Everyone here is screaming the end of the world when talking about this situation but with Bitcoin instead, when all the Bitcoins are mined out don't you think they would of already prepared the network to reward the miners with transaction fees, many people are sending Bitcoins every day so I couldn't see it dying if that gameplan came into play.
There is no reason why other coins can't do the same when they are all mined out.
There is one, and it is the most important one. The price. 1 bitcoin is worth around 750$, how about Ixcoin ? maybe in 15 years bitcoin will be worth 2000$, at this point the TXs will be far enough to pay for the miners, it will be up to them to regulate the diff. |

That's right. So, basically, if iXcoin dies then Bitcoin is already dead. Just something to think about.  Maybe the death of bitcoin will result in the rise of Altcoins, it may not be such a bad news,or they will change it to a non mining blockchain, like a proof of transaction using fractions of the nodes power to do the job instead of mining. It may also be a solution for this coin, but id depends on its acceptance. Or as everyone here is saying, why not switching to POS or to merge mine with some sister coins, or maybe a "merged mining conglomerate" it would be very insteresting for miners, but someting like this may eventually save a lot of POW coins, bitcoin included, but it must include rewarding coins, and several aspects have to be checked, maybe it will be too late to save Ixcoin, but others may survive. |

you should check the Kali project, it is used to test/monitor the security of websites, it comes with full tools for auditing the security and for penetration testing, you even have hundreds of exploits that can be used, i generally use it for DDOS testing, database penetration, XSS, shell injection ...
Great tool with loads of tutorials, but you shall have a VirtualMachine on your computer because it is an OS.

an altcoin is called scam when there is a big amount of premine, a big ICO, and a coin that has 1 or two developers who are shady and are doing some shady things. and generally when they are out to fill their pockets only by pumping their coin and dumping their premine and ICO coin. i am not saying litecoin is the best thing, it obviously has problems but LTC falls under none of these categories. What you are talking about are symptoms and signs of INTENT. Although i think the engineering design behind ICO's are all 100% scammy. But that is the underlying issue at hand. And over time has gotten extremely difficult to prove.. these guys learned years ago to cover their tracks. Our criticisms many years ago now.. taught them how to make a better scam coin (for profits) AND THAT to me, is what the intent is about. When you launch a currency for profits primarily then yeah, it's a fucking scam. Pretty simple say one thing and do another.. is fraud. Say it's a currency then focus 100% of the efforts on getting at a high price for trading on Poloniex etc. I don't mind profits but i did not come here ONLY for that reason. Since this is still the early days you should be here to be a support and be a profiteer *combined*. And not a leach who showed up to siphon cash money fiat from anything not bolted down. When you change the entire scene from how it was in the past to how it is now.. it's scammy. From the top down in every aspect we have the entire crypto machine running full tilt in greed mode. Take Cryptsy adding an obvious pointless clone coin.. say Elephant Coin. They know it will be listed at almost 0 satoshi's. They claim to add it for "user demand". We SHOULD be trading things on exchanges because they HAVE value. Not because we are putting hollow empty block chain shells onto trade platforms.. in the hopes a naive fool will come along and buy them with real money. That is the reverse of what should be happening ! And do i see you all with your arms raised in disgust ? Fuck no ! NONE of you give two shits if these exchange companies who are there to make a profit do this. Nor do you care that they violate the Free Market concept by collecting your Picture ID etc. And engineering it all to run from centralized controlled points / back room boys gangs etc. You all are in fact full of fucking god damn shit. I like this thread, i see a lot of funny people who don't even understand the meaning of a cryptocurrency.
the bitcoin is not the kinf of Cryptocoins, he is just the first one, because of him, and of the people who trusted in him, he got to a point where his value is much appreciated by a lot of people, who use it, here is the main difference between cryptocurrencies.
the question in this thread is anti-crypto, because the most important role of a crypto is not to help some kids to get their 10 bucks a week, no, the major aim of a crypto is to bear a project, bring new technologies, or new ways to use technologies. this is why people invest in ICOs, not to run Pump/Dump projects, you should really revise what you know about the crypto history, owning a currency means owning freedom, as cryptos are decentralised, every one holding a crypto holds also a share of freedom.
This is the main role and attribute of a crypto.
