^  It wasn't such a waste for him at all tho.  He was being paid 600k a week and while golfing and keeping that Real Madrid bench warm.  Cheesy
He wasn't even keeping the bench warm half the time. I'm sure the money softens the blow of not playing but he obviously wants to play and is wasted at Real especially when he doesn't even make the squad.
I am not so sure that it is obvious that he wants to play. To me it seems more like it that money matters to him more than playing top football. If he wanted to play top football and earn decent money, he would have left years ago. Granted he would lose a couple of millions in the way since nobody would match what Real paid him. This way he milked his contract in Real to the maximum while playing golf and not caring too much. Now when his contract is coming near the end he decided it is time to play a bit so he can get solid next contract as well.

Nothing wrong with that, contract is obligatory after all and nobody forced Real to sign it. I could be very wrong about his motives, it is just the picture I have of Bale from what media wrote about him and we all know that media just wants to sell their product and get more hits.

Don't believe the way media spins things. They're trying to sell papers and views by outraging the general public that a player is being paid millions whilst he's off golfing. This was probably exaggerated, but if Real aren't even including him in the squad I can't even blame him for doing something else. And he couldn't leave when he's contracted to stay and Real blocked at least one move that I know of. It was seemingly Real Madrid that wanted to try recoup the money they'd spent on him and wanted a ludicrous fee which was always stifling his exit, but regardless of that, would you leave your job to go to another company for probably 50% less pay? Because that's probably the only way he could have left because nobody is going to match the silly wages Real offered him. If I was him I would have kept golfing, collected my wage then go wherever I want when the contract is up. I'm surprised Spurs paid as much as they did for the loan because it's a ridiculous amount just for a year. They could have just waited a year or two and got him for free but Jose probably doesn't have the long to wait before he's out the door if he doesn't get results.
1022  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Wirex- Bitcoin Debit Card | Buy Bitcoin | Mobile Banking | Send Money on: September 24, 2020, 02:13:27 PM
I'm getting bombarded with messages from Wirex about their new crypto crowdfunding platform or whatever that is and then when I finally managed to open the last email I've seen they are trying to do anything to grab your money. Invest in the token, invest in the company, invest in FinTech..
I'm starting to wonder if they actually authorized to conduct all this kind of stuff?

They do claim some real volume growth in revenues over the last year, I don't think they re lying about that but this race for cash is triggering the wrong vibe, I even turned off notifications from their app as I was getting one or two a day.

Anyone registered for this new "project" of theirs? Or planning on "investing"?

Yeah, I got one. Looks like they're just crowdfunding. It's probably not worth it unless you think there's potential for the company to grow which is getting increasingly more difficult as there's far too much competition and much better sites with far cheaper fees. The debit card was a big plus back in the day but now lots of companies are offering them with much better rates. I'm surprised people still use wirex to be honest. Haven't used it in years but the fees were bad back then and they're seemingly much worse now.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 24, 2020, 01:16:51 PM
As I said before Son can play anywhere. Either them all up front or Kane up there with Bale and Son as wingers is going to be pretty effective... this is all assuming Bale even plays and isn't out half the season on and off from injuries.

In theory, he can. But the last time he played on the right wing was in 2015/16 season. He's playing either on the left or as a second striker and switching him would probably be a mistake.
Son and Kane are Tottenham's 2 best players and I really feel they will continue being picked in their best positions. That leaves Bale either on the right wing or on the bench, the first one is problematic for Tottenham because you have both wings cutting in and playing narrow and you rely too much on full-backs to provide width.

I just meant to say that personally, the Bale deal looks way better on paper than in real life. What will they do with Bergwijn if Bale plays on the right? They bought him for a lot of money last year, it would not be smart for Tottenham to leave him without gametime.

I understand - they could get Bale so they did it. Something tells me it would have been smarter to pass.

I highly doubt they're going to bench Bale. What would be the point in moving from Madrid if that was the case. The issue was that he wasn't playing. I'm sure he's got some reassurances from Spurs that he will actually be playing if he's fit. I doubt they's miss Lucas Moura either but I think Bale is going to feature prominently in the team when he's fit. Not much point in him being there otherwise.

