That would make a lot of difference to understanding the full losses this BillyBurns suffered. Somewhere along the line he decided to join serial scammer Dean Nolan as a personal helper by becoming an 'admin' on the now defunct chatbox on the betking website. It is difficult to clarify whether he was at that time in paid employment by betking or not and it is also difficult to define what role he currently plays in betking. Yes they seem hide from this forum when they want and show up when they want. On many occasions when serial scammer Dean Nolan wanted to attack a user, his side-kicks (and known alt-accounts) tag along too. Then all of a sudden they leave. On the betking TG channel they regularly bash Bitcointalk forum constantly come back here. One of the arguments serial scammer Dean Nolan used as an attempt to silence critics was that no investors or token holders were coming forward to complain, it was a lie of course as they did. However, the same counter-argument can be made here.... why is no token holder or investor coming out and fighting the flags against serial scammer Dean Nolan? Why is serial scammer Dean Nolan not fighting the flags listed against him? |

Here is serial scammer Dean Nolan denying he is using the Crash software stolen from the Bustabit owner. He did not pay the 2 BTC licence fee to the software owner therefore should not be using it BetKing has not purchased a software license for bustabit's v1 code.

We all know that asking for personal documents is one of the favorite pretexts for exchanges to keep customers money or to avoid to fulfill their financial duties to customers, like paying bounties. When an exchange does that against their FAQ/TOS or decides to change the rules in the middle of the game, like this Adab solutions, and decide to ask for personal documents when they no longer need the support of customers and the time to pay them arrived, everything is very clear. Words for what? They announced the need for KYC for bounty participants after 8 months of them promoting this scam Adab Solution. Ripple is just following uptrend and going up constantly, XRP price target is $0.5 & very XRP will reach that level. To be honest this is all about opinions. In my opinion XRP climbing steadily, slowly is better than huge increases and decreases that say for example BTC regularly has. For me, it has to be my best investment because makes my portfolio total amount something that looks good for me. Even as other crypto go further in percentage increases, XRP is holding firm at #3 by market capital and when news of the Moneygram investment spreads and when they actually show other fintechs how Ripple (xRapid) and Moneygram integrate then it will add to the price but that will start kicking in later this year because the deal is new. There are other investments that people can go for but for me I am glad I invested in XRP when I did and I am glad that while so many of my investments went down I was fortunate to have a few that were successful enough to ensure I made a significant profit. My problem is will Ripple ever get to its all time high of 3usd. Bitcoins looks more likely to meet its 2017 all time high price after Binance coin. Well, one thing to pick so far is that this will be a massive year for cryptocurrency You have a fair question but in my case the fact I refuse to pay $10,000+ for 1x bitcoin but am willing to pay $10,000 for c.20,000+ XRP means for me it is a viable investment. It might be hitting the $3 mark any time soon but the way I investment and the way I hold I am happy. I understand clearly that many others prefer a different scenario and I wish them success in what they do and wish for. |

So far alot of attack on this casino, accusation or kind of similar thing, this would be bad for the site. I don't think they can hope for any reputation gain from public forum but getting bad day by day, especially where most crypto owned people would probably know of this place and right away put a stop sign on the decision on depositing to gamble.
To the topic creator: To be honest you are giving a good hand on destroying this site reputation and already had big hand on destroying ICO token value or stakeholders/ owners money. It might be good that if you think this was "help" but I don't think so, you killed the site in a badly way, and it wont have any/slim chance to gain the trust back especially from customers/gamblers. My suggestion is just go ahead and do what you have been saying, collect proof of scam, open a case to police department, report the progress here (what is the police telling you to do, what to collect, how can it further proceed to next step, how far from arresting/court, list of users including their provisioning of proofs to help in the case) instead of repeatly doing this all months long.
To the site owner: As a view from player/gambler on first discovery of your site, it has only three advantages: betting speed, standard house edge, minimum bet size (1satoshi each playable coin). This is not enough since the rake back is none, but only a competition to get some free tokens, which actually useless. Players prefer direct rake back of their betting coins or at least a fixed exchange rate regardless of how is your exchange price going up/down. Second, your telegram channel look like it is for investors not for players, I see all the discussion on price of BKT/BKB, how can one get back, how to increase token price, blah blah, NOT anything specific to gambling/ benefit of gamblers if they play on the site. I was joining to see how the players there telling after all of this accusations floating around the forum to have at least something to consider the site and start playing on but I have to leave after minutes of scrolling up and down, reading what going...nothing helpful to players.
I see no reason that messages about the betking scam should not be posted. Investors need to know about the previous scams carried out by serial scammer Dean Nolan so they do not get a surprise or nasty shock when their investment becomes worthless. Game players need to know about previous scams such as the 2017 dice 50 BTC jackpot that never existed and also about the 2018 Christmas wager which winners of 20 BTC +EV were not paid their winnings because if they win anything and then are not paid it will not come as a surprise or nasty shock. |

I think if the exchange is shutting down several times, this will result in losing customer trust. because some customers must have felt a loss, because the assets are restrained, can not get a profit. if it is reopened, I think it is likely that there will be a transfer of assets to another exchange.
I agree but the question the Cryptopia team did not answer was "why" did they re-open after the hack only for customers to start depositing crypto again and only for Cryptopia to close down permanently this time. |

It is a failed experiment for sure that made clear that forks are usually not going to work out. It really depends on the reasoning behind any fork whether it will be successful or not. Not all forks are experiments though it has to be accepted BCH was designed to take over BTC but it failed. |

Such an occurrence from cryptopia is a perfect example of not to keep your coin on an exchange, because of a susceptible hacking, I hope they will be able to refund investors if not all but at least they should make a provision for that That is a valid point. As it was mentioned by another user here, the only time your coins should be on an exchange are when you want to trade. At any other time they should be on your personal wallets. |

About 300$ agree. ETH is already close to this mark. In the past bullrun ETH was worth 1300$. When the price reaches this mark the next hysteria will continue. Despite the fact that some still call the project a scam.
ETH just made it to $300.  The project that has been through its platform, through its smart contract are the scams. And ethereum foundation doesn't hold any way to stop them because it's open for every project. It will ride the BTC's bull, we will see ETH reaching $300-$500 in no time. I hope you are right  $500 would a great price to hand around stable for a bit but then hopefully climb further. Let's hope for the best. Are you going to sell @$500? or you will wait as it climbs further soon? I intend to hold if it hits $500. I would be looking at $750 before I consider trading/selling. I only have a small amount of ETH so the impact either way will not be too much for me. |
