Bitcoin is too inflexible for what Ethereum is trying to do and vice versa. With Bitcoin Ethereum has a safe and reliable store of value which it can integrate into its systems. With Ethereum Bitcoin has a platform uniquely suited to expand its potential. It's a win-win situation.

Of zoiets:

[...] Als we naar een ATH gaan [...]
Mwoah, dat is ergens vanaf begin 2017.[...]
Waarom denk je dat? [...]
Technische analyse. [...]

I'd rather see some mayhem in this market first.
Let's bump the limit and see what happens.

Nobody wants to deal with this problem once this is a gazillion trillion market.
Bump this shit now, see what happens and act accordingly.

Just like you let your kids get all kinds of bacteria through playing with dirt and putting everything in their mouth.
Kids have to get sick first so they will be resilient as an adult.

If you prevent your kids to get sick by putting them in sterile surroundings, they'll die soon when they grow up...

^^The Truth.

Bitcoin ain't for kids.

Bitcoin is a kid, right now...

Here, use this:

www.cryptowill.com

You can write 72 char readable messages in the blockchain.
You can even sign them to prove they are yours.

Bye bye twitter...

Sub $300 coins around february 11th.
BFX might flash crash as low as $160 for a nanosecond
After that:

Hold your fiat.

But I closed my short 2 days ago and went long because we're about to test 430 something.
And then drop to 300 something,.. in may.

So no mayhem soon...

116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does price fall when I buy and it rises after I sell? on: January 23, 2016, 09:47:27 AM
And avoid putting too much stock in the news.  Unless you're an insider or know someone who is, you will not know what's really going on behind a price move.  The news is mostly market noise and could affect your trading.

Later on when you meet people on the forum, it's good to join or start your own trading group and do all your research together, share strategies, etc...  It really helps get better at trading and it definitely helps your bottom line.

Of course you should!
Generally speaking you should sell with positive news, not buy.

Luckily most mining pools are intelligent and have our best interests in mind like most of the developers and these drastic steps likely will never be needed.

Its a fatal misapprehension to believe that any actor in Bitcoin has your best interests in mind. Bitcoin works because everyone can work to their own advantage. Its been designed that these interests naturally self align without any central coordinating function.

There is no invisible hand here - and devs have no business guiding anyone.

Satoshi obviously understands human nature and planned Bitcoin accordingly. One of the mistakes he admitted was offering no reward for running a full node. People still do it with the best interests of the network in mind, but there are decreasing numbers of people prepared to do it for nothing. There would be an order of magnitude more nodes if people were rewarded for running one.

Do you have a reference for that? I'm very interested to read about it.

inevitably we will have to increase block size

but with Segwit and all the other scaling work done, we won't need much more than a few dozen MB in the end.
We?

You do not have my consent.
Create you're own alt coin.
Fuck the fork, I will stay on the legacy chain.
Make your coins obsolete by spending them on the fork...
