sooner or later on the time that you would be experiencing those loses then that fun and interest would really be that become being desperate and becoming that revengeful on which this is something that most happen for gamblers and this is why they do end up on getting stressed and having that kind of disappointment due to those loses. ~

No, no, that's not what happens to most gamblers. Most gamblers lose money to gambling eventually, that's true, but they are not becoming desperate or revengeful because of that, they just move on, thinking that will try their luck again next day, next week or next year when it's a trip to Vegas. It's just an interesting experience for them, not a tragedy, when they lose their money. It's because they allocated for their gambling only what they could afford to lose.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stopping the curse of losing streak? on: May 13, 2024, 08:18:39 AM
~ With five such losses in a row you can gamble away a budget of a small country. Smiley
~ At 24 in a row the odds of this happening are like 12 million x, haha.

In other worse, everything is possible anytime, anywhere.

That's right and that's why we should always keep it in mind and never risk an amount that we can't afford to lose because the chances of your losing "are zero". They never zero. Never. The same way you can hit the jackpot in Mega Millions or Powerball when you have one in 300 million chance of winning, you can hit an unbelievably long losing streak, and should be ready for that.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: May 13, 2024, 07:49:44 AM
~

But it works in the same way according to many. That "possible" and "might" turns into obligatory. There are parents whos idea is to teach kids investing as early as possible, so they wont miss opportunity to buy "potential next big thing" (like bitcoin) for 1 dollar, and sell it later for 65k (like same bitcoin). On the other hand people say that newbies should learn to trade/invest/dyor. How come kids do that? No how. So they are pushing kids on something impossible. The monopoly is just an instrument of teaching. Like playing blackjack to kill time, while it parallel teach them to count till 21. In the end we get monopoly suited for kids and gambling strongly not.

Again, it's because monopoly is not gambling. Whether trading is actually worse than gambling is another question entirely and we are not discussing it here. This thread is called "Never gamble in front of your kids." and we are discussing negative impact on your kids when you gamble in front of them. Not because gambling itself is bad, but because kids may not be mature enough to understand the game properly.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust bitcoin holders? on: May 10, 2024, 01:13:18 PM
Since bitcoin promotes mostly anti-government, banks, etc.

I am wondering; Do you trust bitcoin holders?

I wouldn't say most of them are anti-government, banks and stuff. They are rational people, wise and rational, Bitcoin holders, I mean. And someone who is rational will not be against all governments and their institutions.
106  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you found a new way to make money playing games, would you tell your friends? on: May 10, 2024, 12:29:21 PM
Why?

If you mean the game that is called Life, and you found a new way to make money playing it, definitely tell your friends and make big money together. Only if it's not something illegal. Making money playing illegal games will turn your lives into disaster.
107  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you suggest... on: May 10, 2024, 11:39:05 AM
The  recently days hasn't been a cool one for me adding to how usually choked my daily schedules are, am having a real time challenge contemplating forth and back on what choice to make. Am an industrious woman with different income streams, among others is that am also an employee in a private company. I have this car I gave out for a transportation business as a taxi to a driver whom I contracted with to remit an agreed cash amount each weekend. This has been going on smoothly as I can recall, it's been fetching me profits with the car in good shape for the past years.

Painfully for months now the car has been developing series of faults and it hasn't been rosy anymore with profit no more getting in as it were. Having spent much money fixing different faults with lesser gains due to resurgent repair faults developing again and again. I have been reflecting seriously on selling off the car use the money to add to my bitcoin investment portfolio as the repeated repairs has left me with no choice despite how the transport business has been profitable before now. I feel as though am impatient with the whole bearings. I need your suggestions, is it necessary I sell  the car to add the money to my portfolio  when currently I do have a fine amount of portfolio with my bitcoin investment. As a business woman am worried cutting one of my scattered source of getting money by selling off the car.
please help with your thoughts.

Definitely sell the car if that car brings you so many difficulties, but regarding investing in Bitcoin right now I'm not sure. It's risky as always, and no one can tell you whether you will make money from that in the nearest future. I do believe that Bitcoin will be worth much than today in 10 years, but that's a long time and, of course, I'm not 100% sure.

