I didn't think it could drop this much... and these days I'm wondering if it will drop to 1 sat? Is that even possible? Smiley

13 sats which is its current price is the lowest it has ever been. For the benefits you get as a premium member that is an attractive price for acquiring tokens. Due to the exchange spread, however, users might not be willing to invest in the token. Converting from BTC to FUN and then back to BTC will cost you around 15% of your BTC at current prices. The lower the price goes the more value you lose when exchanging directly on freebitco.in.
Yes you're right, because usually they sell FUN tokens 1 sat above the price. So the more the price is low, the more the margin is relatively high. Currently you can buy them at 14sats which is 7.7% above 13 sats, while it's only 2% when the price is 50sats. So people are maybe less interested to buy them because of that.Freebitcoin could solve this issue by introducing a virtual decimal like what exchanges do for some cryptos though.
723  Economy / Gambling / Re: Empire.io | Free Payouts, VPN-Friendly, No Upfront KYC & 1 BTC bonus! on: October 26, 2023, 09:55:39 PM
The requirement is basically not that hard to complete in order to get the free spins, because players only need to wager 100USDT in slot games.
Of course for those who do not like to play slot will see it as something not worth to play, so I have to agree with your suggestion that they may include other games as well.
They may adjust the minimum wager requirement in order to receive the free spins based on the played games.
Lets say games with lower house edge need to wager 2-3x more than those who play slot in order to receive the free spins.
I agree with you, $100 to wager is not a high amount to reach for a promotion on slots. If they reduce the amount to wager, they would certainly reduce the amount of free spins offered by the promotion too, so it wouldn't become very attractive for most players IMO, while $100 is already a rather small wagering amount for a slot promotion.
724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake casino streamers! Why such streamers are very popular? on: October 25, 2023, 09:29:07 PM
I came across a very interesting article about fake streamers https://www.ltccasino.com/fake-streamers-exposed

Some facts and arguments struck me as very curious. I had never really thought about why nowadays the Twitch and Kick platforms have become so full of people streaming online casinos there.

Having little experience playing at online casinos, I can't be sure that everything written in this article is true. What do you think about it?

It's very interesting to hear the opinion of experienced players and people who are versed in this subject.
There is no gambling streamers on Twitch anymore because Twitch has namely banned several big casinos Stake, Rollbit, Duelbits and Roobet last year, along with Blaze and Gamdom added this summer, and now only allows casinos not namely banned which are not "unlicensed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions that offer consumer protections like deposit limits, waiting periods, and age verification systems."
Nowadays, the only big casino I see on Twitch is BC.GAME and the only gambling streamer I follow is Mandy.

You think these last couple of days have been crazy? It’s nothing compared to what we will see in the coming weeks. The biggest moves occur as RSI pushes into overbought territory on higher timeframes, starting with the weekly.

I passed verification, but I was also not allowed to withdraw funds, I wrote to them by email as they asked, but this is very strange for such a large casino
I agree with you, it's at least very unprofessional, the customer support agents should be able to send themselves this type of request to the dedicated team and not ask the customer to write another email again. They've asked you to complete a top level KYC, requiring highly private and critical documents, without explanations expect a vague suspicion of "ToS breach", and you still need to "send an email" to ask what's going on with your funds.

734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which games offer the best chance of a big win? on: October 22, 2023, 07:47:26 PM
It's definitely slots with progressive network jackpots along with lotteries, especially national ones IMO. Even crash games and common slots don't offer real life changing prizes when you hit their maximum multipliers. Actually if you don't care of winning the prize in one time, you can even win a big prize at Blackjack or Baccarat if you encounter a great winning streak and if you place big stakes.
735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your doubt has no effect on gambling. on: October 22, 2023, 07:45:25 PM
In my book, that factor (doubt) has a huge impact on my betting. Doubt can mess with your game. It's always best to bet when you're confident in your picks because winning then gives you that sweet satisfaction. You can pat yourself on the back and say, 'I'm really good at this.' But when you're unsure and still win, it usually just means you got lucky.

