You can actually change that value and see what the max profit would be for different bankroll sizes. For example, if you change it to 37 BTC or 38 BTC (around what MoneyPot currently has) you will see the max profit gets closer to what we have at the moment. Do I think if its too much? That's actually a pretty good question! The short answer is no, because the Kelly criterion allows us to safely do so. In practice the max profit only gets hit when the casino is risking a considerable portion of its bankroll. But when that happens the house edge will increase too (even higher than the competition's 1%). A casino with a fixed house edge can't take that risk, because they don't adjust their house edge to make up for it. Have a look at our maths page, I did my best to explain how we calculate things. That's a very smart strategy indeed, usually players or traders following the Kelly criterion strategy play more money when they have an higher edge on their bet or trade but I had never heard of casinos applying this strategy against players before. It's something you've seen elsewhere or that you've invented yourself? I guess lay bettors at betting exchanges use a similar strategy by lowering odds when they want or need to increase the liability of one lay bet though. |

It's interesting how the martingale strategy chart this guy presented has a peak negative EV on the 10th bet before decreasing. Without getting into the math, I thought the negative EV linearly grew with each bet, apparently that's not the case. Whatever the house edge is, crash implicates a lot of hindsight bias. I still enjoy playing it and I've seen a lot of clones on other places. Roobet has the best UI out of all of them.
How would you explain this decrease and this peak negative EV exactly? It would be surprising. IMO it's just because he made a mistake in his spreadsheet by truncating or rounding values of the Probability of losing column at only 2 digits after the decimal point. It doesn't matter for the first values when it's 51.71% or 26.71% for example. I have enabled a VPN with a Singapore IP address and tried to access the site, but I also had no luck. So, I don't think it's a problem with Cloudflare. It looks like the freebitcoin team has started purposely blocking access to the site only for IP addresses from that region. I don't remember if Singapore was mentioned as a banned jurisdiction in the updated ToS or not, but I can't check it now as I can't find a link to the ToS where it used to be on the main page.

Cela est surtout utile pour dépenser ses fonds. Si c'est uniquement pour recevoir, à la rigueur un PC hors ligne et sans stockage sur un Live USB peut faire l'affaire, à condition de savoir ce que l'on fait; mais les HW wallets permettent aussi de générer des paires de clés de manière sécurisée, rendant cette partie plus simple et plus sûre également.
Quelqu'un sait si la solution PC "sans stockage" est possible avec toutes les config? Y compris PC portable? Il me semble qu'avec certains PCs/cartes mères, si il n'y a aucun disque dur branché ça reste hors tension ou en écran noir sans pouvoir accéder au BIOS/UEFI... I don't understand how you can advise beginners against trading while advising them to invest 10% of their income in Bitcoin by doing DCA or by hodling. You have the same amount of chances to make profit or to lose money by trading or hodling IMO. Because nobody can tell if Bitcoin will continue grow in the coming years or if it will crash. IMO we can't except adoption to grow in the same way as it has done from 2009 to 2021, so you shouldn't make beginners dreaming of millions, it's not serious. |

You can certainly find thousands of bets on Bet365 but you should remind that bets at Freebitcoin are not fixed-odds bets but pool/parimutuel ones. So if there were too many bets available you would have a very low liquidity in each pool and you would only be able to win few satoshis at the end. So offering more bets can attract more players, but offering too many of them can repel players if the liquidity fall too much. |