EDIT: I mean, don't invest the money from the sold car in anything else either. There's a big chance of those investments being worse than Bitcoin. Just spend the money on yourself, on good food and nice clothes ... Live a little.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people lose in gambling and still go ahead and bet more? on: May 10, 2024, 11:04:14 AM
I've a friend of mine who always complain that ever since he started gambling he haven't won a good amount, instead he'll be winning less money than what he expected but he can't stop. So I'm asking what do you suggest he should do at this case. For me I told him that he should know that gambling it's a game of risk and luck,

What you said to your friend was right, because it looks like he thinks he definitely should win a big amount, it's just a matter of time.

but with the constant betting you might win the amount you've at mind someday. So what are your suggestions towards this.

It's not impossible, but only if that amount is realistic. Like , take me for example. I'm happy with winning $200 with my 20 cents stake. That's my goal so to speak. And I've succeeded in that several times. But if my goal was to win a million, maybe I wouldn't achieve it in my whole life. See? Tell your friend to set realistic goals.
109  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are your expectations for Casino coins in this coming bull run? on: May 10, 2024, 10:28:40 AM

RLB coin is now 50% down from its ATH in November 2023, but overall I think the coin is doing great. Indeed it has survived a lot of crashes since it was introduced in 2022. These's an article called "Rollbit coin price prediction 2024-2033", and they predict $5.48 in 2033:

Source: https://www.cryptopolitan.com/rollbit-price-prediction/

I have no idea if it's reliable, but I personally think that the chances of that happening are high.

Take those articles with a pinch of salt. I've come across those sites that throw some unrealistic numbers just for fake hype, like those analyst that predicted 1 BTC = hundreds of thousands of dollars within a short amount of time.

Yes, of course I'm not going to believe that Rollbit price will surely be $5.48 in 2033. Smiley No one can predict the movements of crypto assets with that certainty. But Rollbit is reliable and prosperous online casino, so, RLB has all the chances of going up in the future.

Also, I do believe that 1 BTC will be worth of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Maybe not within a short amount of time, but it will be eventually.
110  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to stop overthinking? on: May 10, 2024, 10:03:01 AM
Overthinking has been a big problem in most of the peoples life. Gives you a negative attitude, affects your relations with friends, family etc. How can you possibly stop yourself from overthinking when probably you have no control of what to think?

Keep yourself busy with different activities. It won't help if those activities will boring for you. You will just be thinking and overthinking while doing those jobs, so find something really engaging for yourself and start doing it.
Obviously, by doing something interesting to yourself, overthinking can be removed. Also when excessive thoughts fill the mind, you can walk on a street and see how many poor and helpless people are living on the street. You can remove your excessive worries by observing how they are living there. Then think about those helpless poor people on the street then your mind will be diverted from overthinking and from there many good deeds will happen.

Actually, you can be happy even being poor and living on the street. It's hard, but it's a supreme skill. You should always strive for a better life, but at the same time be content with what you have.

Yes some gamblers get lucky when they go all in, but statistically speaking i have heard of people losing due to gambling aggressively that people winning during aggressive gambling. That is why one need to be more careful when they are gambling so that emotions wont get attached during the process if not they may choose to go all in.

There's nothing bad in good positive emotions, like those that we experience when we are winning, but usually aggressiveness is not one of them good emotions we should seek for. Indeed, by chance one can win big during his/her aggressive betting, but in most cases it brings bad results, because even if you win in that state you immediately want to win even more and then even more and you won't stop until you lose everything.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you achieved anything from gambling on: May 10, 2024, 08:56:02 AM

Any spending whatsoever depends on someone's mindset and what suits them better and especially on priorities, if anyone takes drinking and nightclubs as a priority then go ahead and spend your gambling money on it!

This is just my opinion and that's how I think so.

If that makes someone happy, why not? But, as with everything else including gambling itself, excessive use of something what you really like and what brings you happiness in small doses, can ruin your holiday and in the end damage your whole life, so, be careful with that. You wrote about a fellow gambler who got a new TV with the money he won from staking, and I immediately thought: "Oh, man, can a TV set ruin your life!"
113  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: May 10, 2024, 08:07:40 AM
🎉 Big news! 🏆 User ID 37419370 is our Win A Lambo Round 10 WINNER, driving away with a Lamborghini Huracan! 🏆

With an impressive 34,688 tickets held, User 37419370 faces a thrilling decision: Lamborghini or 3.14 BTC.

That's a great news indeed! Finally, we got our winner! And finally we can see it on the site too:

The user 37419370 had 34,688 tickets.

0.00025 BTC × 34,688 = 8.672 BTC

The guy had tickets worth of more than 8 BTC, so his victory was well-deserved.

