I hope that Dev team reconfigures the having and block reward. So mining time from halving to halving last much longer so coin is mineable for years and change the block reward from 800 down to 400.
I just have a gut feeling that multi is still on it.
What do you guys think? I certainly agree with something like that and made a similar post a couple days ago. Troll was also talking about changing things in some way but they're probably still discussing that stuff as well as what % the PoS will eventually be. I'd like to see a hybrid PoW/PoS coin. |

Is it not too early? Who will buy this coin, if there are so few miners? First, there should be greater interest in it... You will ruin the price right now. Does anyone know for a fact this was bcx? I have never known him to not take proven credit in these forums for anything he does. Just because someone claims they are him in the troll box does not make it so. Just an observation. Was thinking the same thing as I didn't see any proof that it was him. Seemed like everyone just assumed it was. |

Someone claiming to bcx said it was dropping in 3 minutes and it did. Impressive to say the least because I would assume Poloniex would have kickass ddos mitigation. It does not seems to be DDoS, chat is working fine... Something is fishy here... Chat could be via a different server. Yes, but i am starting to think this whole XMR scandal was to attack Polo and steal coins... That smell of Gox... Good point as I'm sure lots of people that might not have been trading have moved their coins there. Until this happened, I really didn't know that Poloniex was like the main exchange for XMR. |

So XST unlike cloak has open source anonymous technology ? It has devs who are known ? Hmm I smell pumping. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. As far as I know, XST only has anon for their StealthText part and that's the only thing Dan Metcalf "audited". Of course all the shills, sockpuppets, hype masters etc try and make everyone believe Dan blessed the coin in it's entirety. While interesting, StealthText requires you to actually install 3 other programs as well to get it to work. StealthSend is still vapor ware. At this point I'd also be a little concerned due to the whole Monero might have an exploit thing. From reading the XST white paper, it seems to me it's basically doing anon like CN coins but changing to Chandran signature (which may have their own issues). IF BCX is to be believed, it's not the tech itself in CN that has the flaw, it's how it's implemented. Thus XST could also suffer from the same issue. I also don't like the way the whitepaper gives an example to make itself appear superior to CN due to a reduction in block size but fails to mention how it could actually be bigger with only a handful of signatures. But at this point it's all a wait and see thing. And yeah. Multiple P&D groups all over XST and LXC so they are both risky at this point as you have to guess at their exit points and get out before they do. The coin was around this level before and got dumped and then was manipulated to hold at around 9k for quite some time. It's been allowed to rise now but is being controlled to slow it down. My feeling is that it will get dumped around 15k and then allowed to build again for the next "news" which is supposed to be StealthSend I think. |

Actually, while I'm on the topic, the final wallet design will probably look more similar to Multibit than what I'm showing here, only when you create your wallet you have the option to create it as a "savings/staking" wallet where the funds cannot be spent directly but must first be moved into an active "spending" wallet. More similar to a bank account. I'll just post this here for you to think about (and hopefully "inspire" you) while you're coding it. Cause really, multibit is pretty lame and is reminiscent of programs I wrote 20 years ago lol  |

What sort of PoS does this coin use? The same as Peercoin? NXT? Blackcoins PoS V2, something like Reddcoins PoSV or something new and unique?

NXT is the most established PoS crypto? hmm. Thought that would actually be Peercoin. Or? hmmm.. Weren't there a few PoS coins before NXT actually came about? Peercoin is a PoW/PoS combined mechanism and uses a completely different PoS algo called 'coin-age', which supposedly has this Nothing-at-stake issue that bitcoiners refer to. NXT is the first 100% PoS crypto, PoS is different from Peercoin's PoS. Then other PoS, including hybrids like PoI/PoA/etc came along. Yes, I know. But the fact is, Peercoin was the first PoS coin even though it's a hybrid. I'm still undecided about what PoS method is "best" at this point though. Peercoin uses the coin age which really promotes hoarding. NXT has the rich get richer (which I find hilarious given how anti establishment crypto is supposed to be). BC has their new PoS v2 but am still unclear how it stakes but it seems like it's similar to NXT. And now there's Reddcoins PoSV which seems to try and balance the various PoS issues. |

The one I have that's a bit different is PandaCoin. Has more of a "bank account" type feel to it the way they list all your addresses, you can do quick transfers and stuff. You should check it out. Trying to get it functional first, then I'll make it look nice. Keep in mind, this is a completely from scratch component that does not originate from the current codebase and does not depend on QT. This was really to show that I am still working, even though I've been a bit more scarce than usual around here. I hear ya. But really, you need to figure out features before coding or you'll end up rewriting. Something I just realized about the PandaCoin "bank" as they call it. I think there's actually only 1 wallet but you can store multiple addresses in it which is pretty nice. |

Monero is f'cked
The price dropped fast. I expect a small rally from the day traders, but then another fall, unless this whole exploit fuss fizzles out. It was time for XMR to drop anyway. Needs to follow it's monthly cycle so whoever is manipulating the price gets their monthly 30%+ return. |

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Qora 'community' looks upon Qora as a backup of NXT, that's why there are no meaningful efforts to make it popular or expand the network of nodes, etc. Basically, if Qora investors already have invested in NXT, why would they kill their own investment and develop a competing coin which by the way doesn't offer any new features (different GUI is not a new feature)? Their line of thinking is: should NXT fail for some reason, they will have Qora software and their coins in it to replace the failed NXT. It's not like there is a large inflow of new investors to PoS cryptos and most of them buy some NXT first as the most established PoS crypto. Same goes for NEM/NODE/Crypti. NXT is the most established PoS crypto? hmm. Thought that would actually be Peercoin. Or? hmmm.. Weren't there a few PoS coins before NXT actually came about? |

well I got a response from bittrex and they say they cant control the bots and that was about it lol . So all we can is hold and wait for greedy bot to fill up and hold. Also if the price goes up the bot would not to be able to stop price rising but would still be doing it thing lol . People hold the coins you are loosing big time wait and see lol Didn't you post earlier saying that they were implementing some limits to try and combat them? If he gets offered 100 BTC and still does not reveal it, then there are two options. Either there is no exploit, or he stands to gain a lot by the price falling.
BCX is a very sneaky character, so should not take what he says at face value. The reality is that if there is no attack, we'll never know the truth of what happened since it's clear there's a ton of talks going on in the background. |

Have about 46k cloak. Looking for another 14k. Anyone want to sell at 00015 14k? Outside the exchange? I have a feeling that you just need to wait and will be able to pick those up on an exchange. A month ago I said this It's in turmoil right now. I've felt for awhile now that the "true" price is around 30k, but with the dump to 15k I'm personally waiting for a week or two to see where things settle out once Alty is back and things start moving forward again. At this point, I'm starting to think the coin will see 10k soonish. |
