how about devs just come out and say they messed up and put cap on the coin

we need investors and whales who can sustain the supply of 700m being mined each day

if not this coin is going back down to 50 satoshi and staying there for months which will kill all the hype the coin has (its already dying just due to this crash)

we need a higher price right now to attract more people not crush the price right in its infancy

some post have mention the necessity of implement a better client than NXT. I agree with that claim; however I should admit that for me, NxtMac (0.21) works very well. If you guys can implement some application that allow you to open your account without using the browser and with very few steps required to get it active (multibit in the BTC ecosystem is great), then you will have a tremendous potential. We also need publicity.
 

Agree with you 100%! We need a better client, and that should be our first objective before anything else (of course after the blockchain ).

I will gladly donate some of my NEM's to 4 people I know, hopefully many other stakeholders do that also!

Nxt wallet is indeed very tough to download, I hope NEM will make a more user friendly, easier to install wallet. with NEMS already great distribution it can then easily rival or perhaps surpass nxt .

If 3000-4000 Nem stake holders each recruit 4 new members in a month by giving some of there coins and those new members in turn do the same the growth of Nem will be enormous within a year.

While saving energy and being eco-friendly is a strong argument in Nxt's favor, let's not forget that even more importantly Nxt gives people economic freedom.  This is the most important freedom of all.  You can give people every other freedom in the world, but without economic freedom it means nothing.  They are still slaves to the "debt as money" usury capitalists.

Bitcoin is broken because the security of the network can be forcibly compromised by third-parties.  Nxt's security does not have this issue.  A third-party would have to hold over 90% of all the currency to destroy Nxt.  To destroy Bitcoin, a third-party would only have to have over 51% of the network processing power.  Any entity can purchase tons of ASICs and destroy Bitcoin.

I called this coin a scam on the 24th after stating my position. Unfortunately most of the people who were scammed probably understood that it was most likely a scam, but couldnt afford the very small chance of missing out if in fact it wasn't (like NXT).
The fact that LeoC hasn't come back here and apologized for helping levelCoin scam a bunch of people is disgusting.
When we get his IP info we can cross reference that with the WHOIS data from the registrar. If it is indeed the same city/country then we know who our man is and charges can be pressed.

Post + conditions (change every 10 pages) such as paying designated fee or promoting NEM in someway. Your post + proof of satisfying conditions means you have reserved a stake spot.

Quick update: the stakeholder list is updated to the end of page 90- registration thread 1. So if you just reserved your spot in the second registration thread, then your account has not been added to the list.

But here is the interesting thing: the google doc stakeholder list I made is not the original stakeholder list; the original stakeholder list is the registration thread itself. Anyone can do the due diligence and re-create the stakeholder list from the registration thread according of the pre-defined rules. The google doc list I am making has to be validated by the registration thread which is the our only social contracts to stakeholders.

So if you have your post and payment in a certain position in the registration thread, then that would be the only proof you need to be added in the list if I somehow miss it in the first try. The google doc ist would be rechecked against the registration thread once more when the fundraising is over to make sure there is no discrepancy and mistake.

Right. The entire system and its content should be encrypted by default, with no unencrypted data, period. It should be impossible to know where any data is stored, and ideally, data is distributed in partially redundant encrypted pieces across servers.