And yet the chance of him winning the Lambo wasn't that big:

34,688 ÷ 1,676,057 = 0.02

It was just a 2% chance. You are a lucky guy, congrats!
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: May 10, 2024, 07:32:41 AM
~ Celebrate each such day like a victory, because indeed it's a victory over your weakness. Be strong.
This is positive thinking and the percentage for success from gambling addiction or gambling debt will definitely be quite large

I am sure there are many people who are actually trapped, they fail to get out of their gambling addiction tendencies and are even unable to get out of their gambling debt tendencies, this is something what is worrying, they seem to lack guidance and motivation to get out of it all, support from the closest family is very important for those who are in the addiction phase

Right, in my opinion they lack guidance in the first place. It shouldn't necessarily be a grand guru or high-paid shrink, it can be anyone, your auntie, your girlfriend, your lecturer at uni, or just someone you accidentally met on an internet forum, it doesn't really matter who are them, what matters is their ability to tell you something that will make you motivated to stay away from gambling addiction and from any harmful addiction, because you don't want to be a slave of your addiction.

116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: May 09, 2024, 02:01:51 PM
~
~
For example, if you can gamble with an allocation of $5 every day or even less, it will certainly be very enjoyable compared to betting $50 in one game and immediately losing that day.

That's right, it will surely be more enjoyable. One spin is one spin, right? If you lose your $50 that you can afford to lose in a week or two within just one spin, you will hardly enjoy it. I say, make 500 bets, 10 cents each, out of that amount, then it will be something that can be called entertainment. There's no guarantee that you win more money this way. In fact, you can lose all your $50 too, but you will be losing it slowly, hoping for a big win every time you push the spin button. This way it's more entertaining, innit?
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it proper for younger ones to gamble? on: May 09, 2024, 01:16:01 PM
Because nowadays the younger ones take gambling more seriously then school. ~

I don't want to even read further. It's simply unacceptable. Their parents or their teachers, or both, should find a way to explain to the kids clearly that firstly they have slim chances of winning life-changing amounts and secondly even they win they will not be able to enjoy it without being educated people. The right way of going would be this: get the best education you can, find a proper job with good salary, and then entertain yourself with gambling however you like. But not the other way round.
118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Patience can help alot on: May 09, 2024, 12:20:22 PM
~
Not many people can have that patience.

I don't know exactly how many people have that patience, but I think, actually, most of them gamblers have it. I'm confident that most of the gamblers don't lose critical amounts of money while gambling because it would be forbidden everywhere otherwise.

They are just impatient when gambling and are in a hurry because they want to win like they see in other people.

All of us want to win big like those lucky ones we see on YouTube and on screenshots on twitter, but we shouldn't think it must necessarily happen. It's one chance in a million. We can try our luck from time to time, there's nothing wrong with that, but to be too persistent is wrong. It can lead to really big losses.
119  Other / Off-topic / Re: There are dangers from streaming matches from unofficial sites on: May 09, 2024, 10:58:45 AM
Wow. I didn't know about that. Do you think all of them free VPN services are like that?
Among the free VPN that I know of, the only one that I have tried that does not display ads and which I think do not share customers information is Proton VPN. It is a paid VPN but which has free version that can be used but with limited locations. They generate money from those that subscribed to the VPN services and not displaying ads for those that make use of the VPN freely.

Paid VPNs generate money from users subscriptions and not ads and selling of customers information.

Tor is the best for privacy but can not be used to access some sites. It is free and I use it to access any site I can use to access but use VPN for the sites I can not use Tor to access.

I'm fine with ads, but selling of customers information that's too much. By the way, I think it's illegal, no?

I'm using Windscribe. They have both paid and free version, and for me free version is enough. I hope they are not selling my information to anyone. At least when I google about it I see "Windscribe is a decent VPN" and no complaints about them selling anything.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now that Bitcoin halving have been completed, what next? on: May 09, 2024, 10:36:32 AM
The only real answer - no one know what will be next. TA is not working in crypto. However, everyone is hoping that we will see the bright future in the end of the year

I have the same impression of applying TA to crypto currencies. It's "working" but only randomly,  like the proverbial broken watch that is right twice a day. But we can hope for two things yet: that we'll somehow invent a TA that will be working with crypto and that, you are right, our future is bright. Maybe even before the end of the year we'll see some nice tendencies.
