Also looking for an update.. I also think after seeing "delivery within 48hrs of 17 March" made me assume they would be delivered to him.. but it appears it was to a courier who would then fwd it to him..

104  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HASHRA CONTROLA on Raspberry Pi for Gridseed on: March 27, 2014, 03:04:42 AM
I am using this on 1 pi for every 20 gridseeds. very happy with controla.

What is your current up time with 20 on the Controla?  (latest firmware 1.2.5?)
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HASHRA - Overall experience and some thoughts on: March 27, 2014, 01:42:43 AM
Update:

Was able to test the Hashra Controla (updated to latest Firmware 1.2.5) tonight on 8 GS 5-chip miners...

Very quick to setup and easy to use..

The *only* thing missing in my opinion is some fail over pool options.

-=-=-=-=-=-

Also looks like they just jumped into the thick of the pricing competition - 20 miners for just $3000 ($150/miner).. shipping will run $150 though.  So that equates to $157.50/miner when it is all said and done.. which is still very good.

 Cool

Don't bother with all of the Scripta bullshit...

Hashra doesn't require any of the nonsense to setup and is way easier to use.

I was one of the earlier Hashra customers (20 pack with accessories) - review --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=524363.0

Tonight I was able to try the Hashra Controla flavor RasPI image.. very nice and easy to use.. (I also updated the firmware with ease just two clicks).  I think the only thing missing is some fail over pool options..

I also have been testing out the Zoomhash image on a couple test miners.. not really impressed, but it works. got to utilize heavy putty action tho -   I heart me some Web/GUI interface (Controla/Scripta types)..

My original 20 are running on two RasPIs with a scripta version from last week (10 each).. no issues... I tried to run all 20 (10 per hub both plugged into the pi) no joy.. about 4-6 miners would stop a random times and then the whole thing would freeze up.

I will be attempting the 20 count on the Hashra Controla when I have some more time.

Anyone try it yet?

(if Hashra would have given me the heads up I would have ordered their new 20 pack, but spent the extra 20 bucks and did it through ZH last night (w/coupon code).  I really want to test out the new Hashra shipping speeds...  (edit: looks like a $150 shipping charge is added... that doesn't beat my ZH deal after all)

I don't understand why people post WTS threads here just redirecting to ebay... stupid

109  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 1TH/s + MiningHardware.co.uk - WORLD WIDE SHIPPING on: March 26, 2014, 02:05:47 AM
Kenshin you broke the miner your self, how hard is it to get it through to you?

I have ordered 2!! First one is OK. The second one arrived DOA!! I didn't even get it to hash. It was broken on arrival.

The first one, I have been playing around with it. The second I never had a chance, he sent me a dead miner!!

He agreed to refund or exchange it when I called him. Then he broke his promise!! Don't trust this Son of a B****

Are these 200Gh models?

Don't buy from this lying con man, look at this screenshot!! http://i62.tinypic.com/2q18cb5.jpg

Ninelives lied about me breaking my miner. But it isn't broken, you can check the screenshot's top right corner. He wanted to manipulate all of you, so he can keep lying to all of you. I am not a troll. I am an unhappy customer!!

He promised to refund me, because of how noisy these miners are. Then he broke his promise and refuse to refund me, even though he agreed on the phone.

He always pretend he is the good guy, and I am the bad.

Just check the screenshot of http://i62.tinypic.com/2q18cb5.jpg

He will not refund any of you if anything is wrong with the products he sell.

Kenshin nobody else is asking for a refund, only YOU,you want to know why.....
BECAUSE you broke the warrenty by modifying the machine, why do you not accept your own mistakes and move on.

I will get my money back. I am just warning all of you!!

The rev 1.2 boards appear to draw more power. The mixed rev 1.1 / 1.2 unit only draws ~1050W at the wall, and the all rev 1.2 unit draws ~1170W at the wall.

Wow.... hungry units

About the Order Expiration Issue: If you have paid, you will have the miner shipped. ignore the "expire", "unconfirm" status

Blockchain.info's API is still not functioning normally. If you have paid the full amount to the payment address provided by us, you may still see the order expired, as the API now takes a few hours or a day to transfer the money to Bitmain's address, which before was assumed to happen instantly. If you have paid, please just relax, we have now some semi-automatized process to follow the payment. Please ignore the "expire", "unconfirm" status. If blockchain.info runs away with the money, the risk is all on us and you will have the shipped miner.

You rock my socks

I've turned it off and on a million times already. I've been working on these miners for 6+ hours. Can't get them to run.

Resolved in further posts (removing red flag!)

116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HASHRA - Overall experience and some thoughts on: March 25, 2014, 12:35:06 AM
No problem!

Ran out of time this weekend to fiddle with a whole lot (it was too nice outside).

I did however hit homedepot for some kitchen organizer racks that allow me to easily "double stack" on my now old GPU shelves... thus with the slight re-org I am reporting that I can successfully run 20 Gridseed 5C's off of one RasPI (with a last week version of Scripta, sure the version has changed since then)...

Hope to have some time this week to test out the Hashra flavor.

Will report back my findings..

Also, spoke to my manufacturer today and upped my order due to volume of incoming sales, and fortunately the shipping date is still Wednesday!  Still looking like these will get in on Monday, 03/31.  Paying for your cables reserves your spot in the shipping queue.

Straight to the Gridseed Cables:

http://www.bobsbitcoinsupply.com/Gridseed-Accessories_c4.htm

Free US shipping, even with 1 cable!

n41 (10 pack power) thx!
119  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group buy #3] OPEN GRIDSEED miner BTC/PP/WU worldwide on: March 24, 2014, 08:52:16 PM
Hoping he has already received them and is busy packing them all up.   Grin

yeah same here - doing 2 orders one with BTC and the other through his site I feel pretty secure still... wouldn't accept CC or PP if something fishy was planned..

Wouldn't mind a quick update though "Got em, boxing em, more later" kind of thing

Nothing yet at latest I should see the gridseeds at my location by this thursday and packed an shipped within 24 hours or less of receiving. There is 10 extra units left from this group buy that are $219.99 each.

Hopefully you get them mid-week and we can get them by this weekend Wink

All the mini usb cables came in I am replacing the wiibox with a free raspberry pi after finding out about stability issues and limitations if minepeon comes out with a scrypt based miner I will be pre loading that for each user. If anyone knows of any good pre built raspbian or arch linux for scrypt that you will be using let me know so I can get some ideas what would be best for the group buy.

There is also 15 gridseeds that are left over i'm selling as single units plug and play right now.

Thx for the update!
