@Avp2306 thanks for sharing, I thought this game is Stack’em or drop’em since this the same mascot they are using for this game. I’m a fan of those 2 game I mention above since it gives an insane multiplier and different game mechanics that is unique compared the rest of slot games.

I will try my luck on this new ’Em game of Hacksaw. This game version of Hacksaw is known for being high volatility. I hope that I will gain big this coming weekends. Wink
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery Fever. What are your range of thoughts in response to Lucky Winners? on: April 15, 2024, 12:57:38 PM
I don't bet in the lottery because I know that I'll never win. I don't even take chances even I know that there's the slightest chance that I can win there.

You will never win if you didn’t make a bet. Having 1 ticket is enough for you to have a chance to win. I always purchase 1 to 10 tickets whenever the jackpot prize is already high just to try my luck.

But with that revenue that the government of US getting from their citizens who consistently bet on their lottery, it's because that the pot is also growing.

I've heard that the pot has increased up to $1-B and that's why everyone is getting crazy trying to hit that jackpot.

I check the powerball website of US but I don’t see the billion dollars jackpot prize anymore. I read to in the news before that the pot prize increase to that level but there’s no news about who win that powerball.

It’s so awesome being a billionaire by just purchasing a ticket that cause only few dollars out of your pocket. Shocked
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is gambling to you, a fanfare or potential financial havoc? on: April 15, 2024, 12:34:44 PM
Are you new to it? And did you experience it your self or you only learn it from reading threads on this section? But whichever they are, it's great that you are now learning. Even though I haven't seen a survey yet, to know if what percentage of gamblers are playing for the profit and for entertainment, I can agree with you that many people are playing for the profit because this is what I have observed in myself and the people around me.

I doubt that there will be a realistic survey available to determine gamblers if they are playing for profit or fun because everyone will said that they are just doing it for fun even though their focus is profit because it’s very hard to focus only on entertainment if you are already losing in the game.

Emotions and money is different from each other but money can allow us to feel a lot of emotions.

Yeah, this is very true. Money can make everything serious. A simple game can turn to become so serious and result to life wrecking experience when money is already involved. This is why its very hard to play pure entertainment when you are risking money.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Neymar being addicted to online poker on: April 15, 2024, 09:12:06 AM
Look how people turned negative to Neymar after giving little attention during birthday of his child. People judge him, when they themselves arent perfect parents either. Everyone have skeletons in their closets. What if he has spent hours with his daughter before and this is his first minutes of free time. Imo, if this were a birthday party with lots of guests, and he would show little attention to them and instead sit somewhere and played poker, then it will be fair to treat him like that. But since this is a short video, and their family is spending their private time, I think it is wrong to put such tags as "bad parent" on him.

The problem is he already has a limited time due to his football career and other endorsements yet he can’t spare a free time to enjoy his daughter birthday celebration instead he is playing poker. If you are a father with busy schedule, will you still gamble during precious time of your child?

Also he is showing that he is gambling in front of everyone during the actual celebration date. It only show that he didn’t care much about what he is celebrating because he can play anytime he wants but he will only celebrate birthday celebrations 1 time per year.

This is a clear sign of addiction.
105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crafting a safer strategy for growing your crypto portfolio: on: April 15, 2024, 09:04:21 AM

One thing I have realized is immediately an exchange announces either a launchpool or launchpad, the exchange token continues to surges because many users want to buy and participate to earn free token. So after the event, you get double rewards, you can decide to sell your newly acquired tokens and also sell the exchange token at a higher price. This process has helped me build a great bag. The ENA launchpool event that just ended on Bitget is a testament that participating in this kind of events are greatly rewarding.

Have you explored such opportunities before? Feel free to share your experiences.

Launchpool and Launchpad provide higher APY by staking a stable asset rather the DeFi since there’s a lot of demand for that new token. New project usually choose this path to get funding instead entering the IDO process since this way the price growth will organic because it will came from interested buyers that want to let in on the hype.