Luck isn't a steady thing; it comes and goes. So, the way I see it, the real deal is to focus on improving your gambling skills. That's the only way to consistently win and keep going in this long battle, especially if you view gambling as a marathon and not just a source of entertainment.
I disagree with you because if you don't possess a really critical information not publicly disclosed, bets whom you're really confident will only have small odds. And as we know betting only on low odds outcomes is a newbie mistake leading to unavoidable losses of your bankroll in the long or medium term And even the short one if you stake big amounts on those bets.
736  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Stake.com on: October 22, 2023, 06:58:57 PM
I can't say much about their endless KYC procedures, but if we may refer to what Kirito89 said [and I believe he knows what he said, given he has similar experience with duckdice], it's actually the third party that has that endless procedures. And I'm saying that not to defend Stake, I was just stating what I think happen.
How they could be unaware of it with the amount of threads talking about this issue here, while they conduct a massive signature campaign and read the posts of their participants in order to assess them? In addition one representative recently said he was monitoring all complaining threads created here and sending them to the dedicated teams. People also complained about similar issues on Ask Gamblers, Casino Guru and Trustpilot. If the third party they pay to manage KYC procedures don't do a good job, they should tell them to change their way of working or they should look for another one if they are not able to handle that on their own. Nonetheless it doesn't prevent them to at least explain to their customers why they are asking all those private documents in order to withdraw their funds, CMIIW but OP didn't tell they mentioned an AML issue.
737  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bustabit problem on: October 22, 2023, 06:35:26 PM
^^
I don't think it's necessary to lock the thread.
I would like to take the chance while it's not locked yet to ask OP how he solved the problem. What kind of information was he requested to provide to prove ownership of the bustabit account?
I think such information can be helpful for other users who may face the same problem.
BTW, I don't think it's wise to share your account's password with customer support agent.
I agree with you, sadly it's usual on forums to see people coming to ask help and when they manage to solve their problems they disappear without explaining to other users how they've been able to do it. This is not a constructive approach because people undergoing the same issue can't find informations and dishonest casinos can then continue to use scammy schemes in order to steal money from customers. The right move is to explain how the issue has been solved and to add a tag [SOLVED] to the title of the thread.
738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No scam sportsbooks on: October 22, 2023, 05:58:43 PM
Guys, he is looking for bookmakers.
Stake has a terrible sportsbook with even worse odds, total waste of time.

On most other bookies you get at least 10% better odds than stake. Even sportsbet.io has better odd, even though they are using the same odds provider. Shows you how greedy stake is.
I shared this some days ago. At basketball odds are bad but not as bad as on for example volleyball or tennis.
Still pinnacle is much better.

The best odds you will always get at pinnacle or betfair. Betfair surely is great but since it's a betting exchange this might have a huge impact on limits. If nobody is offering odds then there is nothing to bet on of course.

Pinnacle on the other hand has the best odds online in my opinion. Sure the live betting is not as big and fancy as bet365 but if you don't care about live this is the site you want to use.
They also offer crypto deposits and withdrawals now, the money in the account though is always converted into a chosen currency.
Could you point out the post where you've made this comparison please I didn't see it? It's very interesting to be aware of this, because you will hardly make profits if odds are lower than elsewhere. RTPs of sport bets are usually lower than casino games and slots, so if the ones of this bookmaker are even lower than other ones, bettors will have to be very talented or lucky to not lose money there, without even talking about usual withdrawal issues.
Betting exchanges are usually safe you're right but unfortunately the one you mention doesn't accept cryptos afaik, some of them are listed in this thread though https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5415332
739  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Stake.com on: October 22, 2023, 04:42:53 PM
You do aware that what I do here is simply pointing out that your statement, that the documents they requested don't appear anywhere on the ToS agreed by the customer, is not correct?

Whether they have the right to do it or not, I'll say I'm not an expert on this, but the customers kinda agreed to it. If I remember correctly, there are cases in the past where other platforms who also require SoW from their customers. As for why they asked such high level of KYC for small amount, I've give my assumption here. Sadly, with Stake's representative being absent from this thread, best we can do is assume.
Ok dude, I better understand what you mean now. But weirdly we've seen several other cases of customers from this casino being required such endless KYC procedures without having made any quick deposits and withdrawals. And fortunately we've never heard of exchanges or custodial services doing such things to their customers, how could we use exchanges if we were unable to safely deposit and withdraw our funds when we want?
Look what a random honest and professional service do when it suspects someone of AML, it just sends a mail like that along with the remaining funds, closes the account and that's all.

Hello
Does anyone else have an issue with the new version (8+) of Trust wallet when using dApps ?
When I connect to some dApps the first screen to approve the connexion pops up as usual but then when I am using the dApps I don't receive any prompts to confirm any transaction anymore. When I check in the WaletConnect section I see the dApps are connected to my wallet, but I don't receive anything from them whatever I do expect the connection confirmation when I try to connect them. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? I specify that right before the upgrade of the wallet everything was working fine.
