Wait for the little crash before buying
Don't wait, you'll be late.
542  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 03, 2015, 12:26:14 PM
Wait for it...

Everybody seems to be waiting,.. it's quiet over here and there are hardly any trades last 30 minutes.
Silence before the storm?
543  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 03, 2015, 12:14:56 PM
finex holding 240

There is still hope

Well, if you're trading on hope I have one advice.

SELL and don't trade anymore.
544  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 03, 2015, 11:10:30 AM
So.... $300 by tomorrow?
Could be 350+ in a week.
Watch 260, all hell will break loose when we cross that point.
545  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 03, 2015, 10:50:48 AM
It's probably a repost, but I've just read it for the first time.
This is the biggest news I've ever read about bitcoin.
Bitcoin as payment for taxes renders fiat totally useless finally.

https://legiscan.com/NH/text/HB552/2015

The US Marshal's office just sell Bitcoin when they get it.

If people pay taxes in Bitcoin, then the monetary supply system needs to have Bitcoin as part of the infrastructure, otherwise the IRS will just dump Bitcoin a few months after the end of tax season.

So that's not gonna work in the short-term. Maybe when government contractor's start accepting bitcoin, then you might have a point.

it doesn't matter atm how far the acceptation level is...but it already began...isn't the upcoming new jersey regulation also something like this

and if they actually hold bitcoin for a while until they dump them it is extremely bullish short term

It's extremely bullish short and long term.
They also explicitly say bitcoin, not any other shitcoin.
I'm pretty much flabbergasted, I'm not sure if I should put the rest of my life savings into bitcoin.
Well it doesn't really matter, I only have 3% left in fiat Grin

Really obvious trap going on here, but still a lot of people here immediatly fall for it. It is telling about how gullible quite a few people here seem to be. One whale moves the market and BOOM: we are going over 300 dollars for sure! Soon to be followed by: last time we see 200's, to the moon!, etc.

I always wonder if it is really one whale. I don't believe it.
I think the "whale" is a whole bunch of panic bulls joined together.

I believe that small investors, let's say the ones that hold less than 500 BTC, have really little influence on the market. The upswing we saw today was very sudden, and completed in a rather short timeframe (again!), which makes me believe that it is either one party or multiple parties working together to manipulate the price upwards.

That's what I'm saying. It's multiple parties working together, with or without prior agreement.
I joined the pump as well, but did not made a prior agreement with anybody.
You're right that I'm a small investor, but many people like me also move the target.

That said, I think we're going to 323ish

That might be true, but when dumps of 1000's and 1000's of coins happen in a shot time, then it becomes evident its a whale not dumps from many people.

Why? It could also be an automatic stoploss hitting the target.

I love bulls, this will end so bad for most of them... and to be honest, I kind of like it Cheesy

BTW, I don't think it is going over 300

I love bears, this will end so bad for most of them... and to be honest, I kind of like it Cheesy

BTW, I'm sure it is going over 300

I think this pump might have something to do with google going to copy uber with autonomous cars.
How would you pay in such a taxi?

Right, with bitcoin of course!
552  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 02, 2015, 11:25:21 PM
elon musk = satoshi?

Did you also see that message flashing in and out this thread?
553  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 02, 2015, 11:09:25 PM
WTF, GREEN DILDOS EVERYWHERE!!!!

Yes, my signature campaign said it was a spam message, but I was right about it.
Here, perfectly on topic and a correct forecast Wink

Price forecast for coming hours/days.

554  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 02, 2015, 11:06:51 PM
I knew this was gonna happen.
In fact, I said it yesterday.
I think this one will push beyond 300.
Major panic it seems.
555  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 01, 2015, 07:51:39 PM
20k worth of shorts gonna get squeezed real good.

Those finex walls are the guy who shorted 4k at 220 yesterday getting rekt.

I think juncker just set this bitcoin rocket on fire.
I mean, euro crisis has really started now this weekend.
Get in before 250, or be sorry later.
556  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] [NEW RATES] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: February 01, 2015, 12:33:24 PM
So to make it clear. You've accepted that some of your posts were not counted and now your goal is to get Lobster kicked out from campaign or get his earning reduced?