Will be good to see Bale playing regularly, he’s a great player. It’s such a waste for him to be on the bench all the time. I do wish he stayed on the bench in the CL Final in Kiev though, well either that or Karius wasn’t born  Undecided

In all seriousness though it’ll be great to see him back in the PL.

Easily one of the best goals in the Champion's League ever, and probably the best CL final game. Much better than Ronaldo's. Salah didn't deserve the Puska's that year.

^  It wasn't such a waste for him at all tho.  He was being paid 600k a week and while golfing and keeping that Real Madrid bench warm.  Cheesy

1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: September 24, 2020, 11:56:11 AM
Yes it will happen, it could have happened a long time ago but Fury made it clear he wants fans inside the arena because it adds to the atmosphere and his promoter said they had record gate receipts for Fury-Wilder II making it having the highest grossing gate receipts in history for a boxing match. His promoter went on to say that a fight without multi-millions of USD$ from gate receipts cannot go ahead. Fury-Wilder II had a 16,800 sell out audience.

Adds to the atmosphere... and their wallets. I'm sure the crowd is nice to have, but even in the interview posted above Fury's promoter said it could go ahead in a venue without fans if a country wanted to pay a lot to bring it to their nation... basically if Arabs will pay us millions for it we're open to offers for having it in an empty arena Grin. I'm sure there are countries with differing covid restrictions as well that will allow fans. They're probably going to have to get this fight done sooner rather than later as it's a hurdle to bigger and better things and the real money is in the AJ fights but they can't do them until this rematch is out of the way unless Wilder steps down which I doubt he will.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 24, 2020, 11:34:55 AM
Why wouldn't they just play him upfront with Kane and Son? Those three would probably be up there with the best strike force in the league.

They can, yeah - by using Bale on the right wing. He played most of his Real games there but that's opening a lot of questions again.
As Trofo noted, with them 3 upfront and offensive full-backs, it will probably be an overkill. Especially because Spurs are really weak in midfield.

It can work if Bale and Son will play as wingers cutting inside while the full-backs are providing width - but they will really suffer defensively if they try that.

As I said before Son can play anywhere. Either them all up front or Kane up there with Bale and Son as wingers is going to be pretty effective... this is all assuming Bale even plays and isn't out half the season on and off from injuries.

BTW, still looking to confirm who PLsbr is. He's put his scores in for the next round so maybe he hasn't seen the PM yet.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: September 23, 2020, 06:14:24 PM
Tyson Fury was on British television this morning speaking openly about mental health as well as trying to keep focused and keep physically fit while waiting for the fight to take place. He made it clear he would not want to fight unless fans were present.

His promoter (Frank Warren) was also live in the same interview and he said the Fury-Wilder II fight had the largest gate receipts in the history of boxing and he said they need fans present in the stadium or arena otherwise the fight simply could not go ahead.

It could go ahead but they're just being greedy and want to maximise profits. Eddie Hearn's Matchroom boxing has been doing fights as has the UFC so they can go ahead even with the high profile fights. As for gate receipts any big boxing fight like this will sell out an arena but they're always limited in capacity whilst pay per views aren't and the next fight will almost certainly do better than the previous ones and then there's all the people who would have gone to the fight who will also be buying it. I'm sure it would be even more expensive as well and at least they have an excuse to justify that. They should do this fight asap and get it out of the way ready for the AJ/Fury fights next year which could be two years away if they have the third fight and any potential rematches or mandatory fights all three parties have to do.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 23, 2020, 12:12:42 PM

What I'm really hoping is that they don't tire the way Klopp's heavy metal 2016/17 did towards the end. He's much more pragmatic the last two seasons, which is bad for entertainment but long-term, better for the team. Bielsa's tactics in training are apparently just as demanding on fitness so I'd prefer them not to fade the way they did in Championship 18/19, they've got to find a balance -- but yes, certainly they should still be crazy enough to run City ragged and I hope they do (already got a 12/1 bet on them to win haha, remember Norwich?).

Yeah, people have speculated why that happens but I would think it makes more sense to get tired out towards the end of the game rather than a season. Bielsa seems to be big on fitness so I'm sure they will improve other time anyway but being in the PL is a big step up from the Championship which could be a shock to the system. I'd be very surprised if they can keep up their current form throughout out the season though.

