281  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I make Bitcoins with my knowledge? on: July 26, 2015, 04:24:41 PM
Recently I've heard about Bitcoins and it seems like something I want to get into.

Then either you are very young or lived under a rock.

Anyway. Use your knowledge to safeguard your coins.

I've put that wrong it seems. I knew about Bitcoins for a long time but was never interested in it particularly.

Also, could you go more in-depth about that?

Thank you!

Well, if you are tech savy (and it looks like you are), you are more able to protect your coins from loss than other users.
You probably know how to back up your shit. Use that knowledge.
Just buy, hold and backup, wait.
Wait some more
Wait some more
Sell, or use.

282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I will sell a significant part of my Bitcoin hodlings at price ... on: July 26, 2015, 04:21:08 PM
$10,000 sounds good, but when Bitcoin reaches that price it will be widely accepted everywhere.

No it doesn't. Impossible.
15,000,000 coins x $10,000 = 150 billion market cap.

Way too small to be widely accepted.

Add three extra zero's and you can say it's widely accepted (or starting to be)
283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WOULD LOVE TO LEND OTHERS ;) HELP REQUIRED ! on: July 26, 2015, 03:58:39 PM

Cryptosun Roll Eyes

You could put your coins on bitfinex and lend them out using their platform.
The interest is low and might be not worthwhile the risk.

Nice to see that $2000 will be a bear trap.
286  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Bitcoin speculatie draad on: July 25, 2015, 08:47:24 PM

Eventueel ergens in duitsland of belgie ofzo?

To The M.....ike Tyson Bitcoin ATM ┗(°0°)┛

https://twitter.com/MikeTyson/status/624986928690036737

How much mike tyson will pump bitcoin ?

(i hope he will not make bitcoin KO  Grin )

He's got 4.9 million followers. All positive publicity & exposure is good right? Lets hope Mike's tweet gets people researching bitcoin & investing. Lord knows we need something to give us a push up.

My twitter stream is exploding with retweets, wtf.
Maybe it's just good to have a 'guy from the street' doing something with bitcoin.
It'll convince people that bitcoin is good, and dollar is bad.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stolen bitcoins! can i do anything on: July 25, 2015, 06:50:55 PM
You are sure your coins are stolen?
If I read the FAQ, at one point it says:

Quote
Your URL is Your Key
Bookmark your wallet’s secret URL to access your RushWallet in the future. Please note, this is your private URL so do not share it with anyone. If you lose this URL your bitcoins will be lost forever.

So, if you access https://rushwallet.com you create a new wallet again, with no coins inside.
You need to access the wallet with a special URL.
You should look into the history of your browser to find the URL. I hope you did not clean it.

By the way, first time I hear of rushwallet.
It really makes using bitcoin very very easy.
I don't know if they are trustworthy and if the source code is readable to see if there are no backdoors.

I use something similar with mymonero.com to store some monero's

That being said, if you sync your browser history with some service, or when an app got access to your browser history you're toast.(if you did not password protect your wallet)

Long term MA is now flat. Bullish!

Great! Just like December 2014
291  Economy / Speculation / Re: Direction is NNE (north northeast) - MOON TIME on: July 25, 2015, 12:21:53 PM
Before bitcojn explodes up,  expect strong final sell.  Then moon.
So you expect a similar pattern as late 2013?
I think it is more like early 2012
292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Direction is NNE (north northeast) - MOON TIME on: July 25, 2015, 11:30:01 AM
Counting down hours for next step up...
That were actually minutes instead of hours  Wink
293  Economy / Speculation / Re: Direction is NNE (north northeast) - MOON TIME on: July 24, 2015, 10:05:32 PM
Ok, I've just got back home for lunch and looked at the price and it's gone up $10. Ask......if this continues I'll only listen to your predictions in the future.

Crazy stuff

There is only one truth there, just "ask". Smiley

BTW do u have any predictions on altcoins?

I don't believe in altcoins.  There is possibility that I will believe in bitcoin sidechain derivates in the future.

Monero and MaidSAFE are the only ones worth hodling long term.

Except MaidSAFE is a shit name which renders it worthless.
Of course it's my own opinion.

Fair enough. Many were skeptical of "bitcoins" which sounds like the coins Mario would get in Super Mario World. Also, MaidSafe Coins will be exchangeable for SAFE Coins once the SAFE network goes live sometime later this year.

I actually think Monero is a perfect name.
It's is suitable for a reserve currency name.
It is the exact translation for 'coin' in esparanto.
It is for me one of the few reasons to hold a very small speculative gamble amount of those tokens.
But in the end I also think they will be rendered worthless. I'm a holder without belief.

Can I ask what is so good about Gemini?

Aren't there already exchanges? Why expect a upward movement in price?

Just wondering.

Thanks
This exchange will attract new institutional investors.

Also, we can make a new countdown timer for it's launch. Countdown timers always work in bitcoin. Tongue

Yes, that coinbase counter work pretty good like 'maximize your profits onto the second'
I sold the news Grin

And then 700 ---> moon

You know there are things like timezones right?
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: July 24, 2015, 02:40:33 PM
because you cant do nothing with bitcoin that you cant already do with fiat currency. this is the real and hard true.

You can make a phone call by going to a website and paying in bitcoins without signing up.

You can send money worldwide for less than pennies.

You can use your cell phone to pay for things instead of carrying around a phone AND a wallet.

You don't have to worry about identity theft with your cards.

You can vote anonymously and securely.

Why you would want to pay without sign up? You will have to provide your address and your name or you wont receive the package that you are buying...

I can now send money worldwide for pennies with my bank.

Pay things with cellphone? I already do that for months!!! Apple pay, android nfc, qr codes...

I dont worry about identity thefts because i know how to surf the web and i have a service that provides me digital credit cards for single purchases online. 1 new card for each purchase with the exact limit for that purchase. So no worries here too.

Vote anonymously? Lol, you already vote anonymously... Votes must be anonymously or they arent votes...

Like i said, you cant do nothing that matters with bitcoin that you cant already do with fiat currency. That's why nobody is talking about it anymore. Only here because people here wants to be rich without hard work... Sorry that wont happen.

No you cant. You can't send 1 dollar to japan or africa or some place, and you cant send 1 million dollars, both for 0,02853 USD if you use the standard fee.
And this is 1% of what Bitcoin can do that we aren't talking about. Bitcoin is superior to all forms of money and will deprecate tons of industries worldwide, and do things we can't even imagine now, just like we couldn't imagine social networks in 1992 internet.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkO9hxVv4lU

Here's a good start. Go study, you are clueless and in denial to not take the risk to invest and hold.

Sshhhhh, don't push too much.
We need them later, to buy our coins. high.

Ahh, is it CCMF time? The bulls are now well rested after taking a break from the last run, let's see what we can really do.

Not sure if the IBTimes leak regarding BNP is true...

No surprise, the were allegedly involved in the bids for silk road coins.

And you know what to do. Buy the rumour, sell the news.
Being a permabull I'll hold
