You have no Watkins, that is his secret. Watkins is going to tear apart all the teams that don't have him. He is like a Harry Kane regen. How did you think buwaytress held on to first place for so long?

Watkins is a shoot and hope option - Nigga can go 5 matches blank without catching a break. Couldn't do it again dead Chelsea not sure he gonna do it against Crystal Palace and Liverpool ( excluding BHA) you should have him.  Grin

Buwaytress will not be there after Tonight  Grin Palmer will push him out.

Watkins and Raya are among the oldest survivors of my FPL. Even kept him on when he was injured. I didn't do the math but I think he and Saka are the biggest contributors to my tally this season.

Palmer..? He better do something, after wasting space on my midfield for 2 GWs! Oh and... Darwin still in my team but lost his captaincy. To... Palmer.

P.S. Me replying to Igebotz before noon on Friday with two posts. Not even my kids have this much attention. Also, congratulations to your moderator position. I better brush up on my pidgin..!

I pulled out 35 points and no noise about it  Grin; if it were the other way around, I'm sure you'd be poking my ass right now. I'm clueless about the rules here; am I getting a free bet or is there a Ninja who outscored me in this round?

PSG is going to knock out Dortmund and there's no single doubt in my head. PSG - Real Final.

I told you guys, no one wants to read OP =p

Freebets only apply to Pot A, sorry paid. But you did a bloody good job there, but you would have needed a lot more points to break into top 10. Should have gone for the scoreless final maybe?

PSG - Real Final, I'm hoping for it too. After 80% of this tournament being rather shit, I think this is the one we all deserve.

The less said about my last few weeks in football, the better. At least BVB gave us some kind of nice match to watch eh? Now if they actually win this, I will regret not taking the 18/1 outright I piffed at just a couple of weeks ago. Serves me right.

ajiz138 and notblox1 I see your caps, but we'll only award one final freebet for the top 3 after the final. So well done, but you've got 3 more games to go =) Everyone who got points this week will probably have a shot. 1miau happy anyway with the positive result Wink

All I had to do was believe in the draw to get myself into top 10...

Penalty from Son and a worldie for Palmer, all before HT, please. I can't go behind 0-2 before the weekend even starts!

Why did Sinner withdraw? I kinda hoped he'd give me a point here.

Injury? Pretense? Who knows Tongue Ok, ok, Sinner doesn't fake injury.

I knew I should have gone Rublev. Goddamn top seeds.

I didn't watch Alcaraz play yesterday, but even If I did I strongly doubt I would have gone for the ticking time bomb Rublev, I most certainly would have just gone for players from the same bracket to go all the way, in this instance it would have been (Medvedev - Sinner) knowing that one of them should make the finals, of course there is no way to know that Sinner would withdraw... Tennis Tennis Tennis Roll Eyes

Tennis indeed. Throw basketball into the mix. And DOTA. Sports, sports, sports.

The only certainty of BSFL is I should bet the opposite of 50% of my picks...

In other news, 4 NBA clashes are now with 3-2 scores so '0' looks like an unlikely outcome. I have 1, looking at the matchups it is possible but I have a feeling that 2 or more is the winner here.

Went better than I expected actually so far. At the time I submitted, all four were at 2-2s, so I knew then, based on my "50/50 statistics" rule for basketball (which has so far proven to be a very accurate model), we should have on average 2 teams tying at 3-3. Doesn't matter as notblox1 also thought the same.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | SFs on: May 02, 2024, 02:51:48 PM
I still can't believe how we lost the matchup against Olympiacos like this.  Sad  It was mostly because of our manager's fault unfortunately as he wasn't good at all with tactical choices. I had big hopes from Fenerbahçe to reach at least the semi finals and face Aston Villa. Even if we got past Olympiacos I assume that we would be destroyed by Aston Villa with this game though.

From now on I expect Aston Villa to destroy Olympiacos. They should be able to finish the job in the first leg already. I don't expect Aston Villa to lose the Conference League title to any team as well.

Missed this my man, and I was hoping for the same. I always feel like it's idiotic for teams like that to progress, since they ruin the games and won't make it to the final anyway. Emery will still be disbelieving his luck he landed the easier team in the semis. I really think it's written in the stars for Villa so it's theirs to lose, you're right.

P.S. I did see the match vs Chelsea and they did eventually drop points but that's to Chelski! No one left in Conference is half as talented.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | SFs on: May 02, 2024, 01:17:10 PM
Okay, I'm pretending to completely ignore the events of the last few weeks.

Surprisingly, I can't find much to cheer about from a betting perspective -- all teams left are evenly matched according to bookies; okay, Roma has the longest odds but 25/10 or so isn't really an underdog is it?

That means no betting for me, unless Leverkusen - Atalanta looks value to you...
107  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Which p2p cryptocurrency exchange is best for business on: May 01, 2024, 07:19:08 PM
Also, let's not be misguided. Both are not p2p exchanges. They are not decentralized.

Don't know about Shiftal but I'm seeing more and more people talk about Paxful as not a p2p platform, simply because it's not non-custodial. I've commented on it before and I think while I also recommend Bisq or similar over custodials, I see nothing wrong with people getting on Paxful and the like first to get the hang of how P2P should work.