I wonder where will Bale play - has anybody given any thought about that?
When you hear Bale - you instantly think of a top player instead of a lazy and uninterested guy that will probably have to work really hard to regain his fitness and form.

Spurs have a fluid attack full of confidence, bring Bale into it and I feel it just might be the case of having more problems than before. Will he remove Son from the team? Well, no way. Who then? And he won't be happy sitting on the bench, that's for sure.

Why wouldn't they just play him upfront with Kane and Son? Those three would probably be up there with the best strike force in the league.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 23, 2020, 09:47:34 AM
Just read that this Week 2 was the leagues record of goals (44). Record's been at 43 since 2011 (thank Newcastle's fighback from 4-0 down at HT, classic Arsenal haha). So Jesus's goal really was special heh.

@toke. Double chance? If Brighton odds are bigger than 10 I'm taking it =D Might even take them anyway just for the misery pile on. United have a League Cup game tonight and while tempting on the odds, I know they'll take out their frustrations on lower league opponents haha.

@LFC: Nice way to end your weekend with 4.5 points! I'm just glad to be above the halfway line so far;)

There was an unusual amount of goals this round but didn't know it was a record breaking one. I think we'll probably see some huge-scoring games this seasons especially when some of the big teams come up against the relegation favourites. Both Leeds and Leicester have scored the most goals at seven a piece and they're playing each other next month so that could be a goal fest. Leeds are also playing City at home on the third and I think that will be an interesting watch. If Leeds can hold their own and play like they did against Liverpool I think they could go far this season as those two teams are the big testers. Hopefully their performances weren't just a fluke and they don't get pummelled by City which I could see happening.

Finally I got a correct score on the City 3-1 win! Narrowly missed out on the 0-0 Villa game but they had to go and score to make it 1-0.

I am proudly standing in the last place after predicting about 7 draws this week.I know I am an amateur at this but whar does the spoon near my name says?Does it mean I am a dumb player?I guess so but just wanted to make sure 😜.

It's a wooden spoon: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wooden_spoon#Sporting_culture

Quote
Sporting culture

In some regions, particularly British-influenced ones of the Commonwealth and the United States, the "wooden spoon" is a booby prize for the team or individual finishing a competition in last position.

It means you did the worse that week and hence you win a joke prize. It's the opposite of a yellow hat for the best. Superbru actually sell them:

I think I won a couple last year but also grabbed a couple of yellow caps.

Congrats to fortebet who's this week yellow cap and free bet winner. Please PM sportsbet to claim.

I had City to win 2:1, as many others, so I wasn't very happy after late Jesus goal. It was good game and Wolves were close to equalise score.
Congrats to @fortebet for getting yellow cap. Well deserved!
Question to @hilariousandco. Will we have Champions league pool this year? If yes, then probably it would be good to start things soon - group stage will begin on October 20th, so, less than month left.

Yeah. Will start it soon. Thanks for the reminder.

Well I'm up for trying it but to be honest I think that board would be pretty dead without all the blogspam so it might as well be locked/archived. How many threads are on the first page or two that are from notable sources? I just checked the first ten threads on there and all but two were from crypto-based sites and the other ones were not from sites I'd call notable sources.

Isn't that the point... if you remove the spam then more threads on the front page will be from notable sources.

Locking the board would be giving in to spammers.

Not really. The board has served its purpose long ago. It was created when any press article was exciting or indeed notable. Now nobody gives a shit what the mainstream media has to say. Any decent article can be posted in the main board if its worthy of discussion. Besides, there are plenty of measures that have been implemented because of spammers: Activity, merit, signature restrictions, PM restrictions, certain boards not counting towards activity/post count, newbies can't post images etc so if this is 'caving in' then so are all those.
1031  Other / Meta / Re: Appeal the ban "CoinIdol News" account on: September 21, 2020, 01:27:26 PM
You don't have to post a personal opinion. That's not the forum rules just a user suggestion as a way to appear less spammy than just mass hit and runs but it still shouldn't matter. The current rule of the Press board is that it's for notable press mentions. CoinIdol isn't 'notable' in my opinion. Mods usually only go on what is reported so if someone reports your posts then they're likely to be acted upon. If you want clarification you should contact theymos but personally I think that board should be locked now as it's served its purpose or at the very least we should state that crypto based news outlets don't fall under the definition of notable and are therefore not allowed.