Yes, people who are banned should not be in this campaign and certainly not be paid.

Quote
Do I get this right? Is this what you're trying to do?

You don't have a problem with that now don't you?
557  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] [NEW RATES] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: February 01, 2015, 12:26:23 PM
No payment is being withheld.
Except for the .17 for the 170 posts that are in dispute, in addition to the .1 that he would potentially be entitled to for being a top poster in the month of January

It's not being withheld since the user wasn't entitled to the payment in the first place.
That is something he obviously does not agree with. You gave examples of posts that you did not count that were allowed according to your rules.

Must be constructive to the thread posted in.

I deemed that those posts were not constructive and thus were disqualified.
The term "constructive" is very subjective. He is clearly disputing the fact they were not constructive. Additionally having 100+ posts that are not constructive is spamming and that much spam would have gotten him banned. From what I can tell he was not - his post history is generally even.

On the other hand someone making 400+ posts in a week and then not posting the rest of the month is a sign that someone was in fact banned.

LOBSTER basically earned 0,6 BTC in 6 days which means 0,1BTC a day.  Shocked
Must have been the best sig campaign payout rate ever. Grin
Spread the same amount in a month and he would have earned 3BTC with multiple accounts.

I would just like to have this thing cleared up and hope it will not happen again.
Everybody makes errors, it's human.

I assume that bit-x have a certain budget for this campaign.
If people who break the rules still get paid, there is less budget for the remaining people in this campaign.

This month I will try my best to make things fair and either be tough on everyone or allow all posts (even spam ones) through (which I don't want).

This. This is all I'm asking. Same rules for everyone. Thanks.

Quote
As I have said, there will be users who get past and may get a few more posts counted while others might be caught and their post count reduced. This should serve as a lesson to not spam.

It's just my posting style (in that thread), and the "spamming" is just the way people talk over there.

The wall observer thread is just a garbage bin filled with trolls and junk posts. It's the place where people come to post and run, especially when they are drunk.
You should not take anything serious over there, you like it or you hate it. We should be happy to have this junk concentrated in one thread and not spread around the forum. But in the end it is the most active and read thread of the forum which gives the biggest exposure to the signatures.

I don't mind to have *all* posts over there rejected, it makes counting easier for you.
I could also imagine that those posts fit in a certain category which is unfavorable for the campaign, fair enough.
But I hate it when it only applies to some people...

My faith in this campaign has been restored with all you said. For a moment I also thought you might own LOBSTER account, but not anymore.

I hope I'm still allowed in this campaign with all my criticism, I would like to re-enroll for the new period if necessary.
I still keep a close eye on the enforcement of the rules.

558  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] [NEW RATES] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: January 31, 2015, 08:21:56 PM
In reference to the single image posts, there is currently nothing in the rules that state that single image posts are not allowed. Therefore there is no reason why single image posts should be excluded (unless they are in a thread that is otherwise excluded).
...
Doesn't matter whether it's a text, single image, gif or whatever. Posts must be constructive. Period.
What is constructive and what isn't is subjective, and in every sig campaign (that pays for post) it's down to campaign manager to decide.

True, and therefor I made the discussion easier because it would end up in an endless discussion otherwise:

One of the rules:
Those who post the majority of their posts in a few days then stop posting will be denied payment

Number 1 poster LOBSTER did not the majority but all 466 posts in the first 6 days. Period.

559  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] [NEW RATES] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: January 31, 2015, 06:33:26 PM
I ultimately will have to I guess. I just give him the chance to correct the issue first
560  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] [NEW RATES] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: January 31, 2015, 05:05:25 PM
And the problem even becomes worse.

It was actually 0,5992BTC what was paid because he was number one.

Number one poster LOBSTER did not only post all of his 466 posts in 6 days:

37 of them were in german so are rejected without discussion.

At least 5 of them are in this thread and therefor also rejected without discussion:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=877765.msg9984778#msg9984778 Signature campaing thread

So that makes 42 total rejected posts without any point of discussion about the rules whatsoever.

So, since there were 50 rejected posts total, there must be 8 more.
I have reviewed all the posts and these remaining 50 are just as doubtful as the ones you posted for me.
