wow...

price was stable at 333 and there is volume to back it up.    Grin Grin Grin

keep it up bitcoiners... keep it 333  until next halving.    Cheesy

Would not be surprised when it ends up being the avarage price until next halving.
I see (crystal ball!) it floating around between 200 and 500.

Don't sell for euro/dollar. Buy as much you can with BTC, helping the btc-infrastucture! Smiley
Seems like you're a senior member now Wink

price of btc mining of 100usd Huh

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

impossible bro... electricity is not free

No free would mean 0 usd / btc, duh
1084  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 23, 2014, 10:45:18 AM
you can call bs, but I get similar numbers - about 100~120 $ for 1 btc.

hardware cost excluded, but most hardware is working for months already. hell, i got bitfury gear which is more than 1 year old and still mining with profit.
So why is hashing rate dropping then?

maybe some noobs didnt do their homework and have expensive electricity.

I dont care really.

Expensive electricity and/or expensive hardware(imported stuff with taxes) and/or taxes.

How much left after taxes.

If you ever bother with them at all.

no taxes for btc here.

Note to self: wait for 100$ btc

I think we won't go that low because 100$ BTC mining costs are the bottom and not the avarage.
Once difficulty drops (a lot) this could change of course, but I think there are other problems to give attention to then.

I'm getting sick and tired of this 333 stuff.
Can we please skip this part and drop to 270 already?

I'm getting sick and tired of this 333 stuff.
I'm sick of bouncing off and think we should blast through instead.

I know there's a little bull inside you... let it grow. Nourish it, so it can take over. A time will come when the bear must let go.

My bull will be released around january 14th. I'll go all in, whatever price.

Why not now?

Because I'm a greedy motherfucker with too little coins (<10).
I want to buy them cheap for maximum profit.
I think price will get below 275 for a brief moment in time.
My buy orders will be there.
If I miss it, I will panic buy and fuel the bubble which will bring us to 1 gazillion USD/BTC and will be happy as well.

1089  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: What will the USD/BTC exchange rate do as the dollar collapses? on: December 23, 2014, 12:07:24 AM
Betting on a dollar collapse, at this point, is exceptionally stupid. It remained stable during the crises years from 2008-2013 and is now surging with the US economy. Low fuel prices only add fuel to that fire and obviously the Fed has stopped QE and may soon be selling bonds to push up interest rates. All bullish for USD.
Last time I checked FED balance sheet it expanded without pace.
Now they say they have stopped, but Japan is jumping in the same role.

I don't think it is stupid to bet on a collapse because sooner or later it will happen.
If it happens in 20 years, I'm very happy to have taken precautions already.
Later, I will watch this post and smile.

Heck, I might even edit the post and add another smiley! Wink
1090  Economy / Speculation / Re: Poll: What will the USD/BTC exchange rate do as the dollar collapses? on: December 23, 2014, 12:02:12 AM
All people want to get rid of their dollars once it collapses.
Anything you can buy with it is good enough, also bitcoin.
I think paper gold will collapse as well.
Nobody is stupid enough to trade gold for paper at a collapse.
Well, maybe one or two morons.
1091  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 22, 2014, 03:58:08 PM
I don't like the market movement.
I went margin short because the price *must* go to at least 270.
Because my crystal ball said so.

Don't tell me what wallet to use.
Customer is always king.
I don't want to use another wallet.
In the end the result will be that I'm not motivated to play anymore.
Could be a business strategy to help addicted gamblers, but I don't think it's good for your profit.

You're free to play from any compatible* wallet, but for the best experience it is suggested that you use a wallet that supports reuse of change addresses or manual private key import, such as blockchain.info, Mycelium, or Electrum. The newer versions of bitcoin-core also support address reuse to a lesser degree. Address reuse allows you to use the on-site tracking features such as the "Your Bets" tab and the Bet Browser analysis, and helps ensure your eligibility to receive a chat-lotto prize. You are not required to reuse addresses, but many of the site features are improved if you do.

*However, it is Lucky Bit's responsibility to tell you which wallet you can (or cannot) use with the service. Sending coins from a wallet where you are not the sole controller of the private keys may result in your bet's result payment being lost. There is nothing Lucky Bit can do about this; Lucky Bit determines the address to send a result payment to from the received transaction and if you don't control the keys to that transaction, you probably won't be credited with the result. Never use an exchange, other off-chain gambling site, or third-party coin service such as Coinbase or Xapo to send a bet to Lucky Bit!

I just made a suggestion to make the game better.
The idea is to never reuse an address again with bitcoin.
Many wallets are programmed like this for several reasons.
I only made the suggestion you still could offer highlighting for personal bets when you provide private gambling address for every person.

I know about all your arguments, I just wanted to hit and run this forum with a good suggestion, not to end in a discussion.
You decide what to do with it, not me.

I told you, I don't get motivated to play at your website when I see 30 coins a second because I can't distinguish mine.
I also don't want to change wallets because I have very good reasons to stick with my current wallets (for example my mobile wallet, this one changes every address all the time and I like that feature)
I don't want to tell that developer to fuck of with his address policy and stick with one wallet address all the time so that I can see my gambling coins. It is not my business. He decide how to code the wallet and I like the concept of changing addresses.

You decide what to do with it.

Again, it could be a business plan to de-motivate gamblers,.. but I don't think it's good for profit, that's all. No offend.

In the end, it's probably only me with a twisted mind.

Well if you want to feel more easy to see your coins/bets better use simple wallet like blockchain.info
And you can do multiple bets too with that wallet.

Since my wallet spits out a new address everytime, I cannot highlight my own bets with the feature provided on the website.
But since there are many bets it's sometimes very difficult to define your own coins.

Solution:
Provide private betting addresses so that I'm presented a unique address and the website is able to show me my own bets without me defining the sending address.
Those private betting addresses shouldn't be too private otherwise the provable fair factor is gone I guess...

But it is one of the main reasons I always bet one of the unpopular colors so that I can identify my own bets easier.