But there’s always a danger on joining a pool like this because you are entrusting your funds on CEX while their business can be shutdown when shit happened just like the FTX scenario.

This is the way of CEX to hold the funds of their users in exchange for an airdrop tokens.

Everyone claimed that they wanted the dips, every friends I knew have been screaming about Bitcoin dips for weeks now.

Finally it's happening, are you buying already? Because I asked three friends via WhatsApp and they wanted more dips.

People that crying for dip is always scared on buying whenever there’s a price movement regardless of upward or downward movement. They are crying for dip because they are scared to purchase when the price is increasing which they do too when the price id dipping. People like this usually purchased when Bitcoin is on top because the only thing that will push them to buy out of fear is the hype.

It seems that the Iran Israel conflict is affecting the price of Bitcoin but also do not forget that every bullrun has ever has a 30% plus drops on the way up, its obvious if you are good at reading charts.

Bitcoin halving is already around the corner. I think the war intensifies the bearish move which frequently happened when halving is already near to occur then price will pump after the event when weak hands shake off.
107  Economy / Economics / Re: Prioritizing strong foundation over quick gains on: April 14, 2024, 04:26:23 PM
Work smart not hard. This is what I’m always using whenever I have a job that doesn’t pay me well for my work done. This is the only reason why I manage to land on a company that value me more because I have a lot of previous coworkers that still working on my old company doing same hard job that pay less while I’m already climb the rank on my new company with less work and more salary because I have a team already.

I think this is same on investment. It’s not bad to focus on faster way to get rich as long as you still apply risk manager on your investments, best example on this case is moving your fiat saved on bank and invest it on Bitcoin. This is much quicker way to get rich with risk involved.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local/Traditional Gambling Spots on: April 14, 2024, 04:22:30 PM
But the younger gamblers have different perception on gambling, their interest is on the amount of money they win or lose , they find it very hard to work on their emotions, they play constantly even when they have lost a lot of money however, I prefer seeing the older men gamble than seeing younger ones gamble .

It’s normal approach for young man to become greedy because they still have a lot of plan and dreams for their future while old man usually doesn’t think much about what they want to achieve further because they are already done that part.

There’s a saying in my local that old people usually said to the young one the quote “ You're on your way, I'll be back” that simply means they already achieved what young man is trying to achieve in terms of experience.

You will feel a relax bet if you don’t think anymore about having more money and just focus to be happy with your remaining life.
109  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xBet Biggest Scam and Violation of Terms on: April 14, 2024, 03:56:03 PM

What's the one conclusion here? One can only hope people start researching a site for at least 30 seconds before depositing thousands of $ there.
I mean a simple search with "1xbet scam" or "1xbet trust" would have been enough to see what kind of site they are.
Yet people are still falling for this, it's unbelievable.

When I try out a new site I always do some research about them. Look at reviews, read about KYC and withdrawal times and terms, and so on. Why is it so hard to do that? In real life people are so careful with their cash but on the internet they really like to just throw it away.  Roll Eyes

The tricky part on this thread is seems like this becomes a scheme to 1xbet because the user recover his funds out of nowhere due to kindness of 1xbet support. It’s shady because there’s a lot of customers here that has problem on this casino and threaten them for legal action yet this casino yield but this case seems like a too good to be true considering the background of this casino.

Here’s the OP last update

After 2 months , finally one of their departments answered to my request .
"Hello. Your request has been accepted by us for consideration.

Maybe it's the effect of bitcointalk forum Smiley

The common problem to newbie gambler usually relies on ads and check the reputation later on.
110  Economy / Gambling / Re: My betting strategies on: April 14, 2024, 03:31:40 PM

Good strategies, but most times checking head to head doesn't help,  history always tend to repeat itself, that's true but football is very unpredictable...most times the outcome of a game might not depend on how the teams have played against themselves in previous matches...at the end of the day it's just a game of luck
really mate? I am not that good in sportsbetting but i thought that  Football is predictable ? but as how you mentioned this I think now that I am interested in sports gambling maybe I need to put big look in this advise .
now I know that it is Luck .