I think we should try both before we give up on the board entirely:

I think it would help if the rules were clearer.  I propose the following additions to the current rules:

    1.  Official news agencies only.  No blogs.  No "cryptomedia" sites.

    2.  Don't just post the article.  Include some of your own thoughts and insights about the article and/or the impact the news will have.  This will minimise the potential for low-quality posters to abuse it.

Notability and copy/paste are both problems in their own right.  I don't see how we can ignore one and not the other.

Smaller media sites have an obvious interest in generating traffic for themselves, so we need the notability criteria to combat that.

Forum users who can simply copy and paste some text and attribute a source so it's not classed as plagiarism have an easy exploit to make posts with basically zero effort.  We then end up with abandoned topics where no one actually has any interest in talking about the news, because no one even attempted to start a discussion.

1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 21, 2020, 01:17:15 PM
Game has been pretty boring and they've cancelled each other out.

Yeah, and after the red card, even I was quite surprised to see Chelsea form 2 lines of defence in their own half, allowing Thiago and Liverpool to just play exhibition football after that. You play that when you're 1-0 ahead against better opponents but when you got speed down the flanks you ought to at least try running at the fragile wingbacks.

In fact, I was worried they were trying to tire our press in the first half -- and thankfully Alisson got that penalty save...

Wolves tonight barely 7/1. Not such value for me, and they lost Jota...

It was a silly sending off. I don't know why they risk these sorts of tactical fouls. Mane would have probably missed but even if he had scored it would be better to play a goal down than a man down. Had they had played the full game with 11 men I think it would have been much closer.

Wolves tonight barely 7/1. Not such value for me, and they lost Jota...
Not even bookies are that brave to offer much higher odds when you take into account that Wolves won last 3 games against City. This is not coincidence and it is blatant that Wolves style of play is doing big problems to City. I was thinking on putting some money on Wolves but then I am thinking City is way too good team to lose 4 times in a row against any opponent. Will probably skip the game in the end.

They also lost Doherty which is for me even bigger loss than Jota.
I also noticed this bad record of City against Wolves in the recent time but this is what I got in the pool.

I am not sure if I will change this pick at the last minute but the two inspirations for this crazy pick LOL

1. Too many goals in this round from the teams
2. A team like City can not lose several times in a raw against a team who are not near to their strength.

I want goals from this match, lots of goals 😜

Go for it. Anything can happen here and you'll be kicking yourself if you change it and it comes in. I'm still undecided on what to go for personally. I'll probably wait for the line ups but I'm not sure Wolves have it in them to beat them again.
1033  Other / Meta / Re: Appeal the ban "CoinIdol News" account on: September 21, 2020, 08:44:18 AM
Still looks like a double standard.

I see post with no "personal opinion" from the author in the Press section just a copy from the lead of the original publication. And you leave it. But you hunt on me Huh and my personal years old replies.

Pogba being known as a world class player is a myth. When was the last time he put in top class performances, consistently over a significant period of time? He was good for France when they won the World Cup but he’s been bang average for Man Utd, arguably since he joined them.

He hasn’t kicked on & repeated his Juve form as a young player. He’s more interested in posting on instagram to display his wealth & dyeing his hair stupid colours.
Pogba is a joke. He is talented but to say he is in top-class players. I am sorry he does not.

Pogba is over-priced and he is too selfish to play for his teammates. The time when Pogba played well is in Juventus but when he got very good supports from midfielder around him. Pirlo is one of them. Pogba is not a sort of key player that can carry a team.

United are a bit of a joke right now. Pogba is good but he's not reaching his potential and I'm not sure he will with United. I'm sure Pogba will leave as soon as he can. It will be interesting to see what happens with him and France in the next Euros and if they can win it again.

If Liverpool can win the first 5 matches in a row, the league is over I think.

Lol come on. Seasons aren't won within the first 5 games. What if they go on to lose the next 5? It's far too early to be saying who is going to win the league and Man City haven't even played their second game yet. Liverpool aren't playing City until November either and it's those sorts of games where either team needs to take points away from each other if they want to challenge for the title.

