101  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SALE] BTCC Mint Lunar New Year Sale — Lowest Prices -- Up to 85% off Markup on: January 12, 2017, 06:32:30 PM
Can you ship these to the US?

They do not.

I confirm they will NOT ship to the USA.

People use me if they want to make an order, I then forward to you in the USA from the UK. People will vouch I am legit.

I charge a small fee for my services, but if you want something from BTCC and you are in the US, PM me and I can get you whatever you want.

Awesome, thank you for providing the service, I see this is BTCC shop sale, so I would assume they are not shipping to the US.

Not a problem Smiley

Nope, the auctions they occasionally do are the only time they will ship to the USA.

Thanks Zepher. Do you charge a flat fee or is it % based on purchase?

Any ideas why the price of ETH crash?
Strong BTC?
The focus transits to ZEC?

I think you have already given out the answer. In order of of ZCash and strong bitcoin. The ZCash could be very high.

Ethereum will fall further because ZCash is strong!?

We will see Ethereum $10?

$9

Zcash will come down big in the next month, assuming there isn't a fatal bug or fork, Eth can go down to $5, doesn't really matter if you're long.

I have old version did i must find to peers?

Yes, you have to find peers now until a "lite" version is available.

ETH will probably limp along for years like litecoin. It will be usurped for #2 by monero at some point though. Probably will hang out at #3 for a long time before someone brings a successful scalability focused crypto currency to market. At which time said project might surpass monero too.

Haha, can't tell if you are joking, Eth has the most active 3rd party developer group I've seen in crypto (along with plans to scale). Litecoin literally has zero developer activity. If Monero succeeds in becoming the defacto anonymous crypto (on dark markets), it will be targeted and banned across the world, taking heat off BTC. I would say Eth will pass BTC at some point or just be hacked into oblivion and be worth nothing, but stagnant is the last thing it will become.

They abandoned their principles and forked the network. I don't know if that's something you can come back from. I hope it isn't. But I could be wrong.

Yeah, but mainstream doesn't really care about immutability to be honest, only we do, we're a small minority.

Bitcoin will die in 2021 when Jinn Labs releases optical processor capable to calculate SHA256D at insane speed.

Sounds good to me, I plan to sell in 2020.

It's pretty obvious to me that Barry's group tried to make a deal with Eth Foundation during crowdfund, probably asking for discounted Eth in exchange for marketing or whatever. Eth Foundation declined and Shilbert is eternally butthurt and his stance on ETC is just spite.

Na but thats ok. I didnt really get left behind. At most I might have thrown a bitcoin in the ICO. And that would have yielded a stake that I can easily afford to just purchase. And yea it costs more but there is a lot less risk when there is real working software so you win some you lose some. I thought it was like nxt but it wasn't. A LOT more bitcoin was donated total to the ico.

Sounds good. I think if you write the essay you will still get some decent amount donation for it. After you publish the essay, you can leave an IOTA address in the bottom of the essay or in your signature and people will donate to you. @Lovely89 has mentioned he would send you 50Gi. I will send you 50Gi as well.

I'll send 100GI as well.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: September 15, 2016, 09:39:07 PM
Why buy siacoin? Isnt siafund much more interesting?

Yes, could someone explain - in noob terms - what the difference is.

Sia is used to pay for storage. SiaFunds are like dividend stocks in Sia, whereas every time someone spends Sia for storage, a percentage of that transaction goes to SiaFund holders (3.9% to be exact) So if there are eventually millions of transactions on the network, Sia holders will collect a significant amount of Sia. Nebulus (the company that develops Sia) is the largest holder of SiaFunds and it's their main method to make money from the Sia ecosystem
I haven't heard how this sia ecosystem works before, thanks for clearing doubt about sia and siafunds. So basically comapany only earn for the real uses of coin rather than selling all their sia holding, which sound better than dev coming and dumping their coins in market for some money.

Yeah, unless they are mining they aren't earning any Sia at the moment, there wasn't a premine or anything.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: September 15, 2016, 09:12:12 PM
A lot of spamming going on.
1,000,000 transactions milestone reached, time to relax? Smiley

Which in the Iota world, is a very good thing.  Smiley

As the Big Deal is still secret we don't get more information.
But you can for sure image, what would happen, if for example sony announces, that it integrates iota in their playstation or something similar...
That would be a market cap beyond eth. Of course that is a unlikely scenario, but just an example, which direction we are heading with this donation...

In my opinion, we as a community should really be focused on brainstorming new use cases and developing more consumer (human-usable) applications with Iota. The corporate, machine to machine, market has a way to go and David is working hard to develop those b2b relationships. It's our responsibility to focus on how we can get people (users) to use Iota for things other than just sending/trading.There's so much potential uses for a scalable, fee-less platform. I also think it's important we hit exchanges, with even a moderate marketcap we will see a pretty large influx of new community members and developer interest.

..
It would bring together a lot of ideas I've been working on for years. Ill just say this. When people talk about their dishwasher being able to purchase excess power from the neighbors solar panel, that is good and well and all, but think it misses the much bigger picture.

I'd like very much to see Anon136 writing an essay on IOTA!

Anon, what are you thinking in terms of bounty?
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: September 09, 2016, 08:51:36 PM
Any whales who want to sponsor me to write an essay for IOTA similar to the one I wrote early on for NXT? Grin

Do you have a link to the Nxt essay, can't locate, I may be open to sponsoring.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: September 09, 2016, 04:22:14 PM
I cannot see any post about that in this thread...

What are you trying to accomplish with this post? Manual claims are going to be processed, David just stated why they were delayed, going on and on about it won't accelerate that process. If you had concerns you could have PM'd David and he would have responded with explanation. Moving on.....

Big deal is fully funded btw

I see 90% funded.  What's your source?  I hope your right! Cheesy

Jason (on slack) has promised 5Ti as soon as his manual claim is processed. We are at 45Ti and his 5Ti will get us to our goal.

Edit; when his claim is processed, 5Ti will be deducted so he doesn't need to send anything, so essentially we are already 100%.

I am selling siafunds. PM please.

Do Siafunds appear in the latest wallet? I have some but still have never been able to access them in the GUI.