Football is much harder to predict compared to other sports in my opinion because there’s a lot pf players involved that can contribute to the factor of winning. It’s not like basketball which same star player carrying the team since it’s impossible to do this on football due to area of the field and the number of players of both team.

Some football team dominates the league but sometimes they lose to the most unexpected team when they can’t break through the enemy defense. I’m not familiar that much on football but it’s one of the sports which I always skip when it comes to betting.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Run - Gambling - New Coins on: April 13, 2024, 05:58:52 PM
I would like to hear from you how much you allocate for the risk associated with buying coins in presaleRoll Eyes
How do you determine the budget for this? It is known that a coin that takes off can achieve even x100 or more, so someone who is lucky can earn many times more than they risked.  Huh

Do you buy, for example, 10 random coins for 100$ each, or do you wait for something interesting and invest heavily?  Huh

Do you use any alpha groups or investor groups? What kind, for example?

I rarely join the presale market but I always check what companies backing it to guarantee that there will be an initial liquidity available for the token once released to the market aside from the money gathered on presale.

Most of the presale buyers refer to what VC backing the project before they start aping in. The harder the requirements to join the presale means the higher profitability it can give since it only means the demand is too high for users to join easily.

I love all games   - 19 (29.7%)
Casino   - 8 (12.5%)
Sports betting   - 32 (50%)
other   - 5 (7.8%)

Result of the poll so far. From 64 voters, 50% of them are sports bettor while only 12.5% are casino games players.
Is it also a proof why when there are casino games competition in this forum, the number of participants is not as much as when there are FREE sports prediction contest?
Or is it merely because sports prediction is FREE then there are always more members who are participating while most casino games contest requires participants to spend some money?

I think the last part is true. Since most of the prediction thread is free while most of the users that hang out on gambling board usually a sports fan specifically football. Posting a prediction is easy for them because they don’t need to risk money at all unlike casino promotions that usually require wagering requirements or different targets just to qualify for a cost of money.

I’m not participating on prediction contest here because I’m not familiar with football which is the common game for the contest but I can join them even without knowledge and just use sportsbook odds as reference on what is the perfect pick that can give a good result on the contest, this show how easy to participate on sportsbook than casino games contest.
113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you tried Pre-Market Trading? on: April 13, 2024, 04:42:13 PM
I wanted to see if any of you have experience with Pre-Market Trading. What are your thoughts?

I have an experience on using pre market trade but in a form of IOU tokens which users purchased token in IOU form that is not real token. Those IOU tokens will be converted to the real token once it was minted and distributed in the public.

The current pre market trading is kinda sketchy and risky at the same time because you will need to deposit as collateral for your orders in able to backed it. Buying on IOU market is more simple and safe than the current model of pre-market which is complicated.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celebrity Poker Games: Publicity Stunt or Genuine Passion? on: April 12, 2024, 04:28:42 PM

Do you think their participation helps to popularize the game and bring it to a wider audience, or is it just another platform for their publicity?

Absolutely, they add more entertainment on the game due to their popularity. They are still human that has a craving on gambling, there’s nothing wrong seeing them play poker against regular players. I doubt that they are using gambling for publicity stunt since they have social media to do that rather than playing poker. I consider it as they are just exploring poker since it’s really good to pro players from the side lines.

Any your thoughts and any stories or cases of celebrity gambling that caught your attention. Have you come across any celebrities who are serious about their gambling pursuits? Or do you feel like these appearances are more for show than for the love of the game?

Kevin Hart is one of my favorite celebrity that play poker. His comedy act is still hit at the right spot even while playing poker.  Cheesy

116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Betting. Why the Distinction? on: April 12, 2024, 03:05:22 PM
There's a big difference between gambling and betting and to the best of my ability, I'll throw more insight to what I just said now. Gambling is anything that an individual willingly takes risks to get huge rewards at the end while betting is a form of gambling because in betting, you're required to stake money or a valuable in a risk to be rewarded hugely at the end. Gambling is wider than betting because different people use different things and engagements to gamble but in betting, you'll either stake money or or something else that has the same value with the amount if money expected of you.