Aston Villa's big summer spend looks to have been effective - they are in 12th, with 2 games in hand on the teams in the relegation zone... a big improvement on last season.
If they can just find a way to keep getting games postponed instead of playing them, they're all set for a mid-table position.
They may have played 0, but they've also lost 0 and don't have a negative goal difference...

 Grin

I think that game could be a boring 0-0 draw and if so they will still have the same goal difference  Grin.
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 21, 2020, 08:24:42 AM
Terrible start for me so far. Only two places away from the bottom  Grin.

Wish us two more exciting games at the end of the second round Cool
I have a feeling these remaining 2 games will have much less goals in them. Wolves will be defensive against City as usual and I woul not be surprised if Villa and Sheffiled played some boring draw like 0:0.

It's hard to say. An interesting point to make is that Wolves beat Man City both home and away last season. 3-2 home and 2-0 away. The question is can Wolves repeat that or will they blitz them. Gonna have to think whether I go for the comfortable City win or maybe something like a low scoring draw. I'm not sure Wolves will repeat their past performances again but you never know. They beat Sheff United away last week so they could continue their form and take advantage of the home fixture. It's the game I'll be watching anyway. Got a feeling the Villa Sheffield game is going to be boring.
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 20, 2020, 04:30:32 PM
Changed my score from 1-1 to 2-2 before the game but regretting it now. Game has been pretty boring and they've cancelled each other out. It's nil nil at half time but Chelsea just had a player sent off right before the break so I think Liverpool will probably nick it now. I'm predicting 1 or 2 -0 to them.

Edit: Mane just scored. 1-0. Great goal and header as well.

Gone for the home win on the last game at Leicester.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 20, 2020, 12:56:09 PM
Sooo...  Once Gareth Bale is back what's gonna happen to Son?  He's playing do well rn and I think he'll continue to do so if given more minutes by Mou.

I guess he'll be playing right flank?

I dunno what he'll do but I doubt they'll bench him. He's just scored four goals in the Southampton game. Didn't expect this from Spurs. Son seems to be quite diverse in where he can play so I'm sure they can move him elsewhere to accommodate Bale:

Quote
Son is known for his ability to use both feet equally well, and his powerful and accurate shooting. He often plays as a second striker but he can also play as a winger, striker and attacking midfielder; he has even been deployed as a wing-back on occasion. Son has confirmed this, saying, "I don't care where I play. The main thing is I'm in the game. I can play as a second striker or behind. Whatever the coach says, I'll do. I don't have a favorite position. I'll be anywhere and always on the throttle."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Son_Heung-min

Seems he can play with both feet as well:

Son's 20 goals this season:

Quote
Scored 5 at home with his left foot
Scored 5 at home with his right foot
Scored 5 away with his left foot
Scored 5 away with his right foot

https://www.sportbible.com/football/reactions-take-a-bow-news-son-heung-mins-goalscoring-record-proves-he-hasnt-got-a-weak-foot-20190420

Maybe put Bale and Kane up front and Son behind them or on the wing. He's never struck me as being an out and out striker anyway. Could bench Lucas Moura also.

man, superbru didn't save my Saints - Spurs pick, ffs! i was sure i submitted 1 - 1 and it saved :/ guess i'll get a default pick, prolly a Spurs win?

I'm not sure how they pick them. It might have something to do with who picks the outcome the most which would be Spurs in this case.

Quote
If a player has not submitted picks for a particular game or round he/she may qualify for default picks depending on the allocation of defaults for the tournament. A default pick is not an automatic point - it is only awarded if the default team wins. We use the default pick system because we don't want people who miss a game or two to feel like they've fallen behind and that there's not much point in continuing. We think the default safety net is reasonable, especially because it's tightly controlled by a limited number of defaults being available for each tournament. Long-term defaulting gets you nowhere and regular defaulters will quickly fall down the rankings.

https://superbru.reamaze.com/kb/picks/why-do-you-award-points-if-a-player-does-not-make-their-picks

Not sure what to go for on the Spurs game today. Tempted on the draw but Spurs should be able to take them but I've no confidence in them.
almost HT and home team looked really sharp when attacking, well-deserved 1-0 lead...but Spurs weren't too bad, Kane got 2 goals disallowed, but it looks like their whole gameplan is long balls and counter attacks, no build up plays, no ball possesion, reminds of Mou's man united with Lukaku as striker
edit* and as soon as i post this, Son scores from a counter attack  Roll Eyes 1-1

Spurs are in the lead now with 30 minutes to go. Not watching it so can't comment on the game but I went for the 0-0 so all I can get is a point from the draw now.