Today, I do virtually all of my exchanges to fiat P2P -- directly with others, without using any platform. But this habit and network started on Localbitcoins -- the most centralised of them all, if you think about it.

I don't think that made it any less P2P... just "centralised" in various ways.

So you were waiting for the result between Alcaraz and Struff yesterday huh lol. I guess alot of people were waiting on that result as well and I was one of it as well then I had something to rush for so I put in Rublev to anticipate if Alcaraz lose against Struff which turned out to be a good decision after all. Now I just need Rublev to make it to the final to get a point against Hhampuz

And now Sinner withdrew. So it's a big ass draw question for maybe most of us?

I knew I should have gone Rublev. Goddamn top seeds.

Noice article Trofo. Though the first mention of Division 1 had the most unexpected outcome (I'm still laughing at CLS63!). Massive boost to all you title chasers.
Happened also when he did not show to derby with you in previous season Smiley I am writing article on Monday and trying to get it online Tuesday morning. Sometimes that process takes time and then it looks a bit strange when my points get trashed by deadline.

Always nice when league leader gets penalty points though  Grin Thanks cls63

Yeah, I remember very, very well. The derby that never happened. That's a team too confident they forgot they still need to show up on the pitch to get points.

Oh and, now I wish I listened to my gut seeing Alcaraz struggle yesterday and put Rublev in instead. Slight advantage for me vs notblox1 here, now the worst I can do on tennis question is draw.
110  Economy / Speculation / Re: Road to 100k? on: May 01, 2024, 04:26:44 PM
It could be that I was a bit overly harsh on the idea of trading, and I think part of my issue with folks thinking that they can trade bitcoin, is that ultimately it takes higher level skills (and perhaps some luck too), as compared to more straight forward long term accumulation and holding strategies.

Sure people can make money from trading, and they can even set their trades up in such a way that they will not lose (effectively betting both directions), but it still is not any kind of a practice that anyone should come to bitcoin and presume that they would do better from trading rather than employing some kind of a long term accumulation strategy.

I've only met maybe a handful of trading people and they're really not into convincing others to trade, nor do they ever talk about how profitable it is. If anything, they have their day jobs, and trading is, while technical and time-consuming, a serious hobby at most (but one that takes up a majority of their time).

People don't realise how vulnerable they are to greed (for lack of a more PC term) when trading, and just how easy it is to lose sight of objectives and treat trading as a roulette wheel.

Lately, been seeing some posts even dumping on plain old DCA but I don't get why anyone would rubbish on ironclad accumulation.

Guys you can't imagine how sad I am for being late for my submission.  Sad  I have been in the countryside for a while and I have a really weak signal here so I can't use the internet comfortably. This cost me wasting a week in the league here. First the elimination from the cup and now this... I have been the leader in Division 1 but after this round I'm going to lose a big advantage. From now on I will do my best to make up for this week.

I'm also very sad that you decided to do this, but not doing it during our round. Don't worry, you were #1 in this division so you won't suffer. Trofo and others will be so happy that the past few weeks has seen first place drop points.

I guess we could have decided to call for leniency in some certain scenario and for unhabitual people, but then that would cause a whole new level of fiasco and controversies from those who have partially made it a habit.
We can't, whenever there is not a strict rule in place at some point it becomes unfair towards somebody.

Yeah, we've had people get late submissions by seconds, the rule's the rule and it's there to paint a line for black-and-white, in sports where there are so many grey areas.

Let's just call CLS63 the one season one miss guy =p

Question, it's a rare thing for me but if you saved up 2 free transfers but feel like you only want to make one (for example, Mykolenko out, injured). Will you still have 2 next game week or must you use the 2 up this week?

Asking for a friend, of course, I know exactly what I'm doing every GW and never save up anything because I'm heroic.

Came in here because I had a mild shock today, opening my livescore app and seeing Cremonese playing -- only to remember that they were relegated last season and it's just a whole bunch of Serie B games. Also, didn't even realise Inter had already won! Times have really changed for me that I find out an entire week later and forget who the teams are even in Serie A.

Parma seem set for Promotion... and then a whole list of teams below I don't care much about. Just please don't get Sampdoria in again...

I'm still in with a shout on this pool, 4 games to go. I can do it!

Sorry guys, the submissions should be visible now. Copy paste error I didn't notice!

Real as usual, suffer 6 attempts and 2 on goal, hit back with just the one and convert. Looking good for the lot of us putting it all on Real!

I see many of us silly people waiting around for Sinner and Alcaraz games -- the latter of course just had to take it all the way to tiebreak, but once he was 3-0 up, didn't need to wait to hit send. Then as soon as I write this, Struff goes 4-3!

Actually really hate to leave it late but it really looked wobbly for them both, didn't it?

Of course, it'll all go to hell when they both drop out at semis haha.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cold Wallet - The First Real Crypto Movie on: April 30, 2024, 02:00:06 PM
The first real crypto movie? I was almost tempted to watch it until I saw the word "heist". At least Dope semi-described what Silk Road might have looked like for some people but why does a Bitcoin movie always have to have an element of crime attached?

I suppose the story of buway the guy who finally found a way to conduct business and send money home without restrictions is too boring for a "real crypto film".