You are talking about different form of gambling that doesn’t involved money which is irrelevant on this discussion because we are on gambling discussion board which obviously the one that involves money is always in subject of discussion here.

Gambling and betting is just the same if we use the general description of both words assuming gambling with money is what we are discussing. Both involves money to risk on game with odds. The only difference is gambling usually use to describe the actual game while betting is use specifically to describe your money at stake.

@Betwrong what a nice experiment using live RTP. This proves that Bitcasino is not talking bullshit when they display high live RTP on specific game.  Cheesy

I’m still hunting my x1000 multiplier that is very dodgy these days. On the positive side, I’m still on breakeven zone due to the frequent small to medium win that I can get on random bonus game.

I discovered too a sign on Chaos Crew 2 bonus buy that your bonus will already be over even if you still have a couple of spin left. The blue monster at the top of the slot game will shake if the next remaining spin will be all dead spin. So as long as this blue monster doesn’t shake, you will still get a couple of re-spin.

118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone play mini-games like mining? on: April 11, 2024, 02:18:28 PM
I see there are many such apps in Google play, some of them look very good, what are everyone playing?

Waste of time since most of them required of viewing ads in able to get quick tokens and some has different task which you will not receive enough tokens to withdraw even if you complete all the task. Worst is you will receive useless token in the end while you spend most of your time doing different task and consume energy for nothing.

Invest on mining rig if you want to do a profitable mining. All mining apps on playstore or appstore is designed to exploit gullible users that will be interested to earn by just using their smartphone to complete task that will benefit the owner of the app.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling: Modern entertainment or highly addictive game? on: April 11, 2024, 01:02:34 PM
The proliferation of online gambling in recent years has opened a new era for the gambling industry. According to statistics, there are about 800 companies in the world, with servers in 70 different countries providing more than 4,000 virtual slot machines, 600 virtual casino points, 300 bingo sites, 260 sports betting sites and 240 online poker points. With gambling increasingly legalized in many countries, this can be considered a modern entertainment game.

This is the day the game industry attracts many workers (directly or indirectly) and generates a large amount of revenue. With the legalization of some online gambling, the number of players has also increased significantly. And this is considered a quite popular recreational game in some countries.

Can you share the source with this statistics that you mention because Philippines alone have more than 100 online casino registered on our PAGCOR while other countries has much larger online casino registered especially country that has high frequency of gambling such as Australia and many more.

Quote

What is online gambling in your personal opinion? Are your feelings different from when you play traditional gambling? Does it affect your gambling habits when you play online? Please share your experiences here.

Online is more addictive than the traditional gambling because it’s convenient while a simple thinking about gambling will make a user gambling immediately that will cause addiction later on when the frequency of the game is already high.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling : Next Generation Challenges on: April 11, 2024, 12:49:05 PM
Lol, if we want to make gambling more social and popular, we should have something like gambling education (based on sex education) to teach people to play for fun but responsibly.  Cool #ResponsibleGaming

I agree!! because once this idea will be implemented in the near future, This also means that more younger people will engage in gambling because it is easy access, especially now that gambling sites can only be found on digital sites. It will be more fun to gamble when there is personal/virtual interaction with other players like of those in casino houses but let's also remember that this kind of activity that is steeped in technology is prone to many things and diseases so it would be good for us to have gambling education to also give guide and tips to people who are just starting to discover online gambling .

Maybe you two didn’t consider that gambling is dangerous just like cigarettes, alcohol and drugs that can be harmful that’s why users should moderated when using it.

There’s no need for gambling education because it’s not natural part of our society while sex is a natural process of human to procreate so there’s a need to educate on sex while gambling is just an expensive form of entertainment.

Encouraging youth to gamble just to boost gambling popularity will just give bad impact to the society because it usually cause harm both financially and emotionally.