Here are 2 out of my 4 tickets for today, avoiding Man Utd on purpose, something feels a bit wrong about this match for me.

Good call. I backed them to win but I should have avoided them now in retrospect.

Wtf is going on at the Everton vs WBA match?  I'm not watching the game but it seems like there's a few LOL_Ancelloti moments in there.

There was a lol moment with Bilic when he got sent off.

New season but it's old shitty Manchester United. Lost on their home ground lol. This defender Maguire cost them 83million lol. How they bought it? Because of English Media hype.

Thank god didn't put any money on them.

I had no idea they paid that much for him. He's bang average in my opinion. I also have no idea how he became their captain but that just goes to show you what sort of team they are these days.

For unknown reasons there are targeted criticism at Maguire, is it his cost as a defender? or pure hatred vibes?
The entire Manchester united team were total shambles from start to finish. Fosu-mensah was no where to be found for the first goal, while Shaw left his marker with over 4 yards of space; meanwhile Lindelof was guilty for all 3 goals, for the first and third goal, he was bungled out of a tackle he should have won two times, and got unfortunate with a ball to hand situation.

I just don't think he's that good, but Man U aren't great right now either. He didn't even make the current England squad which says a lot.

New season but it's old shitty Manchester United. Lost on their home ground lol. This defender Maguire cost them 83million lol. How they bought it? Because of English Media hype.

Thank god didn't put any money on them.

Nothing will change until they get a proper manager in with a track record of being successful, winning trophies. How the hell Solksjaer got the job, I don’t know. He is nowhere near qualified enough to get that position. Man Utd won’t be getting anywhere near the title for a good few years.

It doesn't matter what manager they have; it's the shitty team. They've already had managers who won stuff but they just sack them as soon as they lose a few games.

I hate these seasons when the market is still open during the League.

The transfer market? It's always open at the start of the season as far as I'm aware. Personally I think it should close before the league starts. Teams shouldn't be having new players come in during it in my opinion.

Is Bale already playing today for the Spurs? Transfer was only confirmed yesterday, so I doubt that he'll be on the pitch today already. Probably some Covid-tests have to be taken first?! But even without Bale, I see Tottenham as the favourites in todays match.

No. He's already out for a month with an injiury:

This guy seems to always either be injured or on the bench. I wonder if Spurs are regretting this signing already. 12 million for a year is a huge sum. Would only make sense if they manage to get him for free when his Real contract expires.

Not sure what to go for on the Spurs game today. Tempted on the draw but Spurs should be able to take them but I've no confidence in them.

It’s really tough but the first week means nothing. The leaderboard only really starts to take shape after maybe 10 games for each team.
Oh, I certainly hope so, but at the same time I have a strong feeling that people who are currently in the top will remain in the top. We moved down on the leaderboard based on yesterday's matches, and my hope for this round is lost. But I've just made the picks for round 3, and it seems to me that there are some matches where at least the outcome is not that hard to predict. That is, if you don't count Sheffield United vs Leeds United because Leeds did unexpectedly well against Liverpool, showing that this team is not to be underestimated.

I doubt it. The table will probably look completely different to what it is now. Every user has good and bad weeks and sometimes you can hit streaks of both. It's not uncommon to get next to zero points in some rounds but you can still do pretty well. I started off well last season, then spent a lot of it mid table, finally managed to get myself into a top 5 spot then lost it on the final round to finish eight. Just do your best and don't worry too much about what others are doing.

United are so frustrating they couldn't even give me the full 3 points with my 2-1 pick, they just had to go and let Zaha score again huh? And didn't they want to buy him from Palace this season? Anyway, I'm surprised not more people picked Palace, United were supposedly awful in preseason. I didn't watch the match though but stats say more attempts came from London team.

United were terrible. Really didn't think they would have trouble getting the win here. I'm think Ollie will be the odds on the first to go, though I don't think he's to blame.
